Beautiful Restored Algarve Typical Farmhouse, with Private Pool and Sea Views

This villa is a lovely converted farmhouse set in an elevated position. It is beautifully decorated maintaining its original character but offering all the modern amenities. The villa is situated in a peaceful location, with outstanding views of the surrounding countryside and sea. The villa is quiet and tranquil without being totally isolated and it is very suitable for families with children of any age. Big garden for children to play with swings and a coverd barbecue area, with large tables. There is a grocery store and a couple of restaurants within easy walking distance. The villa is near Quinta do Lago, Almancil and Loulé. The beach resorts of Vale de Lobo and Quinta do Lago are about a 10m drive making this villa a great base for a larger group our family who want plenty of choice of activities and spacious property.

geweldige vakantiewoning in typisch Portugese stijl voor families met kinderen en kleinkinderen

We hadden een geweldig verblijf in Quinta da Ilda met onze familie, kinderen en kleinkinderen.De typische gerestaureerde Portugese boerderij is op 20 min van de luchthaven en heeft comfortabele kamers, zoals airco op de bovenverdiepeing . De keuken is voldoende uitgerust en er is een mooi aangelegde tuin met overdekt terras. Ook het zwembad is goed onderhouden en er staan parasols en ligzetels met kussens . Speelgoed voor de kinderen is er ook aanwezig. Jenny maakt je verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk. Er wordt gepoetst en handdoeken vervangen. Toplocatie voor families!

Beautiful inside and out.

Upon arrival at the property we were surprised at the scale of the large beautiful gardens and the pool area. It's a huge space and extremely well maintained with lovely well established plants. The house itself is a rare example of traditional rustic Portuguese style with very nice floor tiles and decor throughout. We had plenty of space with 6 bedrooms and there was everything we could possibly need. Furthermore the owner was always at hand if we needed anything at all. What a lovely house to stay in!

The ideal holiday home!

We have stayed at this beautiful property many times in the last ten plus years - I think we were possibly the first guests , and we have never tired of it - perfect when the children were tiny and ideal for teenagers too .The property is a beautifully restored the new additions blending seamlessly with the old. The pool is perfect big enough to swim in and level enough for games, and even better with the recent addition of pool heating! The pool terrace and barbecue area are fabulous,ideal for a lazy summers evening. The location is the best , close to all the beaches and attractions but far enough away for peace and quiet. Jenny the owner provides amazing service and is always at the end of the phone for any random request , making everything very easy . The ideal holiday home!!

Wonderful traditional farmhouse

This is the 6th year my husband and I have been returning to what we call our 2nd home! The farmhouse is beautiful large and homely typical farmhouse. The tv has ample english speaking programs. We love the peace and quiet of the area away from the hustle and bustle . It is about a 15min drive to vilamoura, quarteira and alburfeira. A car is a must though. The pool and garden is wonderful plenty of space for children to play and very secure. The owner Jenny is always very helpful and pleasant , always on call if you need to contact her. We always love our stay here and never want to go home! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Just as amazing as the photos

We were 11 people running around in the house after just having arrived, amazed and exited about how cosy, beautiful and big the house was. It is indeed just as amazing as in the photos. The house and the rooms are bright and comfortable and so is the whole house. We enjoyed the outdoor eating place everyday and the outdoors fireplace to make barbecues. The huge and ever so lovely garden was so enjoyable for eating, relaxing in the sofa or taking a refreshing swim in the pool in the daytime as well as in the evening enjoying the up-lid garden and pool. Halfway through our stay the lovely landlord Jenny had the house cleaned thoroughly and the bedsheets changed. She was also helpfull with information about the area and places to see. Overall a really nice house that made our stay in Portugal very pleasant.
