Bungalow recientemente renovado de una habitación ubicado a pasos de la hermosa playa, parque, canchas de tenis, gimnasio, restaurantes, Starbucks y tiendas. Tenemos una cama queen (con colchón de almohada de lujo) y un sofá de cuero con capacidad para hasta 3 personas. Proporcionamos todos los elementos esenciales como: toallas de baño, champú y acondicionador, toallas de playa, sillas de playa, etc. Un barrio tranquilo y seguro. Cute small space for close to beach access, but AVAC, TV remote, and front porch light weren’t working. After multiple attempts to communicate with host, no response was received.

The property was older but the rooms were clean, rhe price was reasonable and the location was great. We called and sent Mandy a message through VRBO regarding the temperature in the room being too cold and the thermastat was locked so we couldn't change it and we never heard back from her. We had to buy a space heater at Walmart. We have rented through VRBO many times in the past and have always received responses from property managers if we had a question or needed assistance

This was perfect for a beach weekend getaway with our dog. We enjoyed the fresh air on the porch, the short walk to the beach, and the peaceful nights.

We were in town for my wife to get treatment for a serious respiratory illness.The A/C vents had visible mold showing and the smell of mold was present. The furniture was not the same as in the listing and the listing can only be described as deceptive. I spoke with the host who was rude, argumentative and generally unhelpful. We did not stay at the property and found a nearby hotel for stay. Absolutely would not recommend!

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the miscommunication with one of our co-hosts. For your peace of mind, the building and the unit were fully inspected by the city ( once a year to ensure safety for short term rentals ) just two days before your check-in. After you reported a concern about possible mold in the air vent, we immediately hired a licensed professional to reinspect your unit and the entire building. The inspection report confirmed that no mold or mildew of any kind was present in the building and in thr unit you rented. We understand your concern. This is an older building, and some of the paint on the air vent has worn off, which can appear as darker spots—but it is not mold. Regarding the photos, all images online were taken directly from the unit. Some furniture pieces have been updated since then, and we are in the process of refreshing the listing photos to reflect these changes.

It is NOT a charming bungalowVRBO pictures are not current, a person mentioned this months ago, and they are still not changed.Thermostat is behind the tv, i could not reach it as i would have been on a chair and would risk wrecking the tv. We chatted 3 times w Mandy because the thermostat was preprogrammed and every 2 hrs the heat went down to 66. After 3 days she finally took off th programming so we could manually run it ourselves.Towels, chairs in the kitchen, the wrecked chair in the bedroom, we’re like it all came from a bad thrift store.No dresser to put clothes in, just little spaces. They could take out the ‘desk’ in th bedroom and put one in there as there was space.Repairs done are shoddy. The hand towel bar in the bathroom obviously broke (the VRBO pics show the towel bar on the wall) so instead of fixing it, they moved the mirror over to hide it and did not put another bar in-we had to drape the hand towel over the toilet paperThe porch had again very old furniture, the siding was full of dirt, the deck and railings in horrible shape. Horrible chairs too. The entire inside sorely needed painting.This a middle unit. Walls are thin so we could hear a tv and people in both units talking.The bed was fine, and the short walk to the ocean were only positives. The price was not as expensive as most places near the beach, so if u can handle the property in its condition, have at it.

Over all not bad. Though not steps from the beach so description is a bit misleading, 2 short blocks ..not far just not steps. Shower handle was broken fell off in my hand, I was able to use it ...carefully. The cookware is in need... to be updated/upgraded, it is not in good shape to say the least. The blinds in the bedroom has some broken slats. A blanket throw would be nice. All and all not bad. Just not what I had invisioned.

A nice short walk to the beach…

This property is a very short walk to the beach which was great! It is much smaller and slightly more claustrophobic than depicted. Very uncomfortable bed, pillows and a major roach problem in the kitchen. Felt like we needed to continually wash everything before we used it. We also did not realize from the listing that we were going to be sharing an entrance with another tenant, fortunately they were quiet. The very small living room is also rather dark because there is no window looking directly out.

Close to the Beach

Really cute property, clean and one block walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again. This unit does require you to share an entry and porch area with another unit.

Wonderful!!

This was our first time using VRBO and Mandy was very quick to reply with excellent communication during our stay. The lodging has excellent inside/outside lighting, very clean and the kitchen is well equipped including having breakfast in the screened in porch. The lodging is pet friendly with several areas to walk our dogs including very close to the beach!!

Amazing beach getaway

This was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I (and our 2 fur babies). This location is walking distance to everything! Only 1 block to beach, restaurants, stores, etc. Made it perfect for us. Owner is quick to respond and extremely friendly. We will definitely rent from her again!

I fall in love with Jacksonville Beach when I first visit my family and friends here back in 2 years ago. A small quiet beach town that conveniently close to everything we need. Quiet and safe neighborhood with super friendly neighbors :)

1 block walk to watch beautiful sunrise in early morning and jogging on the beach later afternoon. Half block from tennis courts and park, 3 blocks from Whole-food Market and many of my favorite restaurants and coffee shops. Enjoy ride bike alone the beach to breath the fresh ocean-air.
