Had a great time in Coos Bay. This house has a lovely view of a marina and the water where we did a little birding before going to the state parks. The owners were very nice and helpful telling us of the attractions in the area!

Perfect location for visiting Charleston and the parks just south of there. The rental was clean and the hosts very friendly and helpful. View from the common patio of the Charleston boat basin is wonderful.

Cute spot on the bay

Cute and clean. The back patio was perfect for watching the sunsets and had a great view of the marina. Owners are super nice.

Nice Cottage

Very Nice cottage for a long weekend. We played golf at Bandon during our stay so we didn’t utilize the cottage much. Very good restaurant called Millers in town to eat. Overall good stay

A pleasant stay across from the marina

The apartments are small but comfortable and very nicely furnished. The hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. The view from the common areas is great - especially the ability to use their telescope to look at birds, etc. on the water. Shore acres and Sunset beach are mere minutes away. All round an excellent experience- well worth coming back to.

August Getaway

This is the second year I have stayed here and it was every bit as delightful as last time. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly, the cottage is very clean and comfortable. It was a wonderful place to unwind and rejuvenate! I will definitely be back

John and Candy are amazing hosts. Coos Bay is me and Jays home away from home and we are so grateful we were finally able to stay on their property. The views are amazing, everything is clean and it really feels like a second home. We cant wait to stay there again. When chatting with Candy we discovered some connections with people we both know and look forward to connecting more. We appreciated our space as well but loved the connection we made.

Cute Cottage

We had the chance to stay in Coos Bay. Cottage was cute and quaint. Only downside is room "A" was right next to the road that links Charlestown to Coos Bay so bring some ear plugs. Ear plugs were perfect for me and I slept soundly. Great Sushi bar up the road. The owners were very welcoming and that was also a bonus. Would stay again!

Cozy, but smoky

First, if u don't like cigarettes, this isn't the place to stay. Otherwise it was great. Very cute and cozy. The kitchen has everything u need including dishes, cutlery, cookware. There's also some basic spices and tea and coffee for those who like to still make their own while vacationing. There's plenty of blankets and pillows as well as toiletries. We adored this rental and found ourselves wishing the cigarette smell wasn't so bad so that we could come back. The cigarette smell was a very current and long time smoked in smell. This is confusing as it's supposed to be a nonsmoking rental. We used some air freshener and that helped. However the next day when we left we smelled like the ashtray smell. It was a bit embarrassing. The housekeeper mentioned to the hosts the presence of the air freshener and the owners apologized about the odor. They said that they were unaware of the issue. Although this is a mostly thumbs up review all together, we would never have stayed at this rental with knowledge of the odor.

It is true that our Bay Cove properties are smoke free! On a rare occurance we will have a guest who is a smoker and we have a strict policy they should smoke off the property. I have a feeling a guest in the other cottage was smoking too close to Cottage A and it must have drifted in the window. We were out of town and if this guest would have alerted us to the problem we would have done some investigating. Unfortunately, the amount of air freshner they used was much worse and we had to thoroughly wash all bedding even the items in the closets and air the cottage out for 2 days to make it smell fresh again. Our house keeper said she wasn't aware of any smoke smell when she left the property prior to their check in? We regret their dissatisfaction and we plan to be more diligent on people smoking outside our property. Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I only wish we would have know when it happened. Sweet Cottage

This was our second time staying at the cottage. It’s cozy and welcoming with everything we need. Candy and John are great hosts! The location is perfect for yummy seafood and Shore Acres State Park. We’ll be back next year for holiday lights!

Convenient location for crabbing and cooking

Cute cottage, a little bigger than I expected. Nice view. It's to bad the city doesn't allow guests to use the hot tub. Unexpected refrigerator in the unit a big plus. John (property manager), is very nice and helpful. The availability of a crab pot cooker is wonderful. The cottage was very clean (just one unwelcome big spider, my husband took care of). The road by the unit is busy and noisy. The best part they use unscented laundry detergent/dryer sheets for all bedding materials!!! Highly recommend staying here and we will be back. Thank you.

70th Birthday present

I was greeted in the morning at the local ocean park by a mother deer and 2 fawns who graciously allowed me to watch & take pictures. I spent the day wandering around the area and looking for various ocean views and beaches to enjoy - ended the day by watching a mother whale and her young one swimming out in the Pacific. Then I came back to the cottage and enjoyed a good night's sleep. Great way to spend my 70th birthday!!!
