Fabulous trullo in a great location a lovely tranquil area. Angelo the neighbour was so friendly giving us a huge bag of tomatoes on arrival. Would definitely stay again despite the tiny kitchen. Outside area was amazing with all facilities.

A beautiful and tranquil property

This trullo has been beautifully renovated. The lighting is wonderful, both bathrooms are nicely done, the beds are super comfortable and the outdoor space is heavenly. It is very close to the charming town of Cisternino which has wonderful restaurants & a wonderful view of the Istria Valley. Sunday nights are charming there & the Monday market was great to gather produce of the area. It is also a short drive to Martina Franca which is also delightful. It is 1/2 hour from Alberobello & Ostuni which are both great to see. The outside spaces to gather are numerous & we loved sitting out in the morning with our cafe or in the evening with a glass of wine. There is a little store 5 min away that has a great selection for supplies, wine & cheese. We highly recommend this property. David was great to work with. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Trullo splendide avec extérieur magnifique et une tranquillité absolue : un havre de paix pour se ressourcer. Accueil et gentillesse des 2 Angelo au top. Le trullo est situé pas très loin de plusieurs villes à visiter (Polignano, Monopoli, Alberobello, Osturi…).Pour aller au bout des Pouilles, il faut passer plus de temps dans la voiture mais ça vaut le coup de découvrir encore mieux cette splendide région. En résumé : une semaine de vacances magnifique !

Mit viel Liebe zum Detail restauriert in herrlicher Lage

Der Trulli ist detailliert und stilvoll restauriert. Zwei tolle Terrassen laden zum Verweilen. Sehr ruhige Lage nicht weit von Cisternino. Was man hört sind Hunde und Hähne. Kommunikation mit Vermieter und dem Vertreter vor Ort ist super und auf Englisch. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Wir waren Anfang Mai für 7 Tage Gäste in diesem weitläufigen Trullo, der, kaum verlässt man die große Straße und ist auf der direkten Zufahrtstraße, in eine wunderschöne, ruhige Landschaft eingebettet liegt. Die Bilder entsprechen der Realität, und vor Ort ist der Eindruck einfach enorm - alleine der lange, gewundene Flur, der zu den Schlafräumen und einem der Bäder führt (das andere Bad ist en suite des ersten Schlafzimmers, vermittelt den Eindruck, in einem größeren Anwesen zu wohnen. Der Trullo ist behutsam und geschmackvoll renoviert und eingerichtet, die Küche verfügt über alles, was wir zur Zubereitung von Mahlzeiten benötigten. Alles war sehr sauber, und die Heizung funktionierte, wenn wir sie brauchten. Tatsächlich standen wir an schönen Tagen vor dem Problem, welche der Terrassen bzw. Außensitzplätze wir zum Frühstück wählen sollten, es gab einen für warme, nasse Tage, einen für windige, und für sonnige sowieso überall (beschattet und unbeschattet). Auch erwähnenswert: Es gab ausreichend Sitz- und Liegepolster für die Gartenmöbel, und auch im Innenbereich jede Menge zusätzliche Kissen. Und der Trullo ist gut gesichert, so dass entspanntes Schlafen, ggf. auch mit geöffnetem Fenster möglich ist. Die Fenster haben Fliegengitter, die Türen die bekannten italienischen Schnürvorhänge. Check-in und Check-out klappten perfekt, und ein anfängliches Problem unsererseits wurde umgehend gelöst. An dieser Stelle ein herzliches Dankeschön an unsere Kontaktperson vor Ort, Angelo, der, wenn notwendig, schnell reagierte. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer, David, verlief von Anfang an problemlos. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben, doch eine weitere Flugverschiebung am Ende ließ uns dieses Mal keine Chance. Und meine Seele hängt nach 3 Tagen zu Hause noch immer im Itria-Tal auf Davids kleiner Frühstücksterrasse vor dem Schlafzimmer…

Trulli de vacances très joliment aménagé , paisible et bel environnement

Avons beaucoup apprécié : -la decoration raffinée et aménagement fonctionnel de cette maison de vacances( 2 salles de douche/ 2 grandes chambres sur 3 ) Elle est très bien entretenue ( rien à redire sur la propreté) -Les différents espaces extérieurs où s’installer en fonction des heures chaudes de la journée . - le paysage environnant et le calme Le seul bémol serait peut-être les coins cuisine et repas un peu exigus pour 5 personnes Mais avec le beau temps des Pouilles , on passe sa vie dehors… En bref , avons été emballés et charmés par cette location

Abbiamo soggiornato per due settimane al trullo ed é stato bellissimo, ottima posizione, vista e location spettacolare silenzio, pace, superaccessoriato, 2 aree per pranzare/cenare all'aperto, spazio, comodità, pulizia, modernamente e finemente arredato, check in e check.out ottimi e flessibili...insomma da ritornarci!!!!!!

A truly beautiful trullo

This trullo has been beautifully modernised and was perfect for our family stay. The trullo had almost everything one could want for a stay in this area. It is conveniently located for visiting all the local towns and there are some lovely walks around it. The outside dining areas are perfect - plenty of sun and more importantly, shade. If staying in that area again we would certainly consider staying booking again.

