Beautiful Lakefront Home At Sunset Shores

This vacation rental home is perfect for large or multi-family gatherings offering an open kitchen, multiple dining areas, spacious living room, immense porch overlooking the lake and enough beds to sleep 16, with additional floor space to add several air beds (2 airbeds are available).

The first bedroom is the family suite with a pair of queen beds and a private full bathroom. The second bedroom is our "bunk room" with a pair of bunk beds (twin bed over a full size bed) plus a pair of additional twin beds. The third bedroom has a queen bed. The fourth bedroom features a king bed with adjoining bathroom, lake views and access to the back patio.

Both of the spacious bathrooms are complete with showers, tubs, and double sink vanities so there is room for everyone. The master bathroom features a large garden tub that is perfect for relaxing. There is an additional hot water storage tank to provide plenty of hot water for multiple showers/baths.

The open concept floor plan with a huge kitchen open to the living room and dining rooms ensures that there is enough room for the whole family to spend time together. The kitchen is very large and has everything the cook in the family needs with an oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, utensils, etc. The indoor dining areas have seating for 14 and the outdoor patio tables can seat 20.

The living room features a large sectional and additional recliner couch that could sleep up to 3 extra people. The living room also offers a beautiful rock fireplace that's perfect for chilly evenings. A flat screen HDTV with Direct TV and DVD player plus many board games and puzzles provide indoor entertainment for one or many.

The enormous covered patio is open to the lake so you can watch the kids swim and play from the back porch. You can beach or anchor your boat/jetski/water toys in the cove behind the house and there is a large driveway with enough room for trailers. The patio provides excellent views of our coveted sunsets and features a propane grill, multiple tables and chairs, a fire pit and an additional refrigerator/freezer. It's perfect for grilling and eating outdoors and then watching the sun go down. The large yard gives you plenty of room to play with the kiddos. A large fire pit water-side is a great gathering place in the evenings for fellowship and star-gazing.

The utility room has a large capacity washer and dryer. There are three spacious closets for plenty of extra storage.

Next to the shed is a convenient slab area for use by fishermen or other projects that need a little extra space.

House was very clean and well organized, possibly th best of all of the VRBO houses we have stayed in. The views were spectacular. We loved the fire pit and the porch. We were there in the winter, so we did not swim, but had fun walking along the beach looking for rocks and shells. The kayaks are a nice added bonus to have and we had fun with those. The host, Laura, was very nice and informative and quick to respond to questions. Overall, a great place to stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the lake!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The view of the lake was absolutely dreamy, and the whole place felt peaceful and relaxing. The beds were comfortable, everything was spotless, and all the appliances and amenities worked perfectly.We also loved the outdoor BBQ setup and the variety of board and card games available — it made our evenings super fun.Most importantly, Laura was an outstanding host. She was kind, responsive, and always quick to follow up on anything we needed.We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Lakeside Family Fun

Amazing lake house

House was in a great spot close to the water. The outdoor patio area was amazing! We spent most of our time there. The inside was open and roomy. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking for the whole family and friends. The host was very friendly and extremely helpful. You could tell they put a lot of effort into this experience for their guests. 10/10

Great property with a view.

We celebrated my brothers 50th bday here and it was such a fun place! Laura was very quick to respond to messages and gave a very thorough rundown of the property prior to check in. The lake is very close and beautiful ! The sunsets were unforgettable! The back patio is beautiful with everything you need for the fire pit and grill. Laura set us up with everything we needed for s’mores and that was a big hit with the kids (and adults) in our group. Perfect for the fire pit. We had 20 people and while that meant not all the couples got a private room, we had plenty of space for sleeping and dining.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING

The home was very clean, and more than enough room. They had everything and then some that you could need! There was more than enough towels! Plenty of rooms, and even had air mattresses incase there isn’t enough beds. The yard was very clean, and close to the water. Laura was great to communicate with, and so very nice. We didn’t have any problems with the home, but I am 💯 sure if we did she would have gotten right back to us. Very good neighborhood. We had a large group, but never had any trouble! Made for one amazing weekend. We will definitely use Laura again for our stay!

Perfect House and Setting for Our Family Reunion

The house was absolutely perfect for our family reunion. The pictures on line are exactly how the house looks inside and out. The house met all of our expectations. Laura has done a great job in assuring that the kitchen/bathrooms, etc. are all fully stocked and make the stay very enjoyable and comfortable. The lake view was beautiful and we were able to watch beautiful sunsets both night. The fishing on the lake was really fun and we actually caught one fish. The house comfortably slept all of us (8 adults), with room for many more. We will definitely recommend this place and some family members are already talking about coming back in the summertime. Family Summer Vacation 7/2024

My family of 10 adults & 3 children loved our stay at Sunset Shores. Laura was quick to answer all my questions & provide all necessary details for our stay. We had plenty of room to gather for games inside & out or separate. Coffee in the morning on the patio & games in the evening with beautiful sunsets. Plenty of kitchenware for cooking. Plenty of beds. Fun on the lake with the kayaks & water float. Also held our 1st annual fishing tournament for age 30 & under. My granddaughter13) won 1st place, 2 grandsons (9 & 23) winning 2nd & 3rd & granddaughter/grandson (11 &19) received honorable mention. I gave 1 4 star only because the incline down to the lake is real but you can't really tell from the pictures. I would not call it steep, but it will raise your heart rate coming up. I would definitely come again. It was a great time for all and Sunset Shores was perfect for us.

Great spot for bringing a big group together

I was looking for a spot to bring my big family together from opposite ends of the country for a thanksgiving dinner. My grandmother being in the central location of Oklahoma, we decided to look for places there. This home ended up being what could fit us all, and it had great open spaces indoors and outdoors. The property manager was helpful and easy to get ahold of. There are so many outdoor entertaining options that comes with this property and I’m hoping to make another reservation during the summer to take advantage of being right on the lake! Highly recommend!

Best Air B&B I’ve ever stayed at!

The property was exactly as described (better actually) on Vrbo.com. The home was stocked with everything we could have needed including full kitchen accessories, extra bedding, towels, games (both indoor and outdoor) first aid kit, etc. It had what became known as the magic closet where you could find a pack and play, highchair, extra TV’s, coffee pots, sun hats, lanterns. Laura was so easy to contact and communicate with and led us in the right direction for everything we needed to have a beautiful lakeside wedding! I will definitely be going back for more stays; we didn’t want to leave!!

We are Laura and Mark Venator, Members of Venator Holdings, LLC. We both grew up in Oklahoma and spent many wonderful summers with our families vacationing on Oklahoma lakes. We love being at the lake and enjoying all of the activities that the lake offers... boating, fishing, water skiing, tubing, and jet skiing. The opportunity to build memories with friends and family is what we treasure most!

Why they chose this property

We had the opportunity to vacation at this lake house (three times) in 2015 and fell in love with it! When we learned that the house was for sale, we decided the time was right to invest in our dream of owning a house on the lake. We want to continue to offer it as a rental property so that others may enjoy the house, hopefully as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

The views of the lake from the back patio, both in the mornings and especially in the evenings when the sun is setting, are just spectacular. The location of the property is great because it is on the quiet end of the lake, so there is not a lot of other boat traffic. The house itself is wonderful because it is spacious enough to hold large groups without feeling overly crowded.
