Relax and enjoy a picturesque sunset after a fun filled day boating, jet skiing or fishing on the beautiful Ohio River, just 30 minutes from Ohio University in Athens, OH. Lodging for up to 6 people in this completely remodeled and updated log cabin. One King and 2 queen beds. This Ohio River Log Cabin is truly breathtaking and sits on 1.5 waterfront acres across from the historic Blennerhassett Island. Belpre boat ramps located across the river. Located only minutes from downtown Parkersburg and a short 15 minute drive to Marietta, OH for a variety of dining and shopping (Uber, Lyft and DoorDash available in the area). Ferry boat ride just minutes away for transportation to the historic Blennerhassett Island where there are horse drawn carriage rides and bike rentals. Upon entering the cabin, you will immediately notice the large open kitchen with white marble countertops, living space and a large deck overlooking the water with the best views. Externally; private boat dock space available, large 2 tiered deck, gas grill and 2 kayaks available for guests. Features DirectTV Cable, security system, Wi-Fi and 3 TVs.

- 2 night minimum required
- Rate is based on 6 person occupancy max. Any additional guests will incur a fee
- Cleaning fee, damage fee and taxes are additional
- No pets allowed

Very relaxing

Perfect boating house right on the river

We love this house, perfect for our family and plenty of room for everyone. The private boat dock on the Ohio river makes for an awesome experience ! We will be back many more times.

Cabin was clean well kept and well stocked very comfortable high quality beds and furniture private dock boat ramp stores and dining all 12 min away or closer check in and out was a breeze Very accommodating rental everything you need is on site This cabin with a private dock is a hidden gem in the rental world I highly recommend

Incredible boating weekend!

I can’t say enough about this beautiful house and the great Ohio river. Sitting on the porch watching the meteor shower was such a great experience. Crystal was such a helpful and kind host, we will definitely be back next year.

Very Nice, Well-Appointed, On the River

I can't say enough about this cabin. Very spacious for the footprint, with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths. Great room was well laid out. Furniture in all rooms was of high quality and not the hand-me-downs some rentals have. Kitchen was stocked with anything required. The owner was very easy to contact and communicate with. Note that only one of the bedrooms has a closet, but not a problem for a short stay. There is no railing in the upstairs loft and that was a bit of a concern with our children. The road into the property declines steeply. Even with 4-Wheel drive we slid off the road partly on the last day out and got stuck after the snow had been driven over and packed down. It was an ice rink. The owner called some neighbors who were able to tow us out and grate up the road bed so it was passable. It was probably a 1 in 100 years situation. All in all, we loved the stay and hope to be back.

Ohio river vacation

The cabin is beautifully decorated, great kitchen. The deck is fantastic with stunning views. We brought our boats and the dock is first class. Plenty of activities in the area.

Beautiful Location on the River - Firepit with a View

This is our 2nd stay here and we love it. This time it wasn't too cold to be outside and we had a nice time around the firepit at night. If you have kids who love to burn stuff, have them gather driftwood from the river front before dark. It burns bright. The owner has added railing to the upstairs loft and we feel safer with the kids now. I do wish there was undercabinet lighting in the kitchen or some sort of light over the sink. And the upstairs half bath mirror should be raised so one can use it . As is it is too low. There were four of us, two adults and 2 little ones. It could be more with 3 bedrooms. With 1.5 baths adults need to time showers but it is manageable. All in all a great place!

Beautiful home with scenic views

This is a three bedroom home, very clean, perfect for a family get away. There is a front and back porch beautiful view of the Ohio River. Fully functioning kitchen and washer and dryer. The owner Is very friendly and kind. I would stay here agian

Great cabin!

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin on the Ohio River. We spent evenings relaxing on the deck watching the river traffic and enjoying the fire pit. Beds were comfortable. Cabin was clean and perfect for our needs. Crystal was great to work with on questions and ease of check in. The only thing we would suggest is additional lighting in all living spaces and a warning of how steep the drive is to reach the cabin. Otherwise we would've given it 5 stars.

Relaxing river retreat

Wonderful getaway with family. Fully enjoyed our time at the cabin. Loved watching the River traffic from the amazing deck. Add in beautiful sunsets and chats around the fire pit- doesn’t get much better. We will be back!