Nur ein Luxusproblem:

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem liebevoll restaurierten Trullo! Auch der Blick von der Terrasse auf das weite Grundstück gab uns sofort das Gefühl von Urlaub. Ein Ferienhaus in dem unser einziges Luxusproblem darin bestand zu entscheiden, ob wir uns auf die Süd- oder Westterrasse setzen, können wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen ;)

Wunderbar!

Wir haben mit unserer 5-köpfigen Familie eine wunderschöne Woche hier verbracht. Der liebevoll restaurierte Trullo fühlt sich dank des behutsamen Anbaus nicht beengt an und draußen ist sowieso alles weitläufig, ein wunderbarer Garten! Man fühlt sich fernab vom Massentourismus, aber hat trotzdem alles Wichtige in der Nähe (in Cisternino ist man in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto und erreicht einen guten Supermarkt). Ohne Mietwagen geht es natürlich nicht. Danke, David, für dieses Idyll!

Geborgenheit und Gemütlichkeit im Trullo

Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohl gefühlt im Trullo. Dazu die große Weite des gesamten Grundstücks mit Oliven- und Feigenbäumen. Nette Nachbarn wie Angelo. Aber ohne Mietwagen ist man aufgeschmissen und es empfiehlt sich, die Wegstrecke zum Trullo sich genau einzuprägen. Navi hat im Gewirr der Wege keinen Empfang mehr. Alles in allem: sehr empfehlenswert.

Schöne Lage, stilvolles Ambiente

Wir waren schon bei der Anfahrt in das Grundstück beeindruckt von der schönen Lage, die Einrichtung war großzügig und stilvoll. Es fehlte an nichts! Allein das nächtliche Gebell der Nachbarshunde war störend, aber dieses Problem gibts überall, wenn man in Italien auf dem Land lebt!

Amazing Property

Down a long driveway you approach this beautiful trullo, which is in a lovely setting. There is plenty of outdoor dining and relaxing space and the interior of the trullo does not disappoint as it is modern, very clean and very comfortable and we found everything that we needed for our weeks holiday. Clear directions were provided to ensure we arrived without any hassle and the information provided by Angelo on the property and also the town, especially with the parking, was really useful. I would recommend that you need a car to get around. The Market in Cisternino on Monday was fun to mingle with the crowds and we also visited Ostuni, Matera, Martina Franca, Alberobello and travelled along the coast road to visit the beaches. We had also downloaded some local walks, which were beautiful, through the olive groves and vineyards which gave a different perspective. All in all a fantastic base for a lovely holiday. Thank you.

Go traditional in this charming Trullo ready for the modern holiday maker.

This property is exactly as described and makes for a perfect holiday for those who wish to experience something very different in their accommodation, and sample an older, rural Italian way of life in these unique structures. There are a lot of them (Trullos) but only in a very restricted area of Puglia, so this is a great opportunity for the semi-adventurous. Puglia is quite different from most areas of Italy. And the area of Cisternino, just outside of which lies the property, is typical. It sits up high on the extensive Murge plateau; and the land, although fairly well above sea level, is more rolling hills than the usual Italian uplands scenery, but rather pleasant if in an unspectacular way. On the coastal strip and further south around Lecce it is mostly flattish land of limited interest (for us). There are plenty of places worth a visit locally and further afield. We particularly enjoyed Polignano di Mare, Ostuni, Locorotondo, Alberobello and Conversano. Avoid Bari. The use of personal transport is a must, as the Trullo is in a rural position, and a fair distance from the nearest shops etc. I would also advise the use of a SatNav and ensure that you are fully aware of the access directions, especially if arriving at night. I would recommend the accommodation to anyone whilst bearing in mind the cons which may render the Trullo unsuitable for some. Pros- Very clean, well restored and maintained Trullo, within its own extensive and very attractive grounds with most amenities a person may require. Cons- No internet access, Satellite TV has only very limited non-English channels and often these are also unavailable. If taking children, numerous children's DVD's may be advisable. There are a fair number of English DVD's and books on site. There is a pergola covered paved area outside which provides some degree of shade but no protection from the sometimes (in our experience), frequent and heavy rain showers. A pity because it is often still very warm. (Trullo residents themselves traditionally spent much of their time outdoors). By its very nature, a Trullo can be somewhat dark inside, which may not be advisable for every person. We were at the Trullo for two weeks. The accommodation was not serviced, nor was it offered during the period.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette superbe maison Trullo.

La maison est idéalement située pour visiter les Pouilles, les villes et les plages. Elle est très confortable et spacieuse pour 5 personnes. Il y a tout l'équipement nécessaire: cuisine, barbecue et serviettes de toilette et de plage. Les voisins sont très sympathiques. Un voisin nous offrait régulièrement des figues fraiches pour le grand bonheur de mes filles. Je recommande vivement cette location très agréable.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at the trullo and our first visit to Puglia. The accommodation is of a high standard and very well equipped throughout and you will relax in the peaceful setting. We appreciated David's help and advice before arriving, the information at the trullo is all you need to get the most out of this lovely area. Have no hesitation in recommending.
