Dear Vrbo Users, Hosts, and Administrators, I completely contest this review. I am writing to address several false claims about our property and our service. For over 7 years, we have proudly been certified hosts with 5-star reviews on this and other platforms, as well as with real estate agencies, demonstrating the quality, attention, and professionalism of our service. To clarify the facts: Reservation and Guests: Yasmeen initially booked for one person but later communicated via Vrbo that there would be 13 people at check-in and accepted that the villa is equipped to accommodate 12 guests. We confirmed her reservation, but upon check-in, 14 people arrived. Although Vrbo advised us not to permit their entry, we chose to do so in good faith. The villa consists of two structures: a main modern one with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, and a secondary Sardinian-Mediterranean style structure with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The photos of the property support this description. This setup might have caused confusion regarding the number of available rooms and beds, but it is clearly described in the property listing. Services and Maintenance: We provide 3 bath towels and 1 pool towel per guest, including the extra person. Our property manager was available daily throughout the stay and did not receive any complaints about cleanliness, except for an issue with a shower curtain upon arrival, which was promptly replaced. Condition of the Villa: Upon departure, the villa was left in very dirty condition, with a significant amount of garbage not disposed of, which would have incurred an additional cost that was not charged. Additionally, the tourist tax for all guests and the extra fee for the additional person were not paid. The excuse provided was that payment would be made via PayPal since no cash was available, but this payment was never made. Threat of Negative Review: At check-out, Yasmeen sent a message threatening to leave a negative review if I did not refund part of the stay. This behavior constitutes a clear attempt at extortion. Based on the documentary evidence, which I can provide upon request, and my experience with other guests, I can confirm with absolute certainty that the management of the villa has always adhered to the high standards we have set. We are dealing with a person who, as evidenced by her statements, perfectly embodies the behavior of an "hater." She has employed a clear strategy to unjustly seek a refund and avoid paying the tourist tax and the extra fee for the additional guest. Therefore, I strongly advise against hosting Yasmeen and hope that this information helps Vrbo administrators clarify the situation. Furthermore, I possess evidence of all communications that clearly demonstrate her aggressive and inappropriate behavior. I cannot allow individuals like this to waste valuable time for someone like me, who is courteous, available, and passionate about their work, with lies and hatred of this nature.
