2 Bedroom Suite in brand new house in Central Lonsdale. The house is located lust 3 blocks off Lonsdale and the brand new City Market grocery store and London Drugs. All the Lonsdale amenities and public transit within walking distance. Also only 3 blocks to Lions Gate Hospital, and just a few blocks to Hwy 1 & easy proximity to Whistler. Only 20 minutes to downtown by car or bus. Quiet street with very little traffic as street dead-ends in next block.

Appliance package consisting of Washer / Dryer / Dishwasher / Fridge / Stove / Microwave / Garburator / Security System, and electric baseboard heat. White kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops, hardwood floors in living/dining area, Berber carpet in bedrooms, and European stone tile in bathroom. Private entrance on side of the house. Full height 8' ceilings. Plenty of on-street parking & no day/time restrictions in. There is also a pull-out sofa bed.

Includes wireless high-speed Internet, as well as 42" TV with cable. No cleaning fee and no check-out cleaning requirements for guests.

The house is perfect and stocked with everything you need. It’s close to a grocery store with only a slight hill back up to the house. The host is wonderful and very attentive if you need anything. The house is clean and had plenty of light for a basement suite. I stayed for a month visiting family. It was perfect. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful stay. Great location. Parking in front of the house. The suite was clean, well stocked and very private. Communication was prompt and easy. Public transportation, stores and restaurants were in walking distance. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

It was the perfect place for a two week stay. Well appointed kitchen for me to cook meals not just reheat meals. Cozy living area where we watched movies. Dining table was perfect for playing cards. The beds were comfortable and I may have taken a nap on the couch. Soaker tub a bonus and having a washing machine when staying for two weeks was perfection. Location is excellent for shopping and dining out. I will definitely be looking to stay here for future stays when visiting family.

Great for Visiting Family

The unit was very clean and well equipped. We were visiting elderly relative and able to cook a big feast for Thanksgiving for him. The kitchen had everything we needed.

Cozy Little Suite close to Lonsdale

Owners were quick to respond and very accommodating. Suite was very clean and tidy. Washer and dryer were super convenient with 2 little kids. Nothing but a positive experience. Would stay here again in the future.

Nice attention to detail!

Lovely little apartment, extremely well equipped, clean, new and very centrally located. The owners were prompt in reply to all correspondence and were very friendly and polite. We had a great stay! The apartment was equipped with plastic cups, bowls etc from ikea which was ideal for our young children!

Overall it is good and everything works fine. But it is located in the basement. Natural light is limited and the humidity is high (no aircon and limited airflow with open door and windows). For a short stay it is no problem but after a week you will miss natural light. Bedrooms are very good. The sofa was falling apart and the cleaning in the kitchen can be improved.

Great suite and very clean

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed it. It’s a great suite, roomy (we were 4 adults), very clean, close to pharmacies, grocery stores and restaurants, walking distance. Would definitely rent again!

This suite is located off the top of Lonsdale and provides easy access to all the amenities in North Vancouver. The suite is very clean and fully stocked with everything you would need for an extended stay. Jason and Melissa are great hosts.

finding a quite place

My daughter and I had a great stay. Quiet and uneventful. well stocked kitchen. I need to follow up with property manager though as I don't see the damage deposit has been returned and we checked out a week ago tomorrow. Perhaps it will show up tomorrow. not sure of the normal time delay. would stay there again.

North Vancouver December/January 2018/19 visit.

Our Australian/Canadian son, daughter-in-law & grandson live in North Vancouver, so for a Christmas/New Year visit Jason & Melissa's basement suite was ideally situated only a short walk away. The suite is extremely comfortable and very well appointed, and very suitable for three Australian adult visitors. Large washer & dryer was also most welcome. The suite is also close to the main shopping area of Upper Lonsdale and many bus stops for many routes to downtown and other areas. The suite is well protected by a security system, and the keypad entry was most appreciated. Our stay was mostly seamless, with a couple of minor issues handled in good time and humour by our host. We visit North Van as often as we can and would definitely stay with Jason & Melissa again. We have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone else.

A perfect basement apartment, freshly decorated and contains absolutely everything needed

A wonderful and faultless apartment that is very quiet but only 7 minutes walk to Lonsdale shops, including Loblaws City Market supermarket. And 30 minutes stroll to the Quay / Seabus (we bought Compass cards and cheated by using the bus on the return uphill). The apartment has everything that we could possibly need and all in tip-top condition. Plenty of linen and towels - including bath towels that fit around my ample, 6-foot frame. The joining instructions were detailed and precise and our hosts live above and offered us any help (although none needed). Would definitely return.

Extremely Clean, Convenient, and Comfortable!

This unit was perfect for our family. The location is ideal...easy access to downtown Vancouver via either sea bus or car. There is excellent access to local grocery stores, restaurants, etc. but still in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. The suite is decorated in a clean, modern style and is extremely well-equipped. The rental is in the basement level of a lovely suburban home (landlord lives upstairs...a real plus!) Additionally, it is located on a street with ample free/unrestricted parking. The place was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Additionally, I must compliment Jason- the owner. He was professional, but warm and welcoming. I trust that he would have taken prompt action to correct any problems IF we had any. That is probably the best part...the stay was "hassle-free". This is a gem of a rental property if you are looking for a clean, convenient, and comfortable stay in the Vancouver area.

Lovely suite - enjoyable stay

I stayed with my elderly mother while her place was getting renovated. The suite is bright and cheerful, nice hardwood floors. We found everything we needed in the suite including a stackable washer/dryer. The bathroom features a soaker tub as well as a shower. Every room has it's own thermostadt so we were always comfortable. One of the bed's is semi firm and the other is softer, not exceedingly soft, (suited to someone who likes a softer mattress). The bed linens in both bedrooms were crisp and clean. The suite was situated in their basement, but felt private. We could not hear anything from upstairs aside from the occasional patter of feet. My mom needed to turn the tv up and being in the basement allowed us to feel more free about our noise level. (At least I hope that was okay :) The suite is very affordably priced and is located on a quiet street, but within walking distance of the main street, Lonsdale. On Lonsdale you can catch buses to downtown Vancouver, Lonsdale Quay, Grouse Mountain and other tourist destinations. The City Market, a large grocery store, is a couple of blocks away, as are a number of good restaurants. Jason made himself available for any questions and I got the feeling he would supply us with whatever we needed, but they really have thought of everything. Great place to stay. I should think it would be especially ideal for two single travellers.
