Este ático (170 m2) está situado en Funchal (Reg. Nr. 24787 / AL) en la playa de Formosa, con una vista increíble al Océano Atlántico y acceso directo a la playa.

Para aprovechar al máximo el clima templado de la isla de Madeira, puede disfrutar del sol y la vista al mar relajándose en las tumbonas en el balcón doble del apartamento y la terraza privada en la azotea o elegir nadar en la piscina o en el mar . Con la ventaja de tener todo lo que necesita a una corta distancia a pie, también tiene cafeterías cercanas y restaurantes de pescado locales a solo unos minutos a pie.

Wonderful stay! The place is big and bright, and the views from the balcony are magical. The bed was very comfortable. It was great being so close to the walking path along the water. Communication with Nyara was excellent.

We've just returned from a 2 week stay at this apartment. Everything went very smoothly. Nyara is an excellent host who responded to all queries quickly and efficiently. From booking our airport taxi transfers to advice on local restaurants, we can't fault her. The apartment was clean and spacious with air conditioning in the bedrooms which was a must as the weather was very hot for September!

Lägenheten och byggnaden är mer slitna än vad som framgår av bilderna. Det sovrum som har utsikt mot havet är jättefint men de två andra är ganska mörka. Balkongen och terrassen är toppen.

Simply Stunning

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful penthouse apartment, each room was spacious with an airy layout.Every room was immaculately clean and stocked with thoughtful amenities that made us feel at home.The true highlight of this apartment was the expansive roof terrace and balcony with panoramic views that were simply stunning and we loved the sound of the waves. We also made use of the pool, although it was quite cool in December, it was refreshing!We found it a great area to stay, with plenty of bars and restaurants in the vicinity without the need to go into Funchal centre every day. Madeira is generally very hilly and to walk to the top of the main road, you have to climb a lot of steps, or walk along the road which is a longer way round, but not as steep! When we did walk into Funchal, there was a lovely coastal path walk that we took and we were pleased that the tunnel was open that cuts through the cliffs.Unfortunately the coastal path walking the opposite direction to Câmara de Lobos was closed when we were there, but we got a taxi there and bus back. We found Bolt were a lot cheaper for taxi’s and we believe Uber has just started up there.Nyara was a great host and was quick to answer and resolve any small issues we had. We will definitely be back!

Great spot from which to enjoy Madeira

How can you beat a penthouse apartment right on the beach with unrestricted views of the ocean and coast line. Walking here is a little difficult and requires motor transportation, either a public service like bolt or a bus or a rented car, but then if you are in good shape, you can climb a few stories along steps to the main road, or you can walk along the beach heading toward Funchal, pass through a tunnel and reach the Lido. The apartment is clean and comfortable. The building is a little old and in need of some updating, but in no way detracted from the stay. There are many local restaurants along the beach which make for lovely sunset walks and dining and drinking options. The only complaint that we had is that there is no central or unit air conditioning in the apartment, and despite being on the beach, there is not a lot of air flow into the apartment, so nights were hot and sticky. There is a portable unit that has an exhaust pipe that must be rigged to an exterior window and was able to cool one of the small bedrooms, but it could not be used for the master bedroom or any of the rest of the apartment. So my wife slept in that little room and this allowed me to wake up in the middle of the night and step out on to the balcony and watch the moon over the sea. Nyara, the hostess, was helpful and responsive and accomodating.

Die zwei Wochen Ende August waren ein wunderbarer, entspannter und erholsamer Urlaub. Unsere Gastgeberin war stets hilfsbereit bei Fragen zum Aufenthalt und hat uns auch schöne Vorschläge für Erkundungen und Sehenswürdigkeiten gemacht. Die Unterkunft war sehr gut und wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Super appartement

Vue exceptionnelle, accès direct à la plage (ce qui a l'air assez rare sur cette partie de l'île), conditions climatiques meilleures qu'à qqs kilomètres de là. La terrasse - bronzarium - au dernier étage et le balcon sont des pièces à part entière où il fait bon vivre. L'appartement est fonctionnel et très propre, Nyara essaie de nous faciliter au max les vacances (répond rapidement aux messages et donne de bons conseils). Merci

Meeresrauschen im Ohr....

Wir, 3 Freundinnen, haben alles so vorgefunden, wie beschrieben. Vor allem der große Balkon macht unbeschreibliches Urlaubsfeeling. Nyara ist eine sehr freundliche und zugewandte Gastgeberin. Sie war immer erreichbar und beantwortete alle Fragen sehr schnell. Im Vorfeld gab sie schon viele hilfreiche Tipps und Informationen. Als schwierig empfanden wir das Einkaufen ohne Mietwagen. Der Weg zum Bäcker und kleinen Lebensmittelladen ist schwierig, über viele Treppen muss viel Höhe überwunden werden...wir nahmen öfters ein Taxi, um unsere Einkäufe zu transportieren. Sehr schön kann man einen Einkauf mit einem gemütlichen Bummel durch Camara de Lobos verbinden...und dem ein oder anderen Gläschen Poncha. Direkt neben dem Supermarkt stehen Taxis. Der schöne Weg am Meer entlang dauert ca. 40 Minuten. Im Vorfeld waren uns die unterschiedlichen Standards der Schlafzimmer nicht bewusst. Vor allem das 3. Zimmer ist ziemlich klein. Eine Jeeptour mit Miguel, Nyaras Mann, gab uns wunderbare Einblicke in die grandiose Landschaft Madeiras. Es gibt zahlreiche Anbieter für Levada Wanderungen und Inseltouren mit dem Kleinbus. Nyara, vielen Dank für Deine Unterstützung.

