Perfect location if you want peace and quiet but close enough to Tumut.
We stayed in the Barn and it had everything we needed and clean. A fire place in it would have made it perfect. Location was amazing and we will certainly be back.
The rental process was problem free and the accomodation was fresh and new.
Brett seemed friendly but a little anxious which put us a little on edge. We were advised that we were not to move the reverse cycle aircon from 22 degrees, not to put too many wet towels on the towel rack and that he didn’t usually rent the place out to families as the upper level was not safe for children and that they have ruined his metal stringers in the past.
We understand this is a new property, but feel it maybe useful to fix the issues in the property (ie. more safety rails in the bathrooms so that the towel rail is not used for support, more towel rails if the current one is not sufficient, a larger more suitable heating/cooling system, safer rails on the upper level or not advertise and rent the property as family friendly), rather than place blame on previous tenants.
All in all a great property for couples with beautiful surrounds.

A great place to stay for work
Our second stay on Brett's properties - the Barn was a fantastic place to stay for a few days while working in the area. Close to Tumut River, Tumut and shops, quiet, clean and nice outdoor areas to relax after work. Brett is a helpful and friendly owner and happy to provide information about the area. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at the barn, a great place for a family or a small group with everything you need to relax and cook up a storm or just take it easy by the beautiful Tunut river. Our host Brett was great and made us welcome and comfortable in some pretty hot weather and would return for sure !
