About this property

Owl Barn is a contemporary luxury barn conversion set in the peace and quiet of the Herefordshire countryside. Sleeping up to 11 guests it has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.The open plan kitchen and dining room is perfect for catering up to 12 with a huge dining table and lots of space. The first floor makes the most of the stunning views with an enormous living room and large fireplace complete with wood burner. There is underfloor heating throughout and all modern appliances that you would expect.Outside there is a hot tub which is operational all year round and a large private garden. There is parking for up to 6 cars and a large patio area wraps around the property. The barn is located in a quiet hamlet deep in the countryside and is surrounded by fields and woodland.There are lots of footpaths and bridleways that guests can take to explore the area.

The closet town LEOMINSTER is 5 miles away with Ludlow and Hereford being about 12 miles.
Also close by is the beautiful Wye Valley and of course Wales is just over the border.Many guests love the many out door pursuits available in the area as well as the black and white villages.

Slice of Heaven in the English Countryside

Heavenly! From the high end kitchen to the luxury bedding to the beautiful grounds, this barn conversion well exceeds our expectations. We were greeted with a bountiful welcome Basket of local treats, and enjoyed the serenity of this immaculate property. Would love to stay again and highly recommend - especially for a large group!

Fabulous stay

Great communication throughout with Becky and Martyn: advised on local walks/ pubs and chefs to come to barn if required- always replied within a few hours of mailing. Extra cleaning precautions in place due to Covid 19 and barn was super clean throughout- everyone felt very safe. Interior of barn is gorgeous- bedrooms and bathrooms all well set out and spacious . Upstairs lounge with log burner was amazing and easy to use. Hot tub and gardens a treat

Such a happy weekend

Owl Barn is fabulous! The 2 living spaces are so spacious and light with comfortable furnishing and a very well equipped kitchen. There’s plenty of room in the garden to play croquet (which we took with us) and other garden games stored in the property. We ate all our meals outside on the vast patio, enjoying sunshine all day long. The hot tub was a great bonus, enjoyed by all. This is a wonderful place to spend a relaxing weekend away with family and friends. Thank you Martyn and Becky for your warm welcome.

Beautiful barn in a peaceful location

We were 4 families coming together to celebrate my father’s 70th. The barn was beautifully decorated with plenty of space for 11 of us to relax (8 adults and 3 young children) Downstairs was 2 bedrooms (one had the bunk room attatched) and upstairs was another 2 rooms and one of those rooms included a little mezzanine with single bed. These rooms were great for those of us with kids. Each room had access to its own bathroom and there was a seating area both upstairs and down. There is also a hot tub in the garden which was utilised by our party several times during our short stay. The property is very well maintained and spotless and the owners made a point of checking in to ensure everything was ok. They even left us a lovely hamper of goodies on our arrival which was very much appreciated. It’s the little extra touches that make it special. Overall this was a fab property for a largish gathering and if you are looking for a peaceful getaway from noise and pollution then this is the ideal place.
