The Evernedes house

Charming fully renovated farmhouse with pool. Located at the edge of the river (Ceze), 1 km away from the Roque sur Ceze a village listed amongst the most beautiful villages of France in a peaceful setting, surrounded with woods and vines certified organic agriculture.
Facing the Escatte Rock where are numerous golden eagles which often come to fly above the farmhouse.
This is a sign that it is a very eco friendly environment!
You can escape by taking numerous paths in the area or stroll to the famous waterfall of Sautadet located 800 m away from the farmhouse via a path by the riverside.

Great holliday in early spring

the house is in a great location with good walking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. We would have liked to have had a few comfortable garden chairs, but the stay was very pleasant overall.

Privacy, sound of frogs and river

We had a wonderful stay at the house, which is surrounded by beautiful vineyards, borders a river and has a frog pond. The kids played outside for hours in end while we enjoyed the fireplace, cooked meals and rested. Would highly recommend!

A fantastic house in a stunning area. Beautiful swimmable river minutes from the back gate; walk back up the track and past the old cottage for access to the amazing Rocque sur Ceze cliffs and cascades. Everything was clean and the pool was brilliant.We would have liked a book of info/instructions in the house; also be aware that there are actually 3 bedrooms, and the 4th is a very lovely Shepherd's Hut.Nearest shop is 25 mins away in Bagnol.Highly recommended.

Leider können wir keine gute Bewertung geben. Überall waren Spinnweben, Staub und tote Insekten. Das Geschirr im Schrank war noch voller Essensreste. Als wir die Besitzerin darauf ansprachen, bekamen wir Antworten wie „Wir sind hier auf dem Land“.Die Angaben zur Anzahl der Zimmer und Badezimmer sind nicht korrekt. Ein Schlafzimmer und eine Toilette, welche nur ein Plumsklo ist, sind außerhalb des Hauses in einem Bauwagen. In diesem kriegt man kein Auge zu, wenn auf dem Campingplatz direkt nebenan gefeiert wird. Für uns am schlimmsten war, dass es im Haus entgegen der Ausschreibung keine Klimaanlage gibt. Bei Temperaturen von 35 bis 40 Grad war es drinnen unerträglich, an Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Die Kaskaden sind 25 Minuten entfernt, nicht 2. Die Sessel und Sofas sind durchgesessen, und es gibt keine Rauchmelder im Haus.Der Weg zum Haus is katastrophal, Schrammen am Auto sind nicht zu vermeiden, und wir sind selbst mit einem Kombi mehrmals aufgesetzt. Wegen der fehlenden Klimaanlage hat uns die Besitzerin eine Erstattung zugesagt. Als Bedingung hat sie von uns verlangt, dass wir die Endreinigung übernehmen, obwohl diese eigentlich im Mietpreis inbegriffen ist. Wir haben das Haus vor der Abreise also noch gereinigt. Bei der Abreise hatte sie das Geld nicht dabei und auf meine Frage danach meinte sie, ich solle ihr doch vertrauen. Bis heute haben wir von ihr keine Rückzahlung erhalten. Sie ignoriert sämtliche Nachrichten. Wir fühlen uns betrogen.

Das Haus liegt absolut ruhig mit direktem Zugang zum Fluss. Ein Highlight ist der Pool und der Schäferwagen für Übernachtungen im Garten. Wer Wert auf frische Backwaren legt muss zum nächsten Bäcker ca. 5 Km einplanen. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Eine sehr nette Geste waren die Weine, die Marmelade und die Kekse zur Begrüßung

Lumineuse parenthèse dans la belle maison de Marilyne. Nous avons été comblés au-delà de nos attentes.Très belle propriété, intérieur particulièrement harmonieux, aménagé avec goût et raffinement. Marilyne est une hôtesse attentionnée, nous avons beaucoup apprécié ses petits cadeaux d'accueil et recommandons cet hébergement sans aucune réserve.

L’arrivée a été compliquée : le mas est accessible par un chemin en terre très abîmé, difficilement praticable avec une voiture classique ou rabaissée. Un SUV est préférable.À notre arrivée, nous avons été déçus par le manque de propreté (poussière, toiles d’araignée, cuisine et frigo sales, canapés poussiéreux, etc.). Cela a été source de gêne et nous a poussés à manger plus souvent à l’extérieur. Durant nos 10 jours, personne n’est venu entretenir la piscine.Nous ne partageons donc pas totalement les avis très positifs des précédents hôtes. La propriétaire n’a pas cherché à comprendre ni à nous aider : elle nous a dit que nous avions « d’autres standards d’hygiène » et que « ça doit briller chez vous », sans même entrer pour constater ce que nous voulions dire par manque de propreté. Cette réaction nous a mis mal à l’aise et nous a finalement conduits à écourter notre séjour.En revanche, le mas est très beau, spacieux, avec une grande piscine et un vaste terrain privé. Le calme est total et chacun peut trouver son espace. La localisation est pratique : restaurants, supermarché et station-service sont à moins de 15 minutes.Un lieu plein de potentiel, mais qui mériterait plus de soin et d’attention pour offrir une expérience à la hauteur du cadre.

Maison et jardin magnifiques, bien equipés, décorés et entretenus. La rivière au pied de la maison est tres agréable, tout comme la piscine. Il manque peut etre un petit descriptif d'arrivée avec les consignes pour jeter les poubelles, avoir les adresses des commerces et restaurants les plus proches et quelques conseils pratiques.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger, fantastischer Lage. Das Grundstück sehr gepflegt, der ideale Ort zum Entschleunigen. Viele Aktivitäten in der Umgebung möglich, wie z.B. Kanufahrten auf der Ardeche oder der Ceze (unbedingt die Strecke von Montclust 12 km stromab !!!). Höhle Chauvet sehenswert. Nimes, Orange, Avignon oder Pont du Gard gut erreichbar.Top!!!

Des vacances magiques

Nous tenons à remercier chaleureusement Maryline pour la location de sa maison plein de charme dans laquelle nous avons passé des vacances de Noël en famille féerique.Le cadre est magnifique, la décoration intérieure a été choisie avec beaucoup de goût et la literie est très confortable. Wir genossen 12 wunderbare Tage in Marilyns schönem Haus und herrlichem Garten. Unser Hund konnte sich im nahen Fluss erfrischen und wir im Pool! Das Haus liegt fantastisch und hat einen grossen Umschwung mit Froschteich und ist eingezäunt. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und danken der Gastgeberin für die Geschenke. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Très agréable séjour

Gite très agréable, au calme et très bien aménagé avec un grand jardin clôturé parfait pour notre chien. Nous avons passé 10 jours sans accroc. La description de la location reflète la réalité. Pas de mauvaises surprises. Merci à Maryline la propriétaire pour son accueil et les vins de sa production à déguster. La région offre beaucoup de lieux à visiter. Nous avons profité de 4 restaurants très sympathiques dans un rayon de 2 kilomètres. Possibilité de randonner dans la forêt avoisinante. Séjour parfait pour les amoureux de nature et de calme.
