Sweetest way to spend our anniversary!
Very cute and comfortable home, neat and tidy. Very nice hot tub, private, yet close to town. Excellent value, check in and check out was extremely easy, super nice people. I really liked the fenced yard that allowed us to bring our two dogs. It was the most romantic location, with a beautiful forest view, and other than a small amount of traffic noise, it seemed like I was miles away from it all...even though a supermarket was about 3 blocks away. I would definitely stay here again!
Great proximity to beach and Tahoe City. Hot tub was awesome. Some of the furniture was very dated.
Great location, but needs more attention to details
Our family had such a wonderful stay in North Lake! The house was smaller than pictured, and needed some attention to detail. For example, there were ants on the master bedroom ceiling, a crack in one of the windows in the dining room, 4 nails sticking out of the stairwell low enough where my 3 year old could have injured himself, the shower curtain rings did not latch on completely so they were constantly falling off, the kettle in the kitchen has an all metal grip which blistered my hand from burns the first time I used it, and the mattresses downstairs were VERY uncomfortable, and the wifi only worked half of the time.
place needs an updating
Place was musty. Many things needed attention. Grill starter did not work. So one needed to turn on and have a long match or torch lighter to start. Neither were provided. The kitchen was sparse. Dishwasher basket was broken making it hard to put in untensils. Window broken. Deck was filthy. Carpenter ants falling out of the wood work. Saw how the place had potential but owners should put a little $ into the place. I would not stay there again.
OK place, small downstairs bedrooms and small living room area.
House was OK. The living room area felt small as you had to step down into it. No room for family games or easy hanging out together. Table sat only 4, so hard to have dinner for 8. The board games were all missing pieces, so useless. No firewood, kindling or matches for a fire. The bedrooms downstairs aren"t very nice. Limited pans for cooking. The lofts sofa bed mattress awful just springs. Overall ok rental, not great. On the positive side they allowed dogs, upstairs bedroom was very large and nice, bathrroms nice and price was good.
Beautiful house in the perfect location!
I've now stayed in this house twice, and my friends and I absolutely love it! It's a nice house with good temperature control, and walking distance or a very short drive from town. It's clean and comfortable, and we will definitely be back many times over!
