La comunidad de Solterra Resort está ubicada a solo 15 minutos de Walt Disney World, a 30 minutos del aeropuerto internacional de Orlando y cerca de todas las mejores atracciones de Orlando. Several items not working

Mixed feelings on this property. The biggest plus was the many private bedroom/bathroom combos and the size of the house. The house needs a deep cleaning and some repairs. We were pretty disappointed that several gaming elements we wanted (part of the reason we booked the property!) were not even working. The air hockey table and both arcade games were broken when we got there. Property manager was pretty nonresponsive. Said they wound send someone to fix the one arcade game (the other had a shattered screen and the screen “was back ordered for months”). Also said maintenance would come and fix the air hockey table. Maintenance looked at these items and said they would come back the next day to repair. They never showed. Multiple emails and calls were not returned for the remainder of our stay. Xboxes in the game room are missing remotes. My 8 year old niece cut her foot pretty badly on a piece of shattered glass that was on the front porch. An older member in our group injured their foot on a loose nailhead that was sticking up on the wooden stairs. One of the bathroom door upstairs doesn’t even shut. Overall I would say the family had a good time but we have a good time wherever we go! Would not book this house again.

This home is accommodating for a large group!

This home is definitely for a large family/group. The home is in need of a deep cleaning and was not to my family’s standards. I’ve had other rentals that were impeccable so I was disappointed in the lack of attention on the upkeep of the home. The bathrooms had visible black mildew in showers/tubs & some toilets. The shower curtains were all mildewed. We tried washing them to no avail. The floors and carpets need to be cleaned thoroughly!!! Touch up paint is needed throughout the home…baseboards and walls especially!!! Furniture in common area is extremely worn/broken and needs to be retired. Game room and pool table needs to be overhauled. None of the pool sticks had tips on them so not very useful. If these issues are addressed this home would be stellar. Hopefully, the property owners will take note and make the needed changes to protect their investment.

Awesome family vacation

There were a few hiccups before we got checked in but that was due to the people who had the place before us. Bethany and the property manager kept in constant communication with us and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. The house was beautiful and big, we had lots of space for everyone to be comfortable. I loved that it was also accommodating for infants. Thank you Bethany and to your property manager for making sure we had everything we needed!

Huge house perfect for large groups, private pool a big bonus

This was half a work trip for me and for a least a couple of days we were a large group who filled most of the bedrooms. There was never a time when the house felt crowded. 14 beds and 12 baths means privacy for most and that was appreciated. The kids loved the themed rooms. The beds were amazing. Best I've probably slept on at the houses we've stayed at. My main group stayed for about 2 and a half weeks and everyone said the beds were heavenly. The pool was warm and cared for on a weekly basis. LOVED that trash was taken away daily if you put it out before 6 am. The game rooms were impressive. We played pool. The kids had plenty of places to escape to from the adults. There is some wear and tear to the house, but nothing that would stop me from renting it again. The internet is spotty. We chose the house because it was close to where our conference was, but the location worked fine for going to the parks. I'm the type to scour reviews before I rent a place so I'll address some what I saw in the others. Parking: We easily parked three cars in the driveway. We asked for the passes when we checked in and were told we could have gotten 5. The additional 2 would have parked on the street. Street parking. . .well, that would depend on who your neighbors are. Since we were there for more than two weeks we saw a couple of groups of people come and go. Week one was horrible. There was no on-street parking. It was often nearly impossible to drive down the street to our house. We heard that football teams were staying at the resort. I don't know who the roaming groups of teens were but they had no respect for people. They filled the streets in groups of 30 or so and banged on cars that tried to get by them. It was -- unsettling. We tried to use the lazy river that week and it was equally rowdy. They played football over the heads of people, didn't care if they were crashing into the older ladies in our group and in general made the resort feel unsafe. However, they left. Week 2 was peaceful both on the streets and at the clubhouse and lazy river. So I have two impressions of the resort. Had I only been there for week 2 I would only have great things to say about it. Parking was easily available after that first week and if I hadn't been there week 1 I would probably consider buying a property of my own there. Would I rent there again? Absolutely. The owner, the staff, and most of the people we met there were very nice.

