The whole house underwent a complete renovation in 2011 to a high specification and still retains an attractive stone roof, antique fireplace carved from local Caen limestone and a spiral wooden staircase which all add to it's character and charm.
The interior is stylishly decorated in shades of white and comfortably furnished to include twin leather sofas in the conservatory. Framed by huge bay windows, these are the perfect place to view the picturesque scenery, with its abundant wildlife and breathtaking sunsets, at any time of the year.

The Beach House is 2.5 km from St Vaast La Hougue and it's marina, and 32km from the ferry connections at Cherbourg or 110km from Caen. The region attracts visitors internationally and is renowned for its gastronomy and oyster beds in particular. Golf, tennis, riding and good local restaurants are nearby, along with many sites of interest including Norman Churches and Cathedrals, the Bayeaux Tapestry (1hr), Mont St Michel (2hr), Normandy Landing Beaches and WWll Cemeteries and Museums within easy driving distance. There are supermarkets and amenities within 10 mins drive and local shops only 5 mins away. Many visit the historic landing beaches, museums and fortifications along the coast but as a tourist destination the area remains largely unspoilt.
