Why Elle Vickery chose Blairsville

We have been very careful to make sure the house it well equipped, as we don't like to have to worry about bringing too much (and want you to feel the same way!). It really is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the stunning nature that is North Georgia. We are located just 2 miles from Vogel State Park and 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail head on Blood Mountain.

What makes this cabin unique

The view from this house is stunning. You will wake up each day will a calm appreciation for it's beauty. Just 2 hours from Atlanta, this is a whole different world. Our property is just 3 mile from the Appalachian Trail on Blood Mountain.

As lovely and secluded as it is, the house is well located and only 5 minutes from an amazing BBQ restaurant (Jim's Smoking Que - nationally recognized); 15 minutes from a large grocery store ( Ingles, with an impressive selection), a Walmart, Home Depot, many restaurants, a nice public golf course, Meeks Park (tennis, batting cages, Frisbee Golf, walking trails, etc...), a regional Hospital, and much more. Great place to share with Family!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous time at Snaggletooth Ridge! This was the perfect place for 5 adults and 4 kids (three of them teenagers).

One of the first things we look for when renting mountain cabins is a well stocked kitchen. This place was great with plenty of supplies to cook and serve everyone!

Second, the decks out back were awesome! The views were incredible as this house is WAY UP on the mountain! Most of the ladies really enjoyed the hot tub!

This house also has a comfortable "living room" on the main floor with comfortable sofa and chairs. The downstairs game room is where the teen crowd spent a lot of time; playing pool, laying air hockey and watching TV. I am sure they enjoyed getting away from the adults!

This property is so close to so many things folks in our crowd wanted to do including white water rafting, train ride in Blue Ridge Ga, waterfalls, wineries etc.

Lastly , Elle was a real pleasure to work with and was very prompt in replying to any questions we might have had!

Beautiful views

  • 4 of 5

The views from Snaggletooth Ridge were breathtaking. The home allowed for a scenic display of the mountains of Georgia. The home was well maintained and offered ample room for our two families, totaling 10 guests.

I really only had one issue with this home/location. The issue revolves around the drive up and down from the mountaintop home. The drive was challenging for those not used to driving in the mountains of Georgia. Arriving late at night on the first day was intense. I would have to say you should be prepared for the drive up and down the ridge. Luckily there are only a few homes along the road, so oncoming traffic was not an issue when climbing or descending the mountain ridge.

Besides the drive, the location is perfect. There are ample things to do in and around the area. Blairsville is a quaint town, with Lake Nottely near bye. We also enjoyed the ride into Helen, GA for a day of sightseeing and tubing on the Chattahoochee River.

Great stay in N. GA mountains

  • 5 of 5

Two families joined in to share this house for Memorial Day weekend. 4 adults and 5 kids under the age of 10. Worked out perfectly. Plenty of space to spread out in the house, and nearby activities at Vogel and local waterfall hikes.

Beautiful view across the valley when it wasn't raining... and all while sitting in the hot tub on the back deck!

I would DEFINITELY come back to this house!

Only thing to note is that the road approaching the house is VERY steep, so be prepared if you're visiting during wet or icy conditions.

Beautiful home

  • 4 of 5

We had a very relaxing vacation in this wonderful home. It was an adventure getting to the house up the access road but once there it was great. Plenty of room for all and the hot tub was a an added treat after daily hikes on the Appalachian Trail. To be able to get back to the house and soak those tired muscles was heaven. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us. I would definitely recommend this home if you are looking for a relaxing place with a great view.
