Charming independent 70s house with private garden just 2 minutes by car from Bormio and 5 minutes walk from the Grand Hotel and Bagni Nuovi spa.
Ideal for those who want to enjoy the peace and tranquility of a holiday of nature and relaxation and for lovers of two wheels (racing and mountain bikes) given the immediate proximity to the climb of the Stelvio Pass and the Cancano dikes .

The house is surrounded by a private garden in grass where you can relax on the comfortable deck chairs made available to you during the warmer seasons and take advantage of the barbecue for grilling meat or fish outdoors, with your family or friends.
At guests' disposal there is a garage / laundry room which can be used as a ski and boot deposit during the winter season and bicycle storage during the other seasons. Inside the box there is also a water barrel to be used for washing bicycles.

The villa "Il Grillo" is in fact a 5-minute walk from the Bagni Nuovi spa and the La Pliniana promenade and a 2-minute drive from the Pozza di Leonardo (a natural pool of outdoor thermal water accessible free of charge day and night ) and the Bagni Vecchi spa.
The house is also located at the foot of the climb of the Stelvio Pass and the Cancano dikes.

The indicated price is inclusive of final cleaning, hot water, heating, electricity and bed linen and towels.

TOURIST TAX: the tourist tax to be paid on the spot is excluded from the total amount. The cost is € 1.00 per person per day up to a maximum of 7 days, minors under the age of 18 are exempt.

Cycling Stelvio

I stayed there with my son. The main goal was to cycle the Stelvio. The location of the house if perfect for this. And the house has a good option to store the bikes safely. Contact with the owner was perfect. She did give us useful information about restaurants, the mountains etc. Due to the weather we could not fully climb the Stelvio. But we managed to cycle the Mortirolo and the Gavia. So we had a great week in a lovely accomodation.

Traumhaft gelegen nahe Bormio und vorallem direkt an der Auffahrt zum Stelvio! Eines der wenigen zu mietenden alleinstehenden Häuser! Typisch italienisch und sehr authentisch! Schöner Grill mit Steinplatte, Liegestühle im Garten und Garage! Und das Beste sind die Vermieter! Man fühlt sich, wie bei guten Freunden! Super gerne kommen wir wieder! Auch wegen dem kostenfreien Natursteinpool mit heisser Quelle direkt am Fluss ca. 1,5km vom Haus entfernt! Was für ein Kleinod, nicht nur für Radfahrer!

Fijne plek om de Stelvio en omgeving te bezoeken

We waren met 8 mannen hier. Dat was wel wat krap. Stoelen voor buiten binnen gebruikt. Lost zich wel op! Huisje is gedateerd maar dat was voor ons geen probleem. Koffieapparaat was wel echt klein (of waren wij met teveel koffiedrinkers😉). Dichtbij de Stelvio en om hier met de motor te toeren was echt subliem! Zoek je een plekje en hoef je niet beslist t nieuwste. Doen!

perfecte vakantiewoning om met vriendengroep een paar dagen te fietsen

Vakantiewoning is perfect om met een groep van 4-5 vrienden een paar dagen te fietsen over alle bekende cols in de omgeving; Fraele, Foscagno, Stelvio, Umbrailpass, Mortirolo, Gavia etc. Woning beschikt over keuken(tje), badkamer(tje) en een garage waar fietsen gestald kunnen worden. Fietsverhuur is dichtbij, in Bormio. Ons verblijf was eind september 22-29, angst voor sneeuwval bleek niet nodig, een paar dagen strakblauwe lucht en temperatuur van ca 15-20 graden in het dal, op de toppen 5-10 graden.

A cosy family house at a beautiful spot between the mountains

Nice cosy chalet with a beautiful and complete fenced garden. Only a 5 min drive to Bormio centre which is a very nice little town. Our family and our dog enjoyed the week with lots of outdoor activities. The owners were very helpful and kind.

Casa bellissima e grande ospitalità

Siamo arrivati venerdi sera tardi e ci hanno accolti senza nessun problema e con molta gentilezza, facendoci trovare anche un dolce per la colazione. L'appartamento è forse anche piu bello di come è in foto. La pulizia è ottima. Ci siamo trovati veramente, se dovessimo tornare a Bormio torneremmo sicuramente a trovarvi!

Zeer vriendelijke, behulpzame mensen. Je mag er alles aan vragen! Prachtige streek, mooi huisje. De badkamer (douche), is wel dringend aan renovatie toe. 60x60 met een gordijn is echt te klein om u deftig te kunnen douchen. Huisje is ideaal voor met 4 personen. Ligt langs een redelijk drukke weg, je moet wel alles met de wagen doen. Bormio dorpje ligt iets te ver om te voet te doen.

Mooie trike vakantie

Heel leuk, authentiek huisje met een prachtig uitzicht en een hele fijne tuin. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig in het huisje. We hebben met twee trikes vanaf hier de beruchte passen gereden. In 1 woord geweldig. We hebben geweldig weer gehad, dus dat zijn extra plus punten. De trikes konden mooi bij het huisje geparkeerd worden en je zit maar tweehonderd meter van het begin van de Stelvio pass. De ontvangst van was goed geregeld met de eigenaar die heel goed Engels spreekt. Hij hield ons op de hoogte van wegafsluitingen via Whatsapp en van dingen die er in de buurt te doen waren. Ook had hij leuke aanbevelingen voor restaurants. Wij hebben ons prima vermaakt en kunnen terugkijken op een geweldige vakantie. Groetjes Ad, Danielle, Mascha en Erwin

Toplocatie. Leuk huis met een grote tuin

Super mooie locatie. Wij zijn hier geweest om te gaan fietsen. In de garage konden we alle fietsen opbergen. Dus dat was makkelijk. Bij aankomst stond een lekker taartje voor ons klaar. De huiseigenaar Christian heeft nadat hij ons een rondleiding heeft gegeven nog een goede tip gegeven voor een restaurant in Bormio. Heerlijk locale gerechten gegeten. We hebben ook 2 dagen gebruik gemaakt van de bbq die in tuin stond. Ik kan dit huis echt aanraden. Wij waren met 7 personen.

Perfect cycling holidays

The house is perfectly situated, just outside the center of Bormio. All the climbs start nearby; no need to take the car. After a long night trip, we had a warm welcome by the owners and could taste their very nice pie. The house had everything we needed: 6 beds, a kitchen with dishwasher, a bathroom with shower, washing machine and a nice little garden with barbecue. We could lock up our bikes in the garage. Bormio is really a fantastic base for all cycle and bike lovers. We will go back, that's for sure!

Great location. Stunning panoramic views from the property overlooking Bormio.

If you are road/MTB enthusiasts look no further. Road to Stelvio pass is just around the corner. The property has all the necessary equipment including secure garage for bikes. The owner lives close by if needed. Great location for walking and exploring too.
