Unique and special little hideaway
What a adorable oasis by a canal- nature lovers will LOVE this spot-
Our dog had a nice fenced in area- and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the quiet -saw freshwater stingrays, fishes, turtles and a baby gator.
So close to the Homossassa Marina and restaurants -
Inside was clean comfortable and perfect for the weekend.
Kayaked the morning before we left, finishing off a perfect weekend-
Thank you to our hosts! we will be back. -
P.S>DO bring bug spray if you go in the summer.
Dear Kathleen, We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay. Thank you so much for coming and being so respectful and your thoughtfulness by keeping the cottage so neat and tidy. Do come back soon. Thank you Debra and Dennis Schultz
Quaint, with all that you need.
Beautiful cottage perfectly away from it all, but a close distance to Publix and places to eat. We brought a small boat which was perfect to travel out to the springs with and swim. We used their kayaks available and loved it all. We brought a Kerig coffee maker and pods, but they had a coffee maker here and were well stocked if you wanted to cook. We enjoyed breakfast at the biscuit barn and dinner at the freezer. We also found an ice cream shoppe overlooking crystal river.
The owners were wonderful, showed us the cottage property and were very helpful on how to navigate our boat, where to park trailer and where to eat! Wonderful experience with Dauggter (5) and son 17
Quaint cottage. Comfy bed. Located close to everything we wanted to do. Swim with manatees and scalloping so fun.
Perfect for family of 3 with small child
My daughter was up by 6:30am asking to fish or ride in the kayaks each day. We had puzzles and DVDs for the rainy moments. LOVED the old radios and TVs that decorated the house. Would visit again! It said it slept 4 but it was only a bed and large couch....that was fine for us.
The home was clean and comfortable and beautifuly decorated. The owners were friendly and helpful. Perfect place for our puppy to run around. The river/canal is beautiful and peaceful but not good for swimming/snorkeling. It was nice being able to watch the fish and turtles and cruise the river on our boat. Definitely a place for those who just want to relax and de-stress.
Looking forward to the next time we stay at the Schultz' cottage for some tranquility!
