The Penthouse requires a minimum 2-night stay on weekends, and with the ability to sleep 20 people in the 6 bedrooms, 5-bathroom suite, your visit to the Penthouse will be one to remember! Guests have access to underground parking, Rec Room with shuffleboard table, private rooftop deck with 6-person hot tub and a view of the huge stadium screen. Eateries at the Grand Manse include Blue Orchid Thai Restaurant, Grey Whale Sushi and Hurts Donuts. Visit Boiler Brewing room for some of our favorite craft beer!

Hosts will be available 24/7 for any maintenance issues, questions, or concerns.

Located in the heart of downtown Lincoln within walking distance to the University of Nebraska, Memorial Stadium, Pinnacle Bank Arena, Amtrak Station, Haymarket Park, Lied Center, downtown bars and restaurants as well as the Historic Haymarket District … just a block away.

The Grand Manse is a location unlike any other in Nebraska. The histories of some of Nebraska’s famous citizens have been interwoven with the history of the space in its former incarnation as the U.S. Court House and Post Office. The Grand Manse, reflects the building itself “the great house” filled to the roof with marble, terrazzo, oak, maple, brass and many of the elements that were fundamental materials used when a grand structure was being built in 1904. It also reflects the new chapter in history that is being built in the space: the stories of brides and grooms, honored guests, esteemed retirees and executives, who choose The Grand Manse as the perfect venue for their celebrations, events, specialty and corporate lodging.

The Grand Manse is a non-smoking facility. If you need to smoke, please do outside away from any main entrance door. If there has been smoking inside the room, there will be a minimum fee of $250 charged to your room.

The Grand Manse is not only a place for you to stay the night, but also home to 52 residential units, corporate offices, and event spaces. Please be considerate of others in the building while you are staying with us.
No more than 20 persons may occupy the Penthouse without prior written consent of management. Pets are not permitted. The Grand Manse, including the Penthouse and parking garage, is 100% smoke free. No furnishings shall be removed from the Penthouse. We have no responsibility for lost, stolen, or abandoned items. Door Fobs (4 Total) Two in lock box and two on Penthouse table. You can request additional fobs but please keep in mind a $50 charge is deducted for each lost key card/key fob. Guests may not sublet any portion of the Penthouse. Guest (and each invitee) acknowledges and understands that Guest is solely responsible for any accident or injury to any person during the Guest`s stay at the Penthouse and in the Grand manse and that Old Federal Place, LLC (`Owner`) accepts no legal or financial responsibility. No weapons or fireworks allowed on the property. Absolutely no house parties. Roof deck: no going beyond the gated area. Cancellations are subject to admin fee of 5%. Admin fees will be deducted prior refunds.
