The house and property were clean. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen equipment. Our grandchildren enjoyed the 7 dwarf sleeping area. The beach area out to the pier did not have weeds. Past the pier was weedy. We had great weather and family time.

Cozy Cabin Getaway

The second we walked into this cabin, we felt at home and had such a sense of peace. Just the way a cabin should feel! You could just tell this home is very loved and cared for by the cleanliness and attention to detail. The landlord was very helpful and incredibly responsive. We spent the weekend with family, brought our pontoon, and the launch was so close by it worked out perfectly! The amenities offered were endless! We can’t wait to go back!

Comfortable Family Getaway

The minute you stepped into this lake home, it truly felt like home. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and features this home offered. Our guest host was great to work with and answered any questions we had before and during our stay, I can't say enough about our guest host! We were a family of 9, although we were a small group, there are plenty of places to spread out, both upstairs and downstairs for larger groups We enjoyed having a seating area close to the kitchen, we used it alot! The outside was very well taken care of. We especially appreciated the deck, which did not have the hot afternoon sun on it! The yard was quite large and flat to be able to play yard games and also keep an eye on the kiddos. Our grandchildren had hours of fun on the sand beach, the water was very clear. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bathrooms had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend this lakehome and would absolutely go back, it felt like our home away from home!

Great place

Lake was perfect for our trip. Quiet and big enough for skiing. House was perfect for that MN feeling. The neighbors were nice. Clean property. Communication with host was good. Only suggestion would be to book through the property management company Evolve instead of VRBO. Evolve manages the property for the host but expands the advertising footprint using VRBO so you will get a service charge from both VRBO and Evolve.

Summer vacation

This is a great cabin for a family vacation!! We had 15 family members (4 children) and had beds and space for everyone. We spent most of our time outside, the yard was large enough for all our yard games. The beach and shallow, clear water were perfect for the kids. Pat was easy to get ahold of when we had a minor problem and it was fixed in a matter of a few hours. We would highly recommend this property.

Amazing family get away!

We had an outstanding trip to this amazing location! We were a family of 12 gathering for our son’s high school graduation vacation. We enjoyed fishing, golf, grilling, yard games and more! The amenities were incredible and the house was very organized and clean! Wonderful location to the Brainerd lakes area! We cannot say enough about our experience here! Hope to go back again!

First Christmas away from the resort we owned but sold this summer.

It was a perfect roomy place for us all to get together. We always had Christmas at the resort we just sold after 46 years, so we felt good here. Also when there was 20 inches of snow they came twice to plow. Thank you! Thompsons

Great location, at a nice cabin.

The location, lake, beach, and yard are very nice for a Minnesota lake. Fishing was okay, and exactly what one would expect in late July. The cabin was well suited for 7 adults and 7 kids (3-17 years old). The kids (and adults ) played a lot outside, in the lake, and on the lake. They only seemed to use screens in the evening, so the cabin, and lake kept them busy. The deck and outside area make very efficient use of the lake lot. The fire pit, deck, and yard have nice spaces for a variety of things. The cabin had two sets of corn-hole boards, in addition to everything else listed in the description. This was a nice unexpected bonus. My only little criticism was the low ceiling areas upstairs. It took me a day to adjust. The gas grill perhaps needs to be updated/fixed/replaced, because the burners don't evenly burn, leaving hot and cold spots on the grill. Like I said, these are very minor things for an overall satisfying vacation at Lake Edward. BTW, check out the Chocolate Moose (Ice Cream), Big Axe Brewery (Beer), and Stonehouse Coffee in Nisswa.

Wonderful place to stay!!

Beautiful property, very clean and spacious for our large family! Check in was quick and easy. The lake shore was great for our little kids to swim and play! Loved the nice fire pit. The house had everything we needed and was very clean and organized. We loved our vacation at Lake Edwards it was a great place to stay!!

Perfect Family Getaway

We loved our time at this Lake Edward cabin. The home was clean and just as described on the listing. The yard was perfect for the kids to run around and the beach area was a nice option for the kids to play in shallow water. The water was crystal clear. Lake Edward itself was very quiet, very few boats ever on the water. Communication was easy with Pat. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it to others.

Perfect stay at beautiful cabin

Our group of 7 adults and 4 toddlers had an amazing time at the cabin. It is exactly as pictured. The yard and beach area was perfect for our toddlers and the house had more than enough space for everyone. Pat was very communicative and the entire process was seamless. Quiet getaway on the lake!

There were 9 of us that stayed there ranging in age from 6 to 72. We all had fun and enjoyed our stay. The fire pit was so nice and we were able to warm up on the cool evenings and still be outside! We went in to Crosby, Nisswa and other small towns around and there was a ton to do and see! Lots of great restaurants, breweries and shops nearby! The house itself was large and accommodated all of us nicely! We would definitely stay here again.

Lake Edward cabin - great family rental!

We loved our week at this gorgeous home on Lake Edward. It was very comfortable for our large family, extremely clean, and easy to make ourselves at home for a week of lake fun. The owner stayed in contact just to make sure everything was going well. Would definitely rent here again.

Great for a Group

We absolutely loved the house. Very clean and spacious. Wish we had more time to stay. We stayed three nights and a week would have been great. I would recommend finding a pontoon to use for at least a couple hours. The lake is so beautiful and I would have loved to have gone fishing with the group. It is very relaxing and so much room to spread out and be alone or group together and play games. Loved it.

Beautiful Setting with wonderful views and water access

Our group of 4 families recently stayed at the cabin for a long weekend and it couldn't have been more perfect. The setting was such an awesome layout for the adults and the children. The adults could hang on the lawn, deck or beach while the children played all around. It was effortless. The cabin and all of amenities were exactly as the photos showed. Very well laid out and clean. Plenty of space for all to hang out and privacy with the 4 bedrooms. Our kids loved the dormitory and all of the special touches that have been made to help make that area a delight for children-young and old! We will definitely return and highly recommend.

Awesome place - Better than what seen in pics

We had stayed there with 8 adults and 4 kids. It was a great experience. place is great, very clean and has everything you need. The place and cabin are far more beautiful than the pics. Lots of place for kids to play outside . would love to come back here and stay again. Patricia was super helpful and reachable for any questions we had . Would absolutely recommend to stay there!