Bereits bei Ankunft erwartete mich Nyara im App. Auch während des Urlaubes war sie problemlos zu erreichen und gab viele hilfreiche Tipps. Das App-entspricht den Fotos uns ist mit allem Notwendingen ausgestattet. Mit dem Flughafenbus - hält direkt vor der Anlage - ist man bequem für 5 EUR in der Stadt. Einfach nur traumhaft ist der unverbaute Blick vom Balkon/Terrasse. Dies ist Erholung pur! Ich komme bestimmt wieder.

Sicherer Urlaub in bewegten Zeiten in einer zauberhaften Ferienwohnung mit traumhaftem Ausblick

Noch vor wenigen Wochen wussten wir nicht, ob wir unseren Urlaub auf Madeira auch wirklich antreten können. Schon in dieser Zeit war der Kontakt zur Vermieterin, Nyara, herausragend. Nyara hat uns eine verlängerte Stornofrist eingeräumt und uns damit viel Druck genommen. Auch die regelmäßigen Updates zur Entwicklung der Situation auf Madeira waren vorbildlich. Nachdem zum 01.07. die Restriktionen aufgehoben wurden, konnten wir dann wie geplant am 04.07. unsere Reise antreten. Da wir bereits im Vorfeld den Corona-Test am Flughafen Frankfurt/M. durchgeführt und die negativen Befunde auf der Website "Madeira-Safe" hochgeladen hatten, saßen wir auch schon kurze Zeit nach unserer Ankunft in dem Taxi, das Nyara für uns besorgt hatte. Nach ca. 20 Minuten Fahrt kamen wir dann in unserem Ferien-Domizil an. Die Wohnung ist einfach traumhaft schön. Sie ist sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Balkon und die Dachterrasse sind natürlich das Highlight schlechthin Der Atlantik "lag uns zu Füßen" - Herrlich. Das Meeresrauschen und die "rollenden Steine" begleiteten uns dann auch die 14 Tage unseres Urlaubs. Die meiste Zeit haben wir auf dem geräumigen Balkon verbracht (Essen, relaxen im Schatten, Kartenspiele...) Die Dachterrasse mehr zum Sonnen und Wäschetrocknen. Für das Frühstück gibt es 2-3 Möglichkeiten Brötchen, Croissants etc. zu besorgen. Über die Espresso-Maschine (mit Kapseln) in der Küche habe ich mich sehr gefreut :-). Fußläufig befindet sich auch einen größerer Supermarkt (ca. 15-20 Min). und einige Restaurants, in denen man gut essen kann. Direkt vor der Tür liegt der Strand - größtenteils mit großen Kieselsteinen - wandert man einige hundert Meter nach rechts gibt es auch Abschnitte mit (schwarzem) Sand. Auch wenn wir wegen "Corona" nur per WhatsApp miteinander kommunizieren konnten, war zu spüren mit wie viel Leidenschaft Nyara von den zahlreichen Möglichkeiten dieser herrlichen Insel zur berichten wusste. Sie ist eine hervorragende Gastgeberin :-) Wir hatten uns für 10 Tage einen Mietwagen geliehen und Madeira auf "eigene Faust" erkundet. Es ist einfach das perfekte Reiseziel in diesen Zeiten. Wir verbrachten sehr viel Zeit in der freien Natur - auf den herrlichen Wanderwegen, den tollen Aussichtspunkten und den schönen Gärten. Der Tourismus läuft erst langsam wieder an. Wir haben uns die ganze Zeit sehr sicher und wohl gefühlt. Das Einhalten der Hygieneregeln in den Geschäften und in der Gastronomie ist vorbildlich. "Madeira is safe!"

Excellent accommodation and location.

Thanks Nyara for a wonderful stay. The accommodation had all the conveniences you could need. The large balcony provides an excellent opportunity for relaxing and sunbathing. It is located within walking distance of supermarkets and a pleasant 30 minute walk to the town centre. Nyara answered any query we had promptly and we sensed her keenness to assist wherever she could. Overall we had a lovely time and although we like to visit different locations when we travel we already plan to return to Madeira and if available this same accommodation.

Madeira Holiday

We all had a great time in Madeira, and Nyara gave us a great welcome. The apartment is in a lovely location right next to the beach, and has a roof terrace which is private to the appartment. There are plenty of restaurants close by. Miquels off road jeep safari is a must.

Wonderful vacation!

Clean, spacious apartment! Comfortable balcony, and lovely outdoor roof terrace. Ocean splashing right under the window! There are not many people on the beach. Also on the territory of the apart hotel, there is a swimming pool with sunbeds, but we did not use it. It is much more pleasant to relax on the terrace and swim in the ocean. Funchal city centre is a 5-minute drive away. A wonderful holiday away from the hustle and bustle! Every evening we enjoyed a beautiful sunset view! Many thanks to the owner of Niara! We will try to come back again!!!

Highly recommended

The apartment is as advertised with stunning views. It’s is very well equipped (and should now include a knife sharpener which will be a godsend for people like us who like to prepare simple meals and salads to eat on the amazing balcony). The apartment is very well positioned if you don’t mind walking. A bus stop into Funchal is a 5 minute walk away and a large supermarket an easy 15 minute walk. It’s worth stating that buses are excellent and we travelled quite extensively to town and several levada walks efficiently and cheaply. Nyara couldn’t have been more helpful - besides being lovely, she has an excellent knowledge of the area, restaurants and bus routes. She also arranged very economical and efficient transportation to and from the airport. Her husband Miguel, provides the best jeep tours on the island and I strongly recommend you book a couple of tours. Besides seeing parts of the island most don’t see, they are great fun. We particularly recommend the western tour - this was a real highlight of our 2 week stay. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
