We have rented from VRBO for years and never stayed in a house so well equipped for guests. The owner was very responsive and left us a very thoughtful gift basket! There wasn't one thing we looked for that we couldn't find to make our stay perfect. Access to the beach was visible from the porch. The proximity to the grocery store was minutes away. The neighborhood was fantastic for a daytime walk toward the sound. I can't say enough great things about the property, location and owner!

Home away from home

Absolutely would stay again! The host is fantastic....so nice, excellent communication and she really has thought of everything! If we thought we may have left something at home...she had it there for us...even for the dogs! The dogs enjoyed their stay and getting a few romps on the beach, which is just across the street, hanging out on the porch and potty breaks in the dog run. Our 2yo nephew had just about everything he needed as well! It was so nice to arrive and be ready to hit the beach.Comfortable home with everything you need. Convenient to the beach and a few blocks from the bridge to local shops, restaurants and ice cream shops everywhere! We hope to make this an annual trip for our family and would definitely come back to 1 Happy Turtle!

Love this place

It was our 4th time staying here and love this house. The memories shared are ones I’ll remember forever! We love the house and the amount of space you have. Love that it is dog friendly! Has everything you need!

This place was perfect for my gang! The beach access was right across from the house. The house had everything we could possibly need! Great communication from the owner. Looking forward to booking 1 Happy Turtle next year. Highly recommend!!

Perfectly stocked

Just got back from our stay. The home is stocked like a home, not a rental. You truly can just bring your clothes then go pick up some food when you arrive. Barbara is quick to respond for any need, which is wonderful. Looking forward to returning.

The Perfect Shell

My adult children and our dogs spent Christmas together here. It was perfect! The host has so many small touches that made us feel welcome! The dwelling itself felt so homey and everything you might need is there. The beach view is great and it is such a short walk to get to the beach. We had an amazing time and will definitely come back. It was the perfect shell for my family of turtles!!

Absolutely love this house

My family and I loved our stay at One Happy Turtle. The house was so clean and well stocked with just about anything you could ever want or need. Excellent communication with the owner and a very short walk to the beach. Perfect for a family traveling with kids, grandparents and dogs! We will definitely be back. Not house related but Holden is so fun for shell and shark tooth hunting. We found a ton of cool stuff!

Nice and relaxing stay

The park was just a short walk away with swingset, slides and tennis courts. The beach was also a short walk away. We could come back to the house quickly if needed. Very family friendly environment. The house was just what we needed.

Wonderful house and vacation

150 steps to beach. All you need is food from Food lion. The clothes you pack. Most everything at this house is there. Great location and view. Clean house and no smell. Barbara was our host if we need her she was there. My dog loved the toy they provided and is still playing with it. We look forward to next year.

A great home with an even better location!! House was clean, had great AC and wonderful beds!! The owner was super with communication and between she and Evolve, they could not of been more helpful or kind! The house was well stocked with everything you could think of, and there was a private beach access directly across the street!! Easiest check-in and check-out ever!! Thank you, 1 Happy Turtle!! Amazing stay!

This was absolutely perfect for our beach getaway! The property is just as described and only a short walk to the beach. We brought along our pups and loved the backyard and open space. There is a very small dog run area for your pup should you wish to use it and conveniently a spray hose for a quick dog clean up.

Outdated, but great location

This house has everything you need and then some. Owner was very responsive before and during our stay. The house could use some updating, but the location makes up for that. Literally steps from the beach and just a couple of minutes from the bridge to get to the mainland.