Mediocre

The couches have hair and dirt on it in the living room. The toilet have residue in it the bathtub and showers have residue in it. The carpet floors have hair dirt and one room has a fingernail in it. The night stands and countertops are dirty. There is dirt on the floor where the island is and it is sticky on the floor where it looks like a drink was spilled. The doors have stains on them and the handles on the door has stains. There is hair in the dryer upstairs. The refrigerator has stains on the handle. One of the rooms had fingerprints on the wall. All of the walls in the rooms need to be wiped down. All of the bathroom mirrors are dirty. Bathroom floors need to be swept. One of the comforters are dirty in the kids room. There is a crack in door upstairs. Carpets need to be vacuumed. In the frozen room there is a hole in the floor.Two dirty towels in the bathroom. Shower curtain is filthy and dirty upstairs needs to be replaced. Island is dirty with crumbs. Crumbs and food stains on the floor in the kitchen. Crumbs in backyard patio area. Roaches crawling out of the kitchen sink. Housekeeping was provided the next day but it still was not clean to standards

Great Family Trip

We rented this property for a Disney family vacation. We had about 32 people in our party, and we were all very comfortable as we all had our own space. The kids had a blast in the pool and game room. The house was perfect for everything we needed. My only negative issues would have to be parking. You're allowed 2cars on the street and 3 in the driveway, but other renters don't abide, and you find yourself fighting for spaces. however, it was not an everyday battle. Overall, we had a great time and a great stay, I would definitely stay again.

We had a great time!... house is as advertised, roomy, comfy, fun, resort had nice pool and lazy river...however, the parking issue caused us lots of stress. You can only have 5 cars: a house with 14 bedrooms would frequently have have more than 5 cars at any given time. We had to park one car off site 3 miles away, which was no ok.

Family Gathering

Our family takes a trip every year. We have over 30 total, kids and adults of all ages. The house was very nice, it was big enough to meet all our needs, and the kids loved the pool. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we liked having two sets of washers and dryers, as well as two dish washers. I could not give this property a 5 due to the problems we had with parking. We were not told until check in that only 5 vehicles could part at the property, and we had 7 cars, this was very stressful because we witnessed people having their cars towed. Also, our trash was not removed during our entire stay. There are also many items in the house that were broken which the property manager promised we would not be held responsible for. I would recommend this property but wanted people to be informed about the parking issue.

Great size but not clean

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the home in Davenport with a few hiccups. When we first came in, the house did not smell of any cleaner, and unfortunately none of the walls or hard surfaces such as the bannisters were cleaned. There were still towels in the dryer and towels in the washing machine. The toilets had tape as if they were cleaned and unfortunately there were still visible dirt rings in the toilet. I had to use cleaning supplies to wipe everything down. The linens were clean at least. The showers have visible mildew on the tracks, look to not have been deep cleaned in several months. I contacted the hosts and someone was sent back thankfully to finish the laundry and tend to the toilets, but it was an overall poor cleaning job when the rental comes with such a high cleaning fee. The wifi was pretty terrible, there's no way to have everyone play the game system simultaneously with the strength of the wifi once everyone comes to the home and connects their devices. I likely wouldn't recommend attempting to stay here if you need to work from home and need a strong signal. There were two refrigerators two dishwashers two washer and dryers which was incredibly helpful. Just buy your own detergent. House came with a starter dish soap sponge and under the cabinet was dishwasher detergent. The grill was set with propane as we requested but hadn't been cleaned in so long we had to clean it because the fire was so low cooking was a struggle the first night. The grill should be maintained with the rest of the property There were broken doors/holes in a few spots/ several stains on the carpets. The home just needs a massive deep cleaning as I'm sure it is a popular rental property that is worn down. We did find small roaches in the drawer with the dish towels and by the couch which was alarming. You get a starter paper towel and one roll of toilet paper per restroom but any rental over three days you will need to purchase more of both. Hand soap in the bathrooms was provided. Ample towels and wash cloths provided. Pool was serviced the day before we left with cleaning treatment. All and all we had a good time and everyone had their own room. Sound system in the Aladdin living-room was perfect for game night.

Family reunion perfection

We had so much fun staying here! Sure there are things that need fixing, but the house was cool, comfortable and SO fun!! The neighborhood pool, backyard pool and all the fun amenities inside the house made up for any parking annoyances. The owner and property manager were both great to work with and the mattresses were all very comfortable! We loved our stay!!

Amazing Home

My family and I stayed here a week for a mini family reunion. it was 36 of us and we had a blast, the house looks exactly like the photos, the bedrooms are large and roomy. The house was very clean and in pretty good condition, a few scratches and nicks but overall it was in great condition. The kids loved the game room, movie theater, and pool table. The pool was great as well. We had a wonderful time at this house and we plan to return.

We had a great time. Some items needed fixing. Other units were not abiding by quiet hours. Other units were not parking properly. Otherwise, it was a great experience.

Spring Break/Easter

Property was amazing ! Only minor issue was trash pick up however our stay was during Spring Break/Easter. Our family will be booking again when in the Orlando area!

WOW! You Won't Be Disappointed!

We travel a lot and always rent vacation homes. This one topped the list of our all time favorites! Very clean, very spacious and the owners were so great to work with. In our group there were (5) families and we all felt like we had space and privacy. Plenty of room for kids of different age groups to gather and have their own space while the adults still had space and time to themselves. I'd recommend this home 100 times over and will stay here on future trips to the Orlando area. Thanks!!
