About Owner / Property Manager
We met eachother accidently after a wrong contact add on Skype many years back. At the time Roberto was in Singapore but living in Saudi Arabia, and Jenny was living in Los Angeles. Roberto was planning his move back to Italy and looking everywhere for a place to call home. He grew up in Marone, which is two towns over, but since being a teenager has been away studying or working. This home was his Nonna Lucia's home and after searching all through the area he reluctlutly decided to purchase this property and make it his own. This was the time that he met Jenny and after a few conversations via skype text decided to come to Los Angeles on a holiday to meet. At the time I was working as a hosptality manager while owning a modeling agency in LA. We were engaged to be married 8 months after meeting one another, and married 10 months after that. At that time we had moved to Lenox, Massachuttes for Roberto's job for a year project. We moved to Italy and lived in this, our first home, in Dec 2014 after finishing our nearly two year renovation. After living here for over a year we found out that we are headed back to California. As we head back to the Gold Coast we now have our Golden Retreiver "Lilly", and are expecting our son's arrival in June 2016. We hope that this home brings you as much happiness in your stay that it has brought to us. We wish you a wonderful trip that is full of life's beautiful memories. Roberto, Jenny and Lilly Presti
Owner / Property Manager purchased this Apartment in 2012
Why Owner / Property Manager chose Sulzano
This property was in Roberto's family for his entire life. He was hesitant to purchase the property because he wanted something that really was "his." But after spending over a year looking for properties he realized that after a modern renovation this property really was everything that he was looking for regarding size, view and location. Although the intention of this house was to be Roberto's 'bachelor pad" after the purchase it quickly became changed gears as as renovation intended for a young new family.
What makes this Apartment unique
The view from this property is incredible. The home is a mix of old world charm with very modern conviences. The exterior and hallways are filled with local marble that our grandmother picked out when she had a young family, and the interior of the home is all of the best of the modern local fixtures, materials and yes the same local marble from a new age. The location has the best of small lake town and is close to the larger city Iseo filled with shops and restaurants. It is near beautiful Franciacorta where sparkling wine is produced, where the vines are as far as your eye can see with the beautiful mountains as the backdrop. Industrial larger city Brescia where the Mille Mile begins and ends is a very close 25 min drive away.

A wonderful property
We recently had a 6 night stay in Sulzano and stayed in this home for the second time.
We found it once again to be a well presented property with a multitude of assets. It was a clean, simple apartment which had everything we needed whilst on vacation.
The apartment is adjacent to a railway line, and trains pass every twenty minutes or so, but cease at night. This, in our view does not detract from the property as the railway line actually leaves an open space on the west side which maximizes the amazing view. If arriving or leaving by train the station is about a 200m walk!
There are numerous activities in the area to keep one occupied and many nearby interesting towns.
Thank you Roberto and Jenny for access to your wonderful house again!

This is a beautiful apartment located on the first floor of a three floor block. It is in the sleepy town of Salzano, but there are good road and rail connections. We drove from Milan Linate Airport but next time we would use the trains, as the Sulzano station is just a few yards away from the apartment. There's a small supermarket, bakers and a couple of bars. For a good restaurant we found Iseo has a great selection. The boat ferries are easy and timely to use. Mount Isol is just minutes away and worth the trip. Thanks Roberto for all your prompt assistance.
Beautiful and comfortable accommodations
Great apartment for families. Helpful and responsive owners as well. Sulzano is such a wonderful spot and the apartment is well situated for visitors for easy walking access to the town and very close walking distance to the wonderful Trattoria Cacciatore for cosy dinners.
Jenny and Roberto's beautifully refurbished apartment is amongst the best we have stayed in Italy over the past twenty years. They offer a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and for the tea lovers, a KETTLE! Yes ... really. It is tastefully furnished and decorated, the kitchen in particular is very well-equipped, and it has a very comfortable bed with top quality linen. It was absolutely spotless and well-maintained. Roberto's Mother greeted us, a totally charming, very welcoming woman. The apartment is right near the railway line but the trains are infrequent and there was no noise to speak of.
Sulzano, although very small, has several good restaurants, a small supermarket, fruit shop, butcher but the big bonus is that you can easily travel up and down the train line to larger places. Just across the water is Monte Isola with more restaurants, bike riding and walks. The ferry service is frequent and good. We stayed for seven nights and had no trouble filling our time. I highly recommend this property for a restful soggiorno.
Our family of 3 have just spent 2 weeks in this beautiful apartment. The accommodation is situated in a small town close to many larger towns which are readily accessible by car or train.
The owners Robert & Jenny (and his mother) were always prompt and easy to deal with. They presented the apartment in immaculate condition. Whilst there are numerous good restaurants and cafes nearby, the kitchen was very well stocked with all the amenities we required.
The views from the living area and balconies are quite incredible.
We were able to enjoy a number of trips to the local towns, and a couple of longer journeys to meet friends. If cycling is of interest, this region has numerous memorable routes.
We hope to return some day, as even after two weeks there is so much more still to explore.
Thank you Robert and Jenny!

Fabulous apartment , views and situation
The apartment was immaculate and very modern.
One tiny complaint- the plug in the basin in the bathroom did not work. But that was a very tiny tiny minus.
The positioning of the apartment was very close to Sulzano centre where all the shops and bars and restaurants were. It was also very near the train station, and the ferry terminal, both giving opportunities for further travel. We went over to Monte Isola a few times, and went on a ferry taking us around the island. There were fabulous views. In fact you had a fabulous view from the apartment. The Tratatoria Cacciatore had great food and fabulous views and was easily walkable from the apartment. As were the bars at the lakeside. Everyone was very friendly and made us very welcome. At the station there was a water fountain which gave us cold natural water and cold sparkling water -for free.
Iseo town itself was a lovely visit - we went by train. And we also went to Brescia by train - it was a lovely visit too.
All in all a week is not long enough! And Lake Iseo ,being a smaller lake than Como etc made a much more quieter base for our visit. We loved it.
Thank you Roberto and Jennifer , and of course Maria for allowing us to stay in your lovely apartment. Roberto immediately replied to any question asked of him, and his mother Maria was very welcoming.
We would recommend this apartment in Sulzano to everyone.
Lake Iseo is in the Brescia Province, and it may not be an area you are familiar with, although you wish you were. It is a hidden gem that is located on an idealistic lake and is 1hr 15 min away from Milan airport, 1 hr 30 minutes away from Lake Como, 2 hour train ride from Venice, 1 hr from Verona, and 2hrs 30 minutes away from Tuscany. It is a perfect central location if you plan to see many of Italy's destinations. There is a train station 3 minutes walking distance to the house that will take you into Brescia to access any of these Italian towns. Regarding the house you are walking distance to the main town with an ATM, grocery store, butcher, Pizza place, bars and restaurants. The Ferry that will take you anywhere on Lake iseo is just steps away. You can rent bikes for free less then 5 minutes away outside of the Ferry ticket sales.
