Bathroom for this bedroom is across the hall and is also guest bath with quartz counter and shower. Third bedroom is mid-century modern inspired with a clean design, queen bed, walk in closet and private bathroom. Sliding glass doors lead you to the fire-pit/pool area.

A great place to vacation

We came for spring break with our 3 kids. The house was beautiful and well kept. We spent most of our time out at the pool and spa. There were plenty to spots to sit or lounge and relax. Great views of the mountains and walking distance to several breakfast places. The water pressure is not great but that’s the only thing I could note to improve upon. Otherwise the hosts were very responsive, the house was as advertised and we will stay here again when we come back!

We stayed at this property for our Palm Springs girls trip in early March. The house was incredible! Everything was beautifully updated, clean, and very comfortable. The mountain view from this house was incredible. We spent as much time as possible outside by the fire pit, pool, and hot tub admiring everything. The drive to downtown was very easy, but we had a hard time wanting to leave the house! The owners were very nice and very accommodating! We loved everything about our stay here.

Fantastic Palm Springs House

We had a wonderful stay: the house was absolutely as advertised. The pool was wonderful in the winter and heats exceptionally well, as does the hot tub. Great grill for cooking, wonderful bedrooms, amazing great room. Would definitely stay here again. One of our top rentals ever

Gorgeous property but...

The house and yard and pool are lovely and we had a wonderful time at the Prickly Pear property. The *only* thing we wish was changed was the beds. The mattresses are terribly uncomfortable - lumpy, very soft and seem to be very old with foam pads added to mask the lumpiness. We had to get home again to get a good night's sleep.

Canadian retreat

This home met and exceeded our expectations. The house is exactly as the pictures indicate, first class, homey and comfortable. It is fully stocked with towels, linen and all the kitchen utensils you would need. Laundry facilities are modern and clean with ample supplies of detergent and cleaners. The house is modern and contemporary, we were eager to welcome company and guests. The pool area is outstanding, in sun all day with plenty of umbrellas for shade and lounges to relax on. The neighborhood is a nice quiet area. Having rented before, a high priority for us is that things work and if a problem occurs it gets repaired quickly.....Well, everything works beautifully and if there is a glitch Mike the owner and Rebecca his daughter are all over it. Their response is fantastic! We’ve rented twice, for two weeks and then a month both great experiences.... we’ll be back!

Beautiful home for our family of five!

The house and the hosts were absolutely fantastic. This house has incredible views, beautiful pool and hot tub and is clean and spacious. Impeccably furnished. Centrally located to downtown and numerous local hikes. Rebecca and Mike were available to answer all questions we had. We absolutely loved it!

Lovely home with all the amenities near downtown.

We had a great stay here. The pictures accurately depict this beautiful home about 2.5 miles from downtown Palm Springs. It worked very well for 3 couples and had a well equipped kitchen. Even though the house is on a main street it was very quiet with very little traffic. The yard is set up so that you can always be sitting in the sun and the pool and sauna were set up for easy use. Not much more to say other than I recommend this house for a stay in the desert.

When can we come back??!!!

The pictures don't do this place justice! Gorgeous house, well appointed, and good vibes throughout. The place was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. The perfect sized house for 6. Landscaping and outdoor areas were expertly done and the mountain views.....WOW! Now on to the owners- they could not have been nicer, more accessible, or more accommodating! We were by no means high maintenance guests, but there were a few special requests made and the hosts were beyond accommodating and understanding to all of them. My housemates and I are already planning our next visit. Snatch this place up before someone else can...because we plan to tell all of our friends about it! :) Thanks again to the hosts for an awesome vacation!!

JULY 4TH WEEKEND GETAWAY

Spent the holiday weekend at this great house. They have everything you need. House is very well taken care of with all the amenities. Yard is spacious with a great pool and jacuzzi. Definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again. I would recommend check-in to be a little earlier and check-out should definitely be at least 12 noon.

