We had a great stay and would come back to this house in a heartbeat. We loved the location, was a bit closer to Perkins Cove but a reasonable walk into town. House was ready a bit early, which is always appreciated, and very clean. A/C kept all the rooms cool on very hot days. The house was also well equipped with anything you would need for cooking, and also books, games, etc. Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely house!

This house is in a great spot in the middle of town. It is easily in walking distance between Perkins Cove, the beach, and downtown Ogunquit. Good times!

Wonderful stay!

Our family had a wonderful time, and will definitely be back next year. This is a lovely older home with plenty of room for our family (2 grown children, their spouses and 3 grandchildren). The home was well equipped with just about anything you need (kitchen equipment, books, games, beach toys, etc..). We spent a lot of time relaxing on the large deck and playing ping pong. The location is ideal; close to the Marginal Way, Perkins Cove, the center of town and the beach. Who could ask for anything more?!

Annual Family Trip

This was our first time staying at this property. We hope it will be the first of many. The host was outstanding and the communication was terrific. Great location and neat home

We all enjoyed are stay. We really liked the new windows and the new deck! There was plenty of space in the house. The driveway is quite bumpy, watch your step.

Great rental!

We had a great time at this rental property. The house has a nice layout and was not far from the beach, Perkins Cove or the marginal way. The kitchen is well equipped so it was easy to make meals at the house if you don't want to eat out. It is a very comfortable home and although it is very basic, it is a great place to stay! We would definitely return.

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay.

The location was great! Pleasant old home; could use )some work in a couple of places (downstairs shower, doorway to deck). It was quiet, in spite of being on shore road with a lot of traffic. We enjoyed walks to Perkins Cove & the Marginal Way. Matthew was easy to work with & very accomodating. Thanks.

Hey Bruce, Was just looking through reviews from last Summer. Happy to say the downstairs bath has been updated and the sliding door to deck replaced. Infact, the new deck is double the size (20' x 20'). I also replaced the garage and have a fuss ball and ping pong table there. Sorry for the delayed response. I simply wanted to wait until I had a solution in place. Thanks for your review!

Excellent Stay in Ogunquit

The house was well suited for a family of three and family of four. The location of the house worked out. It took us about a 20 min walk (with children) to the beach. You will get plenty of exercise! Perkins cove was a shorter walk. The beach chairs, toys, etc that were made available were great to have! I would recommend this place and would be happy to rent again.

Double family vacation!

We rented this property to accommodate two sets of parents, my three children, my girlfriend and myself. Everybody had their own room and the three single beds at the end of the hall works perfectly for the kids. There is a very large dining space and enough and chairs for us all to sit around each night (9 of us) and have a great dinner. Except of course for the nights that we chose to walk down to Perkins Cove and eat at some of the fantastic restaurants there. We had a big breakfast every morning and then cooked up lunches to take to the beach. All the extra beach chairs , beach cart and sand toys etc. all came in super handy when walking down to the main beach. What very little issues we had during our stay, the property owner was extremely quick to respond to handle anything that came up. If you have a large group of people this is absolutely the best place to stay in town!

Great week

This is a wonderful home and we would stay here again anytime. The only problem was the property manager. We got into the home around 3. The home appeared clean and ready for us. As per the instructions if cleaning done we could go in early. Keys were there, sheets were clean and ready, towels clean and put away and the home was very clean (except under the sofa). Kim and cleaning crew arrived at 335 pm and on the phone Kim was extremely rude and condescending as well as when they arrived at 345 to clean 4pm check in). The home is wonderful, the owner very pleasant and great location. But I would lose the property manager and cleaning crew. That was the ONLY negative

Great location

Great location. The place was super clean. Air conditioners worked well and kept the place nice and cool. There’s a great deck over the garage with a lot of seating. The driveway is a slight pain if one of the first cars in needs to get out. We had adults, teenagers and young kids. Plenty of room for everyone! Biggest piece of feedback is that the auto-generated email that you get a couple days before your reservation dates is incorrect. It tells you that check out is at noon (the book in the house says 11) and that you have to provide your own linens, towels, and beach towels. We have a family of 5 - extra space doesn’t exist in our car. I had to pack a couple of large bags with extra towels and bed linens only to check in and find that they were all provided. Not the end of the world, but something that needs to get updated.

Perfect location in Ogunquit

The house is set back from Shore Road and is very pleasant. We enjoyed the new deck in the back of the house with great seating and a large gas grill. The floor plan of the house is ideal and we used every room. The house was very clean and well equipped. But most of it, we loved the location ... walking a few minutes to Perkins Cove, or the marginal way through the quiet local streets or to the commercial side of Shore Road. Wonderful vacation home to enjoy Ogunquit and surrounding towns

We had an excellent stay at Matt's place which is ideslly located on Shore Road; close to both the Marginal Way, Perkins Cove and the restaurants, yet very quiet at night. The house was spacious for our family of four adults. The cable tv with Netflix was excellent , the beds very comfortable (so important) and had everything we needed for our one week stay. We appreciated the washer and dryer as well. We brought our badminton rackets and enjoyed playing on the large lawn. Ogunquit itself is lovely, but also well situated for visiting Boston, Portsmouth, Kittery, (outlets), Portland and Freeport. We loved the ice cream at The Scoop Deck and our al fresco dining at Frisnbee's Wharf at Pepperell Cove (Kittery Point). Thanks for sharing your home Matt, we hope to be back soon!

Place was excellent for us. Early in the season we were able to spend a couple afternoons on the deck. So close to everything that there were three days that the car never moved. Joan was so lovely and we left her with our home made maple syrup. We would recommend this house to others. Thanks Matt.

Great location

The home is steps to Perkins cove, a little further to the beach but we walked it with a two year old in tow each day with no problem. The deck was perfect for us at it was totally enclosed only leading to the house so our toddler couldn't escape. The owner is very responsive and great to deal with. All in all we had a great time!

We had a wonderful week staying here. The bedrooms are spacious, the living room is great, and everything is clean and well cared for. The location is absolutely ideal. You're 10 minutes from either Perkin's Cove or the main intersection in town. We would gladly spend another week here.

Great location

Matt (owner) and Joan (onsite caretaker) were very responsive and accommodating. We stayed here for two weeks. The location of this classic New England house was our favorite feature - we could walk to the beach and to a variety of shops and restaurants in town with ease (which is important as traffic/parking can be a pain during the busy season). The house itself worked well for our mixed age family group (infant to senior citizen and everything in between). The house had a good assortment of beach chairs, sand toys, croquet sets, and baby gear. The kids were able to run around and play in the big side yard, and there was enough space for everyone to find a quiet nook when the big group was too much.

Great or large families

This house was perfect for our family. There were 10 of us ranging in age from 2 to 55 and there was plenty of space inside and out for all of us. It's walking distance to Perkins Cove, the Marginal Way and the beach. It has everything you could need including boogie boards, strollers, beach stroller and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped. We would definetely stay there again.
