About Elle Vickery

This house was purchased as a get away for our Atlanta family. We are fortunate to have 3 generations of immediate family all living within a 3 mile radius in downtown Decatur. We will be renting the house for when we are not using it, and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do!

Elle Vickery purchased this cabin in 2015

Why Elle Vickery chose Northeast Mountains

We have been very careful to make sure the house it well equipped, as we don't like to have to worry about bringing too much (and want you to feel the same way!). It really is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the stunning nature that is North Georgia. We are located just 2 miles from Vogel State Park and 3 miles from the Appalachian Trail head on Blood Mountain.

What makes this cabin unique

The view from this house is stunning. You will wake up each day will a calm appreciation for it's beauty. Just 2 hours from Atlanta, this is a whole different world. Our property is just 3 mile from the Appalachian Trail on Blood Mountain.

As lovely and secluded as it is, the house is well located and only 5 minutes from an amazing BBQ restaurant (Jim's Smoking Que - nationally recognized); 15 minutes from a large grocery store ( Ingles, with an impressive selection), a Walmart, Home Depot, many restaurants, a nice public golf course, Meeks Park (tennis, batting cages, Frisbee Golf, walking trails, etc...), a regional Hospital, and much more. Blairsville is the county seat.

Incredible Views, Incredible Cabin, Incredible Stay

  • 5 of 5

I was originally supposed to stay at Snaggletooth for 4 nights, but I added a 5th night once I checked in and saw the beauty of the property. My rental car was all wheel drive so the steep gravel road to get up there was no problem, and once I came down the driveway and saw the structure of the cabin it took my breath away. The interior was so spacious, with plenty of sleeping space on the 2nd floor and basement in addition to a master bedroom and living room on the main floor. I was attending a wedding in town, and my friends and I were able to spread out and have our own spaces within the cabin without feeling too constricted or in one another's business. The basement's pool table and game room provided ample entertainment to pass the time, and the hot tub overlooking the gorgeous mountain view was a spot of much needed R and R during downtime from the events going on in town. By the final two nights, our obligations had ended, so we were able to spend more time in the cabin and make memories we'll have forever. If I'm ever in Blairsville again I will definitely try to stay here, and I would wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend Snaggletooth Ridge to anyone in the area looking for a private, fun, and visually breathtaking stay in North Georgia.

Snaggletooth Ridge is close to Heaven in North Georgia

  • 5 of 5

The accommodations were exactly what I wanted for our first family get-together since my wife's and my retirement. Enough bedrooms, great parking for all cars, and great games for all when secluded with rain, lots of rain - Playing Pool, reading in HotTub, Air Hockey and Cornhole with my kids, and great Wifi to share a movie with grandson. The views of the Smoky Mountains are magnificent starting with coffee in the mornings to get the day going, and a nice cocktail to complete the day at Dusk and beyond. It was magnificent, and thank you so much for the new paving of much of the road up to Snaggletooth Ridge. It made for an adventurous, but safe ascent and descent to the top of this mountain.

Snaggletooth Ridge is gorgeous and so is the view

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful, well kept cabin with plenty of space and great for the family. Centrally located in N GA so you're within an hour to Helen, Blue Ridge, Dahlonega, Gainesville and more. The view alone is worth it. Our passel of kids had a great time with the downstairs rec room & bunk room for 4. The owner was super responsive to all our questions and needs.

The drive up the mountainside is not for the faint of heart, but we managed it just fine in a mini van...use low gear liberally!
