The cabin is perfect for a couple wanting to just get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, or for a family getaway where everyone can explore the area around the guesthouse.

Peace & Serenity

Sit on the porch and experience the peace and serenity of gazing at a beautiful sunset. Catch a glimpse of deer, turkey and other wild life from the porch. The guesthouse comfortably sleeps four in two twin-size beds and a queen-size bed that are all located on the second floor of the cabin.

Our Location

Located just off scenic Highway 87 between historic Fredericksburg, TX and Mason, TX, the Keyser's Country Cabin guesthouse at Loyal Valley offers easy access to restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing in the area. Visit the brewery and quaint shops in Fredericksburg, eat bar-b-que and tour the town square in Llano, or visit the bat cave in Mason.

Great place to get away

We where there to go off roading in Mason but broke the jeep so stayed in the cabin. Is is really a beautiful place. Thank you we plan on coming back.

Great Place Great location

I am surprised not very many reviews as a lot of guest have singed the book and loved it. I will say this a great stay. We saw many deer, a fox, a turkey with babies. Only about 20 mins to Fredericksburg and 20 mins to Mason which you should check out as well. I highly recommend this cabin. The sunrise off the porch is amazing!!

Fun, Peaceful Getaway

Easy to find, ultra clean, great location between Mason and Fredericksburg. The dark sky was perfect for stargazing with a telescope. We felt safe and relaxed the whole time. Crashed immediately after crawling into those beds, it was great! Hope we get to stay again sometime.

Very relaxing and quiet. Watched the deer in the afternoon. Great little place to get away, close enough to the Hill Country towns to have plenty to do if you want to.

Great Getaway Locale

The cabin is almost perfect. If the bedroom and the bathroom were on the same floor, I would give it a complete 5-star rating. The stairs would be difficult for older guests. Personally, I think a new shower head would help also. Directions to the cabin were a little confusing (Mason address), especially since every navigation system we tried sent us in circles. The brownies and Mrs Shirley were awesome.
