Our listing clearly identifies these items as optional rental items available for an additional charge; it does not state that they are included with the home. This is also explained in the rental terms and conditions agreed to when the reservation is made. We make every effort to describe the home and any optional services accurately so guests can make informed arrangements before arrival. These items are available for families who require them, but they are not part of the standard amenities included with the reservation.

We’re very pleased that the home worked well for your company retreat and that you particularly appreciated its cleanliness, maintenance, spacious gathering areas, pool, well-equipped kitchen, and community amenities. We would just like to clarify a couple of points for future guests. The home is provided on a self-catering basis, with an initial supply of essentials such as toilet paper and soap provided for arrival. Additional supplies for the duration of a stay are the responsibility of guests. Grill rental and guaranteed early check-in are both completely optional services. Grill rental includes delivery of a clean, prepared grill with propane, followed by collection and cleaning after use. Standard check-in is 4:00 PM, and an earlier guaranteed arrival requires us to adjust housekeeping and inspection schedules, which is why an additional charge applies. We appreciate the feedback regarding the pool table and garage temperature and will certainly keep these points in mind. Florida afternoons can also make west- or south-facing upstairs rooms warmer on arrival, although, as you noted, the room cooled comfortably later in the day. Most importantly, we’re delighted that you found the property clean and well maintained, particularly in comparison with other homes you have experienced in the community. While we are pleased you found the home itself to be nice, we are disappointed by several inaccuracies in your review and would like to clarify matters for the benefit of future guests. **Internet Service:** Unfortunately, Spectrum experienced two separate service outages during your stay. These were entirely outside our control, and our rental terms clearly explain that internet availability cannot be guaranteed when third-party providers experience technical difficulties. Despite your suggestion that we were unconcerned, we responded to your messages late at night. Our documentation also explains how guests can contact Spectrum directly for service restoration updates, as we have no ability to expedite repairs to their network. **Cleanliness and Towels:** The home was professionally cleaned and prepared before your arrival. Contrary to your assertion, towels are professionally laundered by our housekeeping team between reservations, not by previous guests. Asking guests to wash towels during their stay does not mean they are responsible for preparing them for incoming guests. Your suggestion otherwise is incorrect and unfair to our professional housekeeping staff. No concerns regarding stained floors, cleanliness, or towels were reported to us during your stay, which unfortunately denied us any opportunity to investigate or address them. **Pool and Spa:** There is no imposed time limit on using the spa. Our guidance simply explains that prolonged spa operation interrupts normal pool filtration, potentially causing water quality problems, including green water. This is practical advice intended to maintain a clean and enjoyable swimming environment for guests. **Trash Collection:** Collection schedules and procedures are established by the resort community, not by individual homeowners or property managers. Clear instructions are provided to help guests manage household waste appropriately. **House Rules and Information:** Our rental terms, house notices, and guest information are provided to ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of everyone staying at the property, while protecting the home and its facilities. Charges and applicable conditions are disclosed in advance. The comprehensive guest manual is intended as a helpful reference, not something guests are expected to read cover to cover. We appreciate that an interruption to internet service is frustrating, particularly when traveling with teenagers. However, it is unreasonable to attribute an independent utility provider's network failures to a lack of care or concern by the property manager. We take genuine concerns seriously and work hard to maintain our homes to a high standard. We would always encourage guests to report any issues during their stay so that we have the opportunity to investigate and resolve them promptly. We regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we remain confident in the quality of our accommodation, the professionalism of our housekeeping team, and the service we provide to our guests.

I am disappointed to read that you would post such a derogatory and exaggerated review of your stay at the Fairway Retreat. On the two occasions that we did attend (after you contacted our support line after midnight) there was no evidence of any roaches. Nevertheless, the attending technician applied additional treatments, traps, and bait strips as an additional precaution. We went out of our way to assist your group even though my staff were on each occasion exposed to impolite and aggressive behaviour from your party. I don’t think too many property managers would consider it reasonable for you to be phoning at midnight insisting on registering additional visiting guests.
