Whether you are on holiday with the family, working remotely or simply unwinding, this property caters for all needs.



The entire upstairs level is dedicated to a large bright and air-conditioned bedroom with its own balcony, including an ensuite with separate shower and bathtub, built in wardrobes and chaise lounge. The main living and dining areas are bathed in natural light. The sitting room has a period fireplace adding to the charm with original artwork and antique pieces. A separate study with extra bed complete this spacious home. There is a private courtyard garden perfect for a BBQ or end of day gin and tonic.

Comfortable Home Away from Home

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Elanora House while visiting family nearby! Very clean, comfortable, warm (we were there during a cold & wet winter!), well laid out home, nestled in lovely greenery, easy walk to a nice little beach. Only downside was a lack of any pantry staples for cooking, but we were able to buy some from nearby grocery stores. We hope to stay there again sometime!

Wohnen wie Sydneysider

Die Doppelhaushälfte im Villenviertel Vaucluse hat zwei sehr geräumige Schlafzimmer, ein nettes Wohnzimmer und eine großzügige Küche, alles sauber und ordentlich. Einen Stern weniger gibt es aus zwei Gründen: dieses Feriendomizil als 3-bedroom-villa zu führen ist nicht gerechtfertigt, das dritte Schlafzimmer ist eher ein begehbarer Schrank mit Fenster, das Hochbett hat keinen Meter Abstand zur Decke, was für meinen ausgewachsenen Bruder ein Problem war, auch weil es ziemlich warm werden konnte da oben. Für einen Zehnjährigen mag das recht lustig sein, aber es ist definitiv kein Schlafzimmer für einen Erwachsenen. Und das zweite Minus: die Unmöglichkeit, eine akzeptable Temperatur in den Duschen zu erreichen - entweder zu heiß oder zu kühl (zumindest zum Haarewaschen braucht es warmes Wasser), und beides mit wenig Druck. Abgesehen davon haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen, Auto ist nicht notwendig, Busse und Fähren sind zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten erreichbar, für Großeinkäufe kann man sich ein Taxi leisten, und wenn nicht gerade Feiertage und Ferien sind (wir waren vom 24.12.-2.1. da), ist die Versorgung vor Ort mit Restaurants und Geschäften sehr gut.
