Apartment in 12th Century Chateau de Boussagues
This is a unique opportunity to stay in a medieval castle. The 12th century Chateau dominates the village of Boussagues.The 700 sq ft apartment will sleep 2 people only. The heated swimming pool and a private 600 sq ft terrace. If you want to get away from the stress of everyday life, this could be the place for you. There is virtually no traffic in the village, save the odd tractor. We are sorry, but we do not allow children under 20 years old. The tower apartment is to the East of the Chateau and was added to the original building in the 16th century. The large bedroom is situated in the tower and has an exposed stone wall with a meutrier window (arrow slit), this would have been the exterior of the 12th century building. The château stands above the village of Boussagues and the view down the valley over the rooftops and across the surrounding countryside and is quite breathtaking.
