Great weekend ski gateway

We stayed at the house while skiing at Gore. The house is in immaculate condition and has all the amenities. Great location in the center of Warrensburg with several delicious restaurants and close to Lake George for more food and activities. The hosts were fantastic and made our stay easy and relaxing. Spacious and remote

Stay was great! Host was super communicative and the house is adorable. Loved the open kitchen plan as well as the back deck area. Remote for privacy but close to downtown!

New Years Ski

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the New Year. The place was clean, spacious, and close to the ski mountain. Good Wifi and TV had all the pay channels. Highly recommend this place for family and group gatherings. Looking forward to staying here again.

Nice, can accommodate large gatherings

House is nice, large and can handle 10+ - it is as described. It is close to Lake George/Bolton Landing - easy to get to - like a mile off IS 87 - I would recommend and/or go back!

Amazing getaway

This house is perfect for a large family/friends getaway. Plenty of space for everyone. Nice outdoor space for eating and grilling. We brought our classic car for a car show and loved having a garage to store the car to keep it out of the weather. The property manager was very responsive to questions and very helpful. I would give the place 10 stars if I could.

Great house and hosts !

Spacious house, well equipped, lovely back yard! Hosts were extremely nice and helpful! AC units in every room keep the house cool but a bit noisy. Unfortunately located in a very run down neighbour hood, which you won’t really see from the beautiful porch!

Fall fun!

Cute little river town. Easy to find location. Really only 15 minutes away from Lake George. The house was plenty big enough for 7 people... so 10 would be easy. The kitchen has everything you needed. (Suggestion... maybe put labels on drawers of items in drawers) Everything was super clean and comfortable. We even had a couple deer friends visiting. Definitely worth the trip! The kids are already planning for next year.

Nice Getaway

The house is a well renovated colonial with front porch, nice rear deck, and fun fire pit which was well received. The detached garage held games such as foosball and table tennis. Dried firewood in the garage served to supply the fire pit with adirondack chairs in a generous stoned circle. The house has a great well supplied kitchen with all amenities, a large tabled dining room, nice family room, laundry, and generously sized bedrooms. We truly enjoyed the house, grilling on the Weber grill, relaxing watching the Roku TV's, and enjoying the wonderful fire pit. The house is located on a street where other properties appeared to be in disrepair. The house has privacy and the neighborhood houses were not an issue. Owner has no control over the other houses which need repair. Very enjoyable house which was a much appreciated retreat for the family, partner, children, and grandchildren. No negative issues about this house and property.

Great getaway

Best VRBO house we have stayed in!

This house was fabulous! It is beautifully decorated and so well stocked! The attention to detail was incredible. Cooking was really great in the kitchen with the huge island or on the grill. The fire pit was a real hit with our family, which included 6 adults, 2 school age kids and a baby. We were close to everything we wanted to do in Lake George without being on top of the tourist and commercial hub, which was terrific. We could enjoy the quiet surroundings of the house. Although the neighborhood seems a little less desirable, this house is secluded in a beautiful setting. All the people we spoke to in Warrensburgh were nice and helpful. This house was truly the best one we have stayed in for a family vacation!

Clean Home Close to Lake George

This home was clean and great for a large group. We had 9 girls stay for a weekend trip. It has great proximity to Lake George, ranging from 10-20 minutes depending on where you are going on the lake. The neighborhood is definitely iffy. The drive in isn't the most scenic one and the neighborhood itself isn't well maintained, but we never felt unsafe. Which, for a group of young women, is important. The house itself is the nicest in the general vicinity. Great access to local grocery stores, gas stations, takeout, etc if you need something quick for a night in. Phil was great to communicate with and was attentive when we needed some questions answered about the house. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely Home

The house was great! Plenty of room for everyone. The front porch and fire pit area were big hits. If we could only move the property to a different location outside of that neighborhood it’d be perfect.

This house was everything we asked for and more. Plenty of space, comfortable sleeping arrangements, great accommodations. The house was close enough to surrounding entertainment (15ish minutes to lake george). highly recommend this place

Book this place with your eyes closed

This house has been one of the best places I've ever rented. Plenty of space for a large group. The main three rooms are upstairs (one bathroom with a bathtub), and four beds on the first floor next to another bathroom (shower). The kitchen is pretty big and it has every and any appliance you can think of, and basic stuff like teas and spices as well. You can also find ping-pong and foosball tables in the garage, lots of fun. I'm sure this house is very popular in the winter because of its location and coziness, but we rented it in the summer and it worked perfectly too. From 10 to 15 mins to Lake George Village (their downtown basically) on one side and just a few minutes for groceries on the other side of town. I really can't say much about communication with hosts because there were no issues at all, but they were very attentive before the trip, and right as we arrived, making sure we knew they were available for any concerns. Overall, a great experience and a great house.

Clean and comfortable home

There were 10 of us in our party ranging from five years old and up. The house was extremely clean upon arrival and was just as the pictures showed. The kitchen was spacious and had everything you could need for a stay. We really liked having a large table to gather at as well as the outdoor patio space. The three bedrooms upstairs are all very comfortable and quite large. It was nice having the kids/bunk bedroom room downstairs. Everyone enjoyed playing games in the large garage. The outdoor space was well-maintained and the fire pit and chairs were a nice touch. Location proximity to Lake George is about a 10 to 12 minute car ride. The road leading up to the house has some rundown homes on it, however, they are not visible from the house. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend.
