We needed a place to stay for our son’s boot camp graduation, & originally planned on bringing our dog, but changed our mind. We were bringing 2 of his friends- guy & his GF. So we looked for a place for all of us. This listed a queen bed in BR, pull-out queen in LR & twin in separate LR. Unfortunately we found that they felt an inflatable bed was a separate space. Luckily the kids were able to make it work, a bit tight in LR, but it was fine. The house itself was very well stocked & super clean. The kitchen was excellent, extra linens in closet, nice TV, and very cool AC. Neighborhood was beautiful, easily walkable. I even walked to town- very pretty. Parking was on the street if the other side was rented( as it was when we were there), but it seemed very safe, with no issues. Communicating with the host was wonderful. They answered my questions almost immediately, which was great, as other hosts took days. All in all a pleasant stay, just had hoped for a room with a twin bed, besides the others, which were comfy! If you’re 1-4 I’d highly recommend, if you’re cool with closeness you can fit 6, but… nice place, well remodeled & stocked to the hilt! I thought I took pics, but can’t find any, sorry.

This property met all my needs. It has a living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. There is even a small laundry. The kitchen is well equipped. Refrigerator was clean. Access was easy using the keypad lock. The neighborhood was quiet. It is a short walk to restaurants and the riverwalk. AC worked well.It is an older house typical of the neighborhood with twelve foot ceilings.I stayed for three nights and would recommend this house.

Cute and cozy in a great neighborhood

This was our 1st trip to Cummins Georgia. The neighborhood was nice and a close walk to downtown.

Run like your hair is on fire!

I had to request the check in information hours before we arrived at this property, very in professional. This property was in no shape for a visit when we arrived. Advertised as something that sleeps 6 we could only justify 2. The kitchen and bedroom were kemp and somewhat clean, but the entire place smelled musty and like pee. (There were two anti-odor machines running in the building when we arrived???) The pull out couch, which is where my kids were going to sleep had food, and brown substances in/on it and there was a nasty smell saturating it. We found an air bed in the closet, which must have constituted the (6 people sleeping arrangement boasted.). But it stunk so badly like cat pee that we could use it. We decided not to stay as it was a health hazard and the owner offered us a 12 percent refund, as if he was doing us a favor. Beware of this property and stay away. If you are coming down to enjoy time with your family and your soldier, you will not do so here

Get what you pay for?

This was the cheapest option given at the time, so I shouldn't have expected too much. However, this property is old and it's deterioration is hidden by heavy paint layers and carpeting in the bedroom. Worse part of that was walking on the carpet and feeling the floor sink from what must be a rotted floor. While the inside appeared satisfactorily cleaned, with clean towels provided in a stack left on a very low bed, there was what appeared to be a used towel left behind the bathroom door. The shampoo, creme rinse, and body wash were in large bottles apparently for community use by all guests, which was more disconcerting when I opened the medicine cabinet to find a small bottle of mouthwash that had been used even though the protective tape was still wrapped around the cap. Having said all that, the neighborhood was quiet, I felt safe walking my dog in the evening and we were able to accomplish our purpose in visiting Columbus. I wouldn't say I would never stay there again, only that I hope I have more money to pay for another option, if there is a next time.
