Fantastic villa

We have just returned from a wonderful break - we were in villa 1. The villa was clean, very well equipped and had the most wonderful views - a balcony going round two of the sides which gave incredible views of the sea. I have given the property 5 stars but there are 2 negatives; 1) the Ionian Plaza which is twinned to the villas is a good 15 minutes walk downhill, but very much uphill on the way back - although the offer of breakfast at the hotel is lovely it is a long way to go and in parts there are no paths so quite risky and in truth we didn't think it was worth it. The second negative is that the pool looks over 2 roads - I would call them main roads and when we first arrived we were very conscious of the noise. However, within a couple of hours we kind of 'zoned' out the road noise and listened instead to the crickets and the lapping of the pool. Although these two points are negatives they did not hamper our time and would go back in a flash!

Comfortable apartment with lovely sea views

The apartment is owned by a local hotel. The facilities are very good and we had a comfortable stay. Small negative details were the lack of hooks to hang dressing gowns and a door/window that was difficult to operate. Also some seat pads for the balcony chairs disappeared and were never replaced. The walk to the hotel for breakfast was not pleasant as it is about a kilometre away and partly on a busy road with no pavement. We therefore did it twice only. However breakfast food and coffee were provided in the apartment. The views were lovely (although you always have traffic noise) and it was only 15 mins walk to the beach. The maids were pleasant and efficient. The pool was great.

Because for its unique 180 degrees panoramic view, from an all round veranta since its the only residential hill so near Argostoli (400m.) and yet so far.The crystal clear pool, and the location of continous panoramic garden with a companation of wild nature and all kinds of flowers and trees
