Adequate townhouse and convenient location

This place met our needs; four seniors, not needing many fancy features. The stairs to second floor were long - had not taken that into consideration when booking - but we handled it. For a 3 week stay, we found ourselves washing dishes by hand often, rather than using the dishwasher; quantity of dishes and silverware could have been a bit more - we ate most meals at home. The resort and clubhouse and pool were lovely. Great place to walk. The private pool was small, but a nice oasis - mostly quiet neighborhood. Initially, we had trouble getting the bedroom TVs to work (even the maintenance man was puzzled!), but we eventually figured it out...an instruction 'how to' list would have been welcome at the first. Overall, this townhouse served our purposes. A few cosmetic touches would freshen it up, but it was clean and in working order. Beds were good...lots of pillows. The nightly racoon visit to the garbage box taught us to not put the garbage out until morning...we bought extra trash bags...but the owner could hardly be responsible for that! Overall, a good experience.

Unhappy after 8 years.

Our rental was dirty when checked in….. trash was left in the bin and was torn all inside with bugs everywhere. The downstairs bathroom Had little bugs all day ltge time…around the sink. ( I have photos). The linens and pillows are disgusting. The property looks unkept and old. We have stayed at Windsor Palms many times and have never encountered a problem.

Horrible smoke smell

Upon entering the home, we were immediately met with an intense smoke odor. The upstairs hallway carpet was soaking wet. In addition, two of the sets of sheets on the beds had hairs and/or crusted material on them. The property manager did bring fresh linen but was unable to take care of the soaked carpet or the smoke smell. Sadly, all my clothes and luggage smelled like smoke upon my return home. We were not offered any discount or refund.

The guest immediately prior to your arrival had smoked in the house and had also caused a problem upstairs. We tried to remediate the issues but were unable to before your arrival and - because of the post-pandemic rush of guest staying, there was no alternate place to move you to. We hope that you'll come back and stay with us again soon. We apologize for the delay in response, but we didn't see your review due to a technical issue.

Blinds were missing you could see straight threw. Waited an hour at front because guard said property was not rent to anyone.

Hi Arvetta Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you had a problem with the guard at the gate. You had been pre-registered, but their system was not correctly displaying the entry log. Unfortunately, we don't control the guard house at the resort, but only manage individual homes there. The vertical blinds in the family room leading out to the pool are a constant problem. They seem to fall and break at the slightest touch. We have asked the owner to replace them with something more robust, but until they do, we will continue to replace the individual slats as soon as we are able to. We hope that you'll come back to visit again soon! Please remember that you can receive a returning guest discount and save money the next time you book and stay in any vacation home from VillaDirect.

Cleanliness was an issue

The home was nice, pictures show exactly How the property looks inside. Cleanliness was an issue. The bed on the main floor of the home had hair between the sheets i took pictures and videos for proof. I stripped all beds and washed the sheets and blankets for safety due to Covid On Monday i finally got a call because it was the weekend,the property manager made me aware that they had an emergency line i should’ve called for the issue and she apologized for the inconvenience that’s it. The patio door did not lock, and the screens were busted in the pool area which would’ve given anyone easy access into the property. No dish detergent present so we just brought it with our own cleaning supplies. Other than those small issues the home was nice and in a great location minutes from Disney

Very clean and excellent location.

Townhouse is located in a nice gated community. It's a short walk to the community clubhouse. I really enjoyed the free movies. The townhouse was very clean and we had everything we needed. Location is excellent. It's very close to restaurants, shopping and especially the Disney properties.
