White Heron Cottage ha sido totalmente renovado con aire acondicionado, pisos de madera, muebles recién pintados, muebles nuevos y TV.

Relájese en la gran terraza con vista al tranquilo estanque de Leland y encienda la parrilla disponible.
Un dormitorio con cama queen y baño completo con ducha. Daybed en la sala de estar con cama individual desplegable debajo para dormir adicional. Todas las sábanas proporcionadas. Acomodará 4 cómodamente. Televisión de pantalla plana.

Cocina completamente funcional: estufa de gas de 5 quemadores, microondas, refrigerador, cafetera, tostadora, utensilios de cocina, platos, algunas especias, parrilla, pozo de fuego, balsa flotante, muelle, gran terraza, estacionamiento para 3 autos.

Todas las cámaras nuevas (6) y una buena llanta vieja para flotar alrededor de este estanque maravillosamente tranquilo, pintoresco y rodeado de naturaleza. Es un estanque de caldera glacial que tiene 50 pies de profundidad en el centro y es un destino de pesca muy popular. ¡¡No hay botes de motor grandes, solo botes de motor pequeños, kayaks, canoas, tablas de remo y tubos !!!! Simplemente ideal para una escapada tranquila.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect. It was close to everything for our needs. Outside was beautiful with all the blooming plants & flowers. Inside was very comfortable & appointed well. The back deck was amazing and the pond & trees were beautiful this time of year; we enjoyed drinking our coffee on the deck. Between the acorns and chipmunks, we stayed entertained. Vera's responses were very quick. We look forward to staying again. Thanks so much! Terry R

This is our fifth year staying at this fabulous cottage. Every year something new is done to make our stay more pleasurable. The cottage is immaculately kept, amazing location and absolutely everything you need for some rest and relaxation. The host are always so accommodating and incredibly efficient. This little cottage is a little piece of heaven. It was absolutely beautiful from the decor to the sunsets. The whole house is extremely clean. It is the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. It was set up perfectly for our anniversary mini getaway, to relax and recharge for my husband, myself and our older children. Sometimes I have a little bit of an issue ambulating so the downstairs bedroom made it perfect. Perfectly located. The owner has thought of all sorts of little things to make your stay a comfortable and pleasurable one. Extra blankets, extra pillows, extra towels. The dock was perfect for fishing. They caught tons of fish. Have absolutely zero negative to say about this place I think they've thought of everything. Communication was absolutely amazing. We definitely will be coming back here again! Thank you so much!

Second year visiting family & shopping MB antique week. The cottage is perfect for my 90 year old mother. The weather was perfect & we enjoyed 4 evenings looking at the sun setting on Leland Pond. We plan to be back. The cottage is well outfitted, clean, & comfortable. Just lovely.

LOOK FORWARD TO RETURNING AGAIN

Driving up to the cottage …simply took my breath away!From the flowers lining the driveway, to the window window boxes cascading with flowers, to the decor and covered front porch with chairs and fresh flowers I felt like I was in dreamland. Exactly the way I want and need to feel on vacation. A Million miles away from reality. Was so excited to get inside and I knew from the exterior even before opening the front door I was in for a treat. Let me tell you the view was breathtaking- the cleanliness was over the top. Which I appreciate since I manage property for living. Stocked with everything you need the lake, the kayaks, the paddle boards even raspberry bushes which we picked every morning to put on our cereal. Fishing good too. If anybody wants a place to unwind, let this be your go too. A True HIDDEN GEM

Escape to the Lake

Peaceful, clean, modern and comfortable: perfect for our college reunion. Mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. Location is convenient to surrounding areas. Kitchen was well equipped with modern range, fridge, microwave and coffee station. Lovely nautical decor. There was sleeping for six people. Stunning sunsets!

Love this Lake Cottage

This place is perfect. We have stayed a couple times while visiting our Colgate student. I only regret that it was already booked for many of our visits. It is right on Leland Pond and has everything you could possibly need- including Kayaks and SUPS and the little lake is so pretty. Waking up to the water views are magical. The place is pristine and the Host is incredibly responsive and so kind and helpful. You will not regret staying here.

Cozy cottage on a beautiful lake, very close to Colgate Univ.

