This spacious beach house is ideal for two families or a group of friends holidaying together, offering plenty of space, privacy, and great shared areas. The home features five bedrooms across multiple levels, including a downstairs bunkroom with its own bathroom and a self-contained flat with a Queen bed and ensuite—perfect for teenagers, extended family, or guests wanting their own retreat. This lower level also includes a TV area set up for a PlayStation, making it a great kids’ zone.

Upstairs, the light-filled living areas open onto a large front deck with lovely coastal views. This level also includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a master bedroom with an ensuite. With five TVs throughout the home, WiFi and Foxtel, there’s plenty of entertainment for everyone.

Enjoy outdoor living on the back deck with a ping pong table and a 4-burner hooded gas BBQ, ideal for relaxed family meals. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine, while a front-loader washing machine and dryer add convenience for longer stays. A double garage provides secure parking.

Located within easy walking distance to Home Beach and the local pub, this comfortable and well-equipped holiday home accommodates up to eight adults and is perfectly set up for a relaxed beach getaway.

Fantastic family holiday

We had a wonderful stay and the house was perfect for our stay. When at home the kids could entertain themselves downstairs and the adults had plenty of space upstairs to relax.

Long winter weekend at Straddie

Well equipped home with lovely views, close to everything we needed. Two families (ten people in total) were comfortable here, we would definitely stay again if possible.

Great for large groups but for price needs some simple upgrades.

Excellent balcony, beautiful view and large living areas. Internet and Foxtel provided. Plenty of beds, cookware, plates for large groups. It was quite dusty and not cleaned well. Some of the rooms get very hot as you can't leave the door open because they aren't secure and can be accessed from the road. The fans provided aren't effective and the curtains are sheer so let a lot of morning sun in.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property had a good layout particularly for two families with the downstairs kitchen proving useful. The property was reasonably well stocked with utensils, movies, books etc. And has a great collection of boardgames. However, there was a high amount of broken items such as multiple faulty sliding doors, missing door handles, broken main tv, broken oven door etc. Also there was a fairly severe cockroach issue particularly downstairs.

The bunk bed was not super comfortable. The house was in a great location though the driveway was very steep and not practical for parking a car in the garage. The house was lacking in cleanliness in some areas. Under the beds and couches were particularly dirty. A backyard would have been well utilised as we had young children staying. Overall, we did enjoy our stay at this properly.
