This popular 2 bedroomed (1 double, 1 twin) country home offers a peaceful and comfortable haven for you to return to after exploring the beautiful area surrounding La Roche Bernard and is perfectly placed for visiting the sandy beaches, fantastic coves and many inland attractions of South Brittany.

Nestling in rural France, between the market towns of Redon and La Roche Bernard, the well-equipped gite of lesChênes is on the edge of the historic village of Sainte Anne and is part of a traditional Breton farmhouse, with 2 foot thick granite stone walls under a slate roof.

The cottage of lesChênes offers a lovely base to explore from, but with its pretty south facing garden you may just want to stay 'home'. lesChênes is in an area of mixed woodland, cider apple orchards and farmland and is only 5 minutes to the Vilaine River.

The gite of lesChênes is privately owned and available for holidays or as a house-hunting base, while you search this beautiful area for a cottage of your own.

Nice little house with garden ans welcoming host

We took a 4 days break with my boyfriend at this gite and we had a nice time enjoying the very cute and fonctional house of Melaney who is a welcoming host.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at Les Chenes. The cottage is homely, warm and very well equipped . Melaney and John are very welcoming and it's good to wake up to the peace and quiet of the country and be greeted by the chickens!

We were so fortunate, this property came on the market just as we narrowed our search to this lovely area. We'd admired the house in passing, but it was not for sale, then all of a sudden the 'A VENDRE' board went up ~ right place, right time!

What makes this property unique

Country living but close to so many amenities / locations / attractions. An hour to Brittany's capital Rennes, under an hours flight to UK, two and a half hours on the train to Paris. World renowned golf club 10 minutes drive, more restaurants than are good for you! Only 20 minutes drive to Stunning coast ....
