Winter Get Away

The property was just as described. It was so quiet and peaceful, a very relaxing place to be. We loved the large screened porch.

A serene and shaded retreat

This rental property was perfect for our family get together. The setting is very pleasant--a large property with plenty of grass, mature trees, a quiet pond, and a sense of being in nature. If you are looking for clean comfort rather than glitz or a relentlessly hot and sunny beach location, this is a great choice. The home is not fancy, so it's a good place to stay if you are looking for value and comfort rather than luxury. We enjoyed the airy, spacious feel of the house, and the large enclosed porch. The kitchen was appropriately stocked with plenty of dishes, cutlery, etc., and all the appliances worked fine. We were allowed access to the pool, which was wonderfully cool and refreshing. Lauraine was friendly and welcoming, the horses were an appealing backdrop to our stay, and overall this was a great value and a wonderful spot for a family to stay.

The price was okay

The setting is very peaceful and serene with horses in the pasture. We had a pool but it was not heated so we couldn’t swim but they had plenty of chairs to sit and lay out on. There was plenty of bedrooms for our family of 8. We did have some problems with tiny ants on the counters and floors. And overall the house could have been cleaner. We did enjoy our stay but not sure if we would stay in that house again because of the things I mentioned and also bathrooms were very tiny with not a lot of counter space. The owners are very friendly and outgoing.
