Goede vakantiewoning.

De woning voldeed aan de verwachtingen en lag vlak naast het gedeelde zwembad (overigens goed onderhouden). Toch 1 puntje van kritiek: de uitrusting van keukengerei was niet aangepast voor 6 personen.(zelf een braadpan en wijnglazen gekocht)

Hade kunnat vara bättre standard

I det hela var vi nöjd. Några saker hade kunnat vara bättre, s.s. ex toalett borstar som var ganska äckliga, några köksutensilier som en salladsskål , sopslev saknades - som vi köpte och som vi hoppas nästa gäst känner sig tillfreds med. Vissa utensilier var trasig och borde ha varit bortplockat eller utbytt. Värst av allt var dock diskmaskinen - som var en ten katastrof. Den fungerade sällan på rätt sätt hur vi än försökte. Vi klagade på att det inte fanns fungerade grill, och fick få en liten bordsmodell - inget för att kunna ha en riktig trevlig grillafton -tyvärr. Ändå - i det stora och hela var det OK, med bra betyg för städning och byte av lakan etc. kan man fixa de små grejer + diskmaskinen skall vi nog kunna rekommendera huset!

Großartiges Haus in wunderschöner Lage

Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt und den Urlaub voll genossen. Das Haus ist modern, großzügig und sehr gut ausgestattet, die vielen Bäder waren für uns mit 5 Personen ein großer Vorteil. Der Garten ist windgeschützt und mit Liegen und Sitzgarnituren ausgestattet, man kann abends sehr schön draussen sitzen und essen. Wir waren an Pfingsten die einzigen Gäste und hatten somit den Pool für uns alleine, wenn es auch noch sehr kühl war. Die Gegend ist wunderschön, im Dorf gibt es einige gute Restaurants und kleine Supermärkte in Laufnähe. Man kann auch gut kleine Besorgungen zu Fuß erledigen. Foz do Arelho ist ein prima Ausgangsort für Ausflüge nach u.a. Sintra, Lissabon und Obidos, sowie das Hinterland. Der Strand ist nah und die Lagune ist perfekt für Familien und Kinder. Alles sehr zu empfehlen.

Fantastic stay

This is the second time we've visited and both times have been really enjoyable experiences. Lovely quiet and spacious villa, swimming pool is pretty much to yourself. Everything you need is to hand. Just a very short trek to the beach and plenty of lovely little cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We have small children and it is a perfect place for them. Owner is very helpful and responsive to any queries. Will definitely be coming back!

Muy bien

La casa esta muy bien, Límpia y práctiaca. Las indicaciones para llegar fueron correctas. El entorno muy bien con la playa a 5 minutos en coche y un montón de sitios para visitar en los alrededores, Obidos, Peniche, Nazaré. Muy recomendable.

Großzügige Aufteilung und feriengerechte Einrichtung

Es handelt sich um ein großes Reihenhaus in einer überschaubaren, abgeschlossenen Anlage am Ortsrand von Foz do Arelho. Foz ist ein auf den ersten Bick selbst im August ein verschlafenes, auf den zweiten Blick ein beshauliches Dörfchen mit immerhin einigen Bars und einladenden Restaurants. Dorf und Ferienwohnung sind gut zwei Kilometer vom wirklich wunderschönen Ozeanstrand entfernt (auch im August immer windig!) - man braucht also den Pkw, um dorthin zu kommen. Das Ferienhaus hat eine absolut voll ausgestattete Küche mit Zugang zur großen Terasse. Im Garten sind Barbecue-Grill und vier Liegen vorhanden. Die Sitzgarnitur könne komfortabler sein, erfüllt aber ihren Zweck. Die Lage neben dem (recht kleinen, aber gut gepflegten) Pool ist für Familien mit Kindern empfehlenswert - andere werden ob der Belegung des Pools leicht genervt sein. Wir haben Tage erlebt, an denen uns der Pool von 9.00 bis 20.00 Uhr Dauerbeschallung bot. Sehr gut sind die Schlafzimmer (2 x DZ, 1 x Zweibettzimmer) und die Bäder. Sehr schön auch die Dachterrasse.Die Nächte sind kühl und man schläft hervorragend (sobald man sich an das abendliche Dauergekläff der benachbarten Hunde gewöhnt hat). Das Wohn-Esszimmer ist etwas spartanisch, aber funktional. Das TV ist nicht zu unserem Freund geworden: Uns ist es nicht gelungen, einen deutschsprachigen Sender zu finden. Menschen mit mehr technischem Sachverstand mögen mehr Erfolg dabei haben. Dafür gibt es eine großzügige Auswahl englischsprachiger DVS - die Vermieter sind offenbar Movie-Freaks. Der Buchungsprozess auf Fewo-Direkt hat hervorragend funktioniert. Wir waren zunächst irritiert, dass der volle Rechnungsbetrag abgebucht wurde und es keinen Mietvertrag oder ähnliches gab. Etwa drei Wochen vor Reisebeginn haben wir jedoch eine vollumfängliche Info-Mail erhalten. Damit lief es wie am Schnürchen. Zum Schluss noch zwei Empfehlungen: - Wir haben sehr schöne Abende im Restaurant Europa verbracht. Hervorragende frische Fisch-Küche, beste Strandlage, gute Weinauswahl und erfrischende Bedienung - super. - Wenn Sie planen, mit dem Mietwagen zu kommen: Vermeiden Sie Europcar am Flughafen Lissabon. Zwei Stunden Wartezeit, eine verbeulte Karre - wirklich Murks.

Lovely Villa in a quiet location but close to everything

Our family of 5 (2adults & 3 children) stayed here in June for 10 days. The villa is very well equipped with everything you could need for a family holiday including beach items. The pool was a great hit with the kids and usually had no one in it so it was just like having our own pool. The villa is very spacious and airy and everyone had more than enough space. It was also great to have some tv channels for when the kids were tired after a day in the sun. The villa is just outside the village but its a lovely walk into the village passing the restaurants and shops. Easy walk to the beach too although slightly long for little legs :) The beach in Foz is beautiful and safe for kids. There are lovely restaurants/cafes and they are pretty reasonable. If you hire a car Caldas de Rhaina is very close and there are plenty of supermarkets and shops for the days where the sun is not shining. There is a fantastic park in the centre with tennis courts playgrounds and a beautiful museum. We love this area of Portugal and we have been 4 times now, we will be back again!

sehr gut ausgestattete Villa, toller Strand

Wir haben einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Villa gehabt und uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool war toll für die Kinder und wurde täglich gewartet. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig, drinnen und draußen viel Platz. Der Strand in Foz bietet mit der Lagune und dem Atlantikstrand alles für kleine und große Kinder. Man ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten dort. Das Haus ist auch ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Lissabon, Sintra, Obidos etc.

The villa was beautiful and in walking distance of the beach and the town.

The villa was very well equipped and catered for all our needs. It's right next to the pool. The pool was lovely and regularly attended.

Fabulous Villa

This villa is absolutely fabulous, there is everything in the villa that you could possibly need and was spotless.It is within easy walking distance to bars and restaurants and the stunning lagoon and beach. I would have absolutely no problem in recommending this villa and will certainly return to this area and villa. The owner Grieg could not have been anymore helpful with information on the area and attractions. All in all a fabulous stay.

What a great house and lovely place

A fantastic holiday! The house was great with all home comforts and more. Highlights included the pool and sun loungers, excellent DVD library and wifi, 3 bathrooms, amazing beaches and lots of lovely places to explore nearby. Highly recommended !
