Nestled in the small village of Martizay, Indre. The surrounding countryside is part of the Brenne national park, also known as the land of a thousand lakes.
The airports of Tours to the north and Poitiers to the west are less than an hour away. The fast train from Paris stops at Chatellerault which is only 20 minutes.
The house is available for all kinds of photographic shoots and select holidays/knees ups, and can easily sleep 12.
The House is the main house on the village square - which also has a boulangerie, antiques shop & Bar/Tabac on it. The village also has a supermarket, boucherie, post office, restaurant and 2 hairdressers!
The house is set over three storeys - the ground floor has a dining room, lounge, bar, and large country style kitchen. The first floor has a bathroom, showeroom and four bedrooms, on which has its own bathroom. The huge attic room has three double beds and its own bathroom. There is a toilet on the ground floor.
There is a secluded courtyard with outside lighting and a fountain.
The house has a large walled garden which is not attached to the house (its a two minute walk away) It has private bank to the River Claise and has excellent course fishing and a canoe.

A great base to explore the Loire Chateaus, the Brenne natural Park, the Touraine wine region and all the delights of rural France.
