Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with stunning views

Our light and spacious apartment is located in the historical town of Ayen, famous for the knight templars and its night farmers market. This 2 bedroomed apartment, each with en-suite shower rooms, has front line stunning views overlooking the valley and the surrounding countryside. Recently renovated and redecorated to a high standard, the Bellevue apartment is comfortable and well equipped, ideal for 2 couples or a family of 4.

The apartment comprises of a large entrance with separate WC leading to a light and spacious living area with stunning views over the valley. Bedroom 1 has a double bed with a memory foam mattress, views over the valley and en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2 has a king size bed with a memory foam mattress, en-suite bathroom and a small terrace ideal for breakfast and evening aperitifs. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine. Electric heating. Towels, high quality bedding, coffee and biscuits supplied.

Beautiful as promised

The view is breathtaking. An unbelievable setting in the countryside. The apartment is conveniently located and easy to find, not far from other towns. The bedrooms, each with their own bathroom are roomy and very comfortable. The kitchen has new appliances and is well stocked with amenities. The open living and dining area is also quite nice, clean, and not cluttered with things. There are maps and guides for use. The TV has a DVD player. Bring your own DVDs if you want something to watch. It has an HDMI cable, I hooked my computer to it to watch Netflix and Prime. The WC is a little tight, though many are in Europe, and it is situated right next to the front door. Though there are apartments above, then noise is minimal, and the neighborhood is quiet and calm. Many of the stores were closed when we arrived because it was spring break. It's a small town, that was affected by covid, so many stores were vacant. We traveled to nearby towns for food and cafés. Hosts are lovely, and provide excellent information. They are not far away if you ever need them. All in all, quite excellent!

My husband and I have enjoyed the Correze for the last 15 years due to its beautiful countryside, rich history, amazing cuisine and accessibility. Having run a letting business many years ago, we decided to purchase a property in Ayen and let it out using our vast experience on what people are looking for on holiday.

Our apartment which has recently been completely refurbished and redecorated is light and spacious with stunning views over the valley. It's location in the historical village of Ayen makes it easy to visit the Correze and the Dordogne due to it being located on the Dordogne border.
