Lakefront Cottage w / plage privée et coucher de soleil!

Magnifique, lumineux et confortable chalet de cinq chambres situé à seulement 5 km au nord du centre-ville de South Haven et à 14 km au sud de Saugatuck. Superbe lac et coucher de soleil à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Escalier privé descendant à 200 'de la plage privée. Sentez la brise du lac pendant que vous vous détendez sur le canapé de votre véranda. Grillez sur le pont tout en regardant les couchers de soleil les plus époustouflants que vous ayez jamais vus. Une véritable expérience du Michigan!

L'espace

Notre chalet est extrêmement calme et privé. Nous possédons la propriété directement au nord et la maison est complètement inoccupée. Nos locataires sont invités à utiliser la cour et la plage des deux propriétés. La propriété au sud est séparée par des bois denses et est à peine visible de notre maison, ce qui la rend extrêmement privée.

La maison est située sur une falaise avec des escaliers menant à la plage. De la maison, vous pouvez entendre les oiseaux pépier dans la cour et les vagues déferler sur la plage. Vous pouvez également voir les bateaux qui passent. La vue sur le lac est magnifique et les couchers de soleil sont à couper le souffle. C'est vraiment un endroit incroyablement paisible pour se détendre.

Great house, great view of Lake Michigan, and spectacular sunsets. easy access to both Saugatuck and South Haven. Plenty of room for the family. We had a wonderful vacation there.

Lake Michigan beach house

We loved our stay at the beach house close to South Haven and Saugatuck with lots of things to do with the kids. The owners were great and we would definitely go back

Wonderful House on Lake Michigan

This house which is right on Lake Michigan is wonderful. The view in the morning and the sunsets were gorgeous. The owners Courtney and Kevin were so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was close to South Haven, Saugatuck and Holland. Thank you for having such a great place for us to rent.

Amazing views, well decorated interior, good location

The owner reached out to us the week prior to our stay letting us know that the stairs to the private beach had broken due to the uncharacteristically high water levels. I really appreciated her flexibility with us and while we were disappointed we decided we couldn't pass this house up and I'm glad we stuck with the reservation. First part of the week it was 3 adults, a 19 month old, and 3.5 year old. Second part of the week we added in another adult and 4.5 year old twins. Fun was had by all! We drove to multiple beaches as well as a big playground in South Haven and the drive is very easy. We were able to retreat to the backyard in the afternoons and there was ample room for water balloon, squirt gun, and sprinkler fun which the kids (and adults) enjoyed. After kids were down the adults moved to the screened in porch and as sunset approached we moved to the bonfire pit most nights and some of the pictures of the bonfire with the sunset background are amazing! Well decorated interior compared to other lake homes we've stayed in previously. We drove up to Saugatuck for a day trip and that was fun. I could go on but all in all it was a great trip and we're already considering going back next year!

Family Vacation

Great location to downtown South Haven and Saugatuck. We really enjoyed our stay at the house and the view of Lake Michigan was beautiful! The only downfalls were that the grill did not work and the cliff was a little too close for comfort with having kids there. A barrier of some sort would be nice

Perfect Lake Michigan getaway

We have stayed in quite a few rental properties and this one fit our active family of five best. Great location, immaculate property, appreciated amenities, and gracious hosts. The ability to easily visit South Haven or Saugatuck/Douglas were only matched by the treat of seeing the sunset over Lake Michigan from the back deck or comfort of bed. We would eagerly stay here again.

So beautiful!!

Pictures really don't capture the beauty of this property - both the view of the lake and the house itself. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of outdoor seating, very quiet setting. We enjoyed the sound of the lake and the breezes that kept time outside comfortable even when it was hot. The property does have well water, so we were glad we brought plenty of drinking water. Water is kind of stinky when you shower. TV is too outdated to support Netflix or Amazon streaming. Property managers are very responsive to any communication and gave us good recommendations for food. Would choose property again!

All that was advertised and more

We had a great trip. Home was bigger than expected, very clean, kitchen well stocked, beds very comfortable and view spectacular. The deck was great for grilling and we also enjoyed the fire pit and watching nightly sunsets. The owners were great and very communicative. The home was very close to South Haven but also an easy drive to to Saugatuck, Holland and Grand Haven. And all of these areas have a different expenence.

Lake Life

Enjoyed our stay on the lake. Beautiful views and relaxing spot to sit outside on the deck or in the screen in porch. Downtown South Haven is close to go to all the beaches.

Perfect location, beautiful views

Location is unbeatable, close to both South Haven and Saugatuck but quiet and private. Meijer & Walgreens nearby. Owners very responsive and helpful. The house is perfect. It felt like every detail had been thought of - kitchen well stocked, little amenities throughout, comfortable beds, high quality linens, equipped for kiddos under 2 (which is so hard to find!). The views are gorgeous with lots of time spent on the screened in porch and in the hammock. We will definitely be back!

Spectacular views

Although we did not have the best weather, we had a wonderful family getaway. We saw a few fantastic sunsets, had two nights the rain held off so we could have a fire in the fire pit. We had family members coming and going all week long. The home was beautifully decorated, the kitchen was well stocked with tasteful dishes and nice appliances. Bonus refrigerator on the screened porch for beverages or food overflow. The beds were very comfortable with nice linens and pillows. So sad to see the damage from the erosion. The owners were very pleasant and lived in the home next door on the weekends, they asked several times if we needed anything. Hope to rent this home again.

Amazing view of Lake Michigan

Breathtaking views, lovely decor, cozy furniture and plenty of seating for everybody! The owners even thought of little details, such as ring/jewelry holders in the bathrooms, pillows/cushions available for the outdoor seats, and everything needed for cooking. The house was only a 10-minute drive to the downtown area to walk around, North Beach for yoga on the beach, Kids Corner playground, U-Pick blueberry farm, Meijer for groceries, etc.

A lovely stay!

The house is very comfortable and well kept with cozy living room furniture and nice linens. The screened in porch is wonderful. While I hope someday they get their beach back, I could spend hours staring at the expansive view of the lake and it's a mere 10 minutes to North Beach.

Perfect beach cottage for family; well priced; great views; large private beach

We really enjoyed our week here. The views from the house and its back porch are amazing and the private beach is large and nicely framed with trees to feel like no one else is even near. The house is nicely decorated and feels like someone's beach home, not just a rental property, with thoughtful furnishings, a well stocked kitchen, a great laundry room, a great screened room (with a comfy couch) off the side (perfect for morning and evening reading) and a fire pit upstairs and place for a fire at the beach. The owners were incredibly responsive. Do keep in mind that the house has (as is typical for the area) a quite long staircase to get down the bluff to the beach; this one is pretty narrow and quite steep at the bottom. So it wouldn't make much sense for little children or folks with physical limitations. But it's good to work off the vacation snacking and well worth it when you get to the beach or back up to the top. We highly recommend it.
