This open and bright beach bungalow is perfectly located 1 block from Tamarack Surf Beach (part of Carlsbad State Beach) in Carlsbad Village-by-the-Sea. It's an easy walk to get your feet in the sand, improve your surfing skills or to just enjoy the ocean waves. It's also a brief 20 minute walk from the house to enjoy the restaurants, shopping, pubs / bars and nightlife downtown in the village. If you're looking for a really delicious meal walk to the end of our street and you'll find Vigilucci's Seafood & Steakhouse for a scrumptious meal and glass of wine where you can relax and watch the sunset directly across the street. Looking to stay at home and relax on the porch while watching the sunset after a day at the beach or strolling across the boardwalk or walking around the village? The house is fully equipped for all your cooking needs - including a BBQ and outdoor seating in our huge fully fenced back yard.

This beach bungalow getaway is setup to be casual and comfortable with sleeping for 7. The master bedroom has a cal-king bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, and the detached sunroom has a bunk bed (twin on top and full on bottom). There are large Smart TVs in every room and the whole house was WIFI over high-speed internet, there's even a workspace set up in case you have to squeeze in a bit of work.

Wake up and walk into the village to experience some of the best beach breakfast spots in town with Naked Cafe, Daily News Cafe, Cafe Elysa, Swami's Cafe, Don's Country Kitchen, Shorehouse and more.

Sandy beaches stretch across several miles with the adjacent 'boardwalk' which is perfect for walking alongside the beach. Excellent surfing can be found at Tamarack just down the street from the bungalow with a number of other famous surf spots very nearby. Paddle boarding is also popular at this beach as well as fishing in the adjacent lagoon. The house has an outdoor shower so you can enjoy all the outdoor activities and get an easy rinse off when you're done. We've got tons of beach gear to make it all easy for you to enjoy your stay!

This remodeled 1950s bungalow is beautiful inside and out and located on a quiet, safe cul-de-sac street. It's setup with linens, towels, bedding, basic supplies and a well-equipped kitchen for this to be your home away from home. His and Hers beach cruiser bikes as well as bikes for littles, a surf board, boogie board and a skim board are included for your enjoyment. There is plenty of parking with the garage, a long, wide driveway as well as street parking. The garage also has a washing machine and dryer to conveniently keep your clothes washed the way you like them. When the need arises there is also climate control with central air conditioning as well as ceiling fans throughout the house. The detached sunroom also has dedicated heat and AC as well as a ceiling fan. An outdoor gas BBQ can also be enjoyed in the back yard.

HOW FAR TO BEACH? Only a few minutes’ walk / 1 block away from Tamarack / Carlsbad State Beach! Carlsbad Blvd/PCH and Tamarack is the closest major intersection to the bungalow. This is perfect beach for families, surfing and body surfing! No rocks, plenty of clean sand and lots of public parking as well!
