Great stay

Had a great stay & Nathalie was a lovely host. The pool is fantastic and loads of room for our boys to roam outside plus the odd family game of cricket. The tennis table competitions proved to be a hit with all ages as well! Loads of space in the house and we were all very comfortable!

Two weeks of uninterrupted family time.

From first contact, Nathalie was extremely helpful, we got a great video for check in as we were arriving very late at night. The wine was great, we know, we drank enough of it!! The house was clean and spacious with lots of games, the swimming pool was perfect, we all loved the diving board. We nicknamed the pool hoover Janice, she was a bit annoying in the pool all the time but the pool was clean so worth it I suppose. The local town is very quiet, Boulangerie is permanently closed and the bar was seemingly hardly open. Luckily, within 10 minutes drive either way there are some great Boulangeries, one in Ruazan was amazing (doesn’t show up on maps though!) There is a good SuperU in Sauveterre-de-Guyenne and also everything else you need which is less than ten minutes drive away. The vineyards are stunning and made the perfect backdrop to a wonderful stay. Thank you ☺️

Séjour de 2 semaines été 2025. Superbe endroit, au milieu des vignes. les hôtes sont très très agréables et toujours disponibles. Les couchés de soleil dans les vignes sont chaque soir différents. La maison est bien équipée avec une très grande piscine (avec plongeoir). Nous avons eu la possibilité de déguster et découvrir le vin du château (bon à savoir). Tout y est pour passer de bonnes vacances (piscine, boulodrome, pingpong, balade dans les vignes...). Nous recommandons cette propriété.

Environnement magnifique

Maison très bien équipée, hôtesse extrêmement sympathique et arrangeante mais l’atout principal de la maison est surtout son extérieur. La vue est juste sublime. Nous avions réservé pour fêter les 18 ans de notre fils et nous avions avec nous un groupe d’adolescents. Nous avons eu un temps magnifique qui a permis de passer tout le temps entre piscine, boulodrome et BBQ. Je pense que tout le monde a passé un excellent Week-end. Peut être que l’emplacement de la maison (au milieu des vignes) est plus compliqué en cas de mauvais temps. Mais là c’était parfait, notre fils gardera un très bon souvenir de son anniversaire. Merci.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la propriété, son environnement, le logement bien adapté pour 10 personnes, la propreté et le calme. Notre hôte ne pouvait pas être là à notre arrivée mais nous avons eu toutes les informations nécessaires pour investir la maison et ses particularités. Erholung pur

Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Unterkunft liegt mitten in den Weinbergen und lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Der große Pool wurde von uns allen gerne genutzt, ebenso die Tischtennisplatte und die Boule-Anlage. Die Ausstattung war auch in Ordnung, wenn auch teilweise etwas veraltet. Es war alles gut gepflegt und sehr sauber! Vielen Dank an unsere Vermieterin Nathalie für einen tollen Urlaub

Arrived in a heatwave with temperatures nearing 40 the entire fortnight. The pool was lovely and a saviour . Very deep end with diving board which the children and adults loved. Beautiful setting in the vineyard with a constant supply of wine! Had great tour of the vineyard and wine making process. Gite is comfortable with decor a little dated but we spent most of the time outside. Location is very good and St Emilion 30 minutes away is well worth a visit. We had a wonderful holiday. Thank you to our hosts!

Das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet und hat ein absolutes Traumgrundstück. Der Pool war der Mittelpunkt unseres Urlaubs da er für einen Privat Pool eine absolut hervorzuhebende Größe hat. Vermietern sehr sehr Nett! Wir kommen wieder…

Relaxing stay in the middle of nowhere

We were quite unlucky.. Of the 52 weeks within one year, we choose to stay here during the one week of rain. Luckily, the house offers enough opportunities to relax and enjoy, such as the ping pong table and mini soccer. And of course, there is always sunshine after the rain. So during the second part of our stay, we could enjoy the swimming pool, walk between the vineyards, play some 'jeu de boules' and enjoy our surroundings even more. The swimming pool is fenced so a big plus when traveling with small children. Also, there are bedrooms and bathrooms divided over the two floors, allowing privacy when traveling with friends. If you would like to plan some visits, I would definitely recommend St-Emilion. Have a picnic in the monastery, fetch the key for the bell tower, walk through the picturesque streets and don't forget to taste some wine. Additionally, we have visited the chateau Coutet, an organic Saint-Emilion Grand Cru wine house with one of the best tour guides ever. Finally, don't forget to ask the host Pascal for a tour in Chateau Caban, accompanying the guest house!

Heaven on earth

Voor wie de rust wil opzoeken maar geen concessies wil doen op beschikbare faciliteiten is dit een ideale stek om te verblijven. Enerzijds het zwembad, het authentieke huis omringd met wijnvelden en anderzijds de het dorpje met haar bakker en andere faciliteiten op 3km afstand. Het is een prima startpunt om plaatsjes als Liborne, St Emilion of Bordeaux te bezoeken. Wij zijn met twee gezinnen (4 kinderen van 3-6 jaar) en 4 volwassenen in het huis verbleven. Er is meer dan genoeg ruimte in maar ook zeker om het huis. Het zwembad is omhekt en heeft de beschikking over een warme buitendouche. De jeu de boules baan die onder de bomen ligt maakt het plaatje compleet. Kortom, een aanrader. Groet fam. Karsten en Deeterink.

Charming property in a tranquil setting

Superb property for a family vacation with our grown-up kids, with views out across the vineyards. Stunning pool, beautiful surroundings and fabulous sunsets from the balcony every evening. Plenty to do on-site with the table tennis, boulodrome, table football and pool, and good for day trips to the coast, a great water park, the local caves and more...

Fantastiskt hus och underbart läge

Detta var mitt andra besök i detta hus och jag är lika nöjd som förra gången. Kontakten med husägaren var enkel och smidig och vi fick ett gott mottagande. Vi var 8 vuxna och 3 barn och fick alla gott om plats. Poolen var magisk och vyerna slående. Jag kan med värme rekommendera detta hus och denna värd!

We had the most wonderul time. The house and surroundings were so beautiful being among the vines. Both Nathalie and Pascale were very helpful with information and they showed us around their family run vineyard which was all very special. Plenty of space and activities for children and dogs. Grande maison agréable; grande piscine très appréciée par les enfants en particulier; propriétaires charmants; vins excellents; un cocktail idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille. La base de loisir avec sa plage artificielle, à 10 mn, est aussi un plus. La région est belle et les couchers de soleil sont magnifiques.