Prickly Pear exceeded our expectations! The home looks better in person, photos don't do justice to this modern Oasis. Close to shops and restaurants in a nice safe area. I definitely recommend it.

Loved the Prickly Pear

We had the pleasure of staying at the Prickly Pear for Modernism week 2017. It is a sizable home with lots of natural light, modern amenities and comfortable beds. Loved that it had the 60's Racquet Club vibe and architecture, but with large rooms and new, modern amenities. Bathrooms are stocked with plenty of fluffy white towels and the living space was well appointed with fun touches and furnishings. The owners were super responsive to any questions we had. We would def stay there again!

Amazing modern house for relaxing recharge!

We were one of the first to stay in this beautiful house overlooking the mountains! Everything in the house is brand new and immaculate. The finishes and style is super cool and an amazing place to spend some quiet days getting away from it all. It was very easy to interact with the owners to confirm all the necessaries to get into the property and everything was easy to understand. The outside area is amazing with hot tub and pool that quickly heats up as needed.....and also a great gas fireplace inside and firepit outside. The space is very private and would be perfect for a small group of friends or family. The house is easily large enough for 3 couples. We had just 4 people in total. For this location, you do need a car - it's about 5 mins to the supermarket and downtown and 15 to the airport. Walking is ok but it takes around 30-45 mins to walk into downtown. There is a free bus service too, though we didn't try it. Would definitely go back. Very clean, well equipped and amazing view! Thanks for such a well prepared space!

Incredible Resort Style Home!

Incredible Modern home with all the amenities. Great pool and Spa with comfortable lounge chairs and patio furniture to enjoy the outdoors. Spacious floor plan and super clean. Top of the line kitchen appliances and washer/dryer. Lots of stores and activities just a few miles away! We definitely plan on staying again!

Absoutley awesome home!!

We are a family of 6 that loved our few days at this home! The layout is fantastic...beds were super comfy and the open concept living/dining space is perfect for family time. Lots of towels provided, and super clean! Coming from raining Vancouver, the highlight for us was the back yard! The pool and hot tub combo was perfect. Having the fabulous view of the mountains as you are sitting soaking up the Palm Springs sun was just what we needed! Ty was fantastic! Always got back to me with any questions I had. Was probably one the best Vacation homes we are ever stayed at! We will be back for sure.

Wonderful stay at the Prickly Pear in Palm Springs!

House was everything the pictures showed and more! Great space and nice furnishings. All the amenities were of good quality and the owners were very accommodating! The Pool and Hot tub heat was easily maintained and the fire pit was a nice added feature to this home. After renting a home like this one, I don't think we will want to ever consider a hotel for all of us. We hope to stay here again in the future! Just some reminders for the owners, the home was great otherwise!.....Upon arriving, the trash can in the Master was not emptied (just wasn't sure if the rest of the bath had been sanitized), and the concrete floors might have needed a washing, as our white socks were soiled easily when walking around the home. I would have liked to also see a woman's makeup mirror left in the master bath....This is just a personal request, as one can make do without one, but it would have been nice when getting ready to go out for the evening. You will love this place!

Amazing home!

We recently stated at this home and had a tremendous time! The home was as beautiful as it looks in the pictures, well designed, and had beautiful mountain views. The property managers were also easy to work with. We were a short walk from the main downtown area. I would definite recommend this property!

We'll be back!

We stayed for four nights in February for our first trip to Palm Springs. We loved the house especially the outdoor area. We spent most of the time in the pool and hot tub. The home is furnished beautifully and has a great layout. We spent evenings around the fire and drank coffee on the patio in the morning. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with everything we needed. Our one complaint is the sun rises early and the sun shades block only partially block the light. There were a bunch of restaurants in the area, pickleball courts nearby and drove out to Joshua tree for the day. The grocery stores were about 15 minutes from the house so plan accordingly. The owners were easy to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We're already planning a return trip for next year.