We have stayed in this cottage 4 times now and each visit gets better as the hosts are always finding ways to make things nicer for their guests. Highly recommend.

Relaxation at its Finest

A fabulous week at the White Heron Cottage. This is our 4th year's stay and each year is as fabulous as the one before. The local restaurants we have found are amazing and convenient, the friendships we've made here are memorable, the antique shopping second to none and the hosts, Vera and Walt are accommodating and the best! This is truly God's country. We will be booking year 5 very soon!

Lovely Stay

We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. The first floor bedroom and bath was ideal for my 89 year old Mom. Thankful for water and coffee bar. We visited family and shopped Madison Bouckville. Location was perfect. Enjoyed lunch at Seven Oaks CC and a great breakfast at Hamilton Inn. The cottage kitchen was well equipped for meals we cooked. We love the Mosher farm stand just up the road. Ice cream at Cobblestone very close by, too. Unfortunately, it rained a bit so we didn’t get to use the pretty decks too much. Still the pond view was spectacular. The new Delphi Park was a short distance away as was Chittenango so we saw 2 waterfalls. Highly recommend.

A little slice of heaven!

We have been staying here since 2020 and every year it gets better and better. The new construction has allowed us to bring our family rather than just my husband and I which the family has come to love. Being on the water and having all of the "toys" to play with is a huge plus. The interior provides plenty of room and is always so clean and inviting. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay in the area. You feel miles away but have everything you need less than 10 min. away. You can't go wrong renting this little gem!! Can't say enough good things about the cottage or Vera!!

A charming and relaxing cottage

We enjoyed having a charming and relaxing place to come and go while our daughter attended a hockey camp at Colgate. It was so peaceful to kayak in the pond, fish at the end of the dock and read on the balcony with a cup of coffee. The hosts were also very responsive and helped us troubleshoot when one of the air conditioners stopped working until we got it working again. Thanks for sharing your lake cottage with us.

Vers is an excellent host and the house is lovely. Love having access to kayaks and paddle boards. Great decks to enjoy the outside.

Great setting close to Colgate.

House is very comfortable and clean. Lots of natural light. When current construction is completed will easily accommodate 3 couples or a family. Great owners, easy to communicate with. Loved the dock and outside decks that are right on a fishing pond. House has all you need with exception of dishwasher.

Relaxing Retreat

We spent 4 days visiting family in the area. The house was spacious and spotlessly clean with a beautiful view of Leland Pond. We enjoyed the quiet woodland setting. Communicating with Vera and checking in were super easy. We will definitely stay there again.

Relaxation at Leland Pond

We spent our 3rd year hear at the cottage and it's our 3rd year for a reason. The hosts are a pleasure and the cottage is amazing! This year, it has undergone quite an addition making it even more pleasurable. You are less than 1 hour from Syracuse, close to antiquing, shopping, farms, and fabulous dining. We love food and experienced some amazing restaurants this year; Horned Dorset Inn in Leonardsville (25 min away), exceptional, Creekside Inn in Oneida (25 min away), Poolville Country Store in Earlville (17 min away) wonderful farm to table. Do yourself a favor and book this fabulous lake home. We will be back next year.

Spectacular place

We spent there few days and it was not enough. This place is beautiful. House is newly renovated and very clean. You have all the essentials there. Just take beach towels with you. The fridge was filled with water so don't bother to bring any. There are 3 kayaks, boat and 2 paddle boards for you to use, and a lot of more. This place is so beautiful and quiet. The neighbors are wonderful. We were fishing a lot. My husband caught 21' largemouth bass, and one of my child got 20' pickerel and so many other small fish. Early morning is the best for fishing, We went to antiques stores 6 minutes away, Mohers farm is just 2 minutes away with fresh veggies and fruits. We are looking forward to go back to this beautiful place in the future.

I have lived in this area my entire life and love the many lakes and rolling hills. I finally realized one of my dreams of owning a cottage on a lake! I couldn't have found a more perfect fit at Leland Pond. I have three daughters and one granddaughter who will be enjoying the cottage occasionally. Travelers needing a quiet, clean home away from home can rent for 2 days or a week!
