About Tom and Judy Heintz
We have lived in the Sheridan Twin Bridges area since 1996. We are both outdoors people and enjoy the rural life style that the area offers. Tom is an ardent big game and upland bird hunter. Judy also enjoys hiking and hunting. Our other interests include motorcycle and horseback riding in the local area. All of our children grew up in the area, in fact many of the wildlife photos on the walls are the work of our daughter Heather. When we travel we look for VRBO properties. Most allow you to prepare your own food if you wish. For those of us on a special diet this is very important.
Tom and Judy Heintz purchased this Townhome in 2015

Nice and clean and cozy
We enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean and stocked well! Property owners were very attentive! Would stay here again!
Very comfortable property with everything you need for a rewarding stay in the Ruby Valley. Owners are very responsive. Close to the best fishing in SW Montana.
Very clean and comfortable
Highly recommend this wonderful home and location
This is a comfortable, clean, enjoyable place to land as you explore this gorgeous Montanan area. The fishing near here was great; the scenery was gorgeous. Butte is a fun day trip (& a beautiful drive with opportunities for short hikes on the way). Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park is a do-not-miss day of cave touring and hiking. Virginia City is a cute, touristy stop with some yummy treat options. All of these are within short drives of this nice residence! We had every amenity we could have wanted here and great communication with the owners!
Great place to stay! House is very clean. Owners meet you at check in. I would recommend this house.
If fishing is your passion there are a number of top notch guide services in the area. Also, be sure to plan a visit to Twin Bridges to see where R.L. Winston and Sweetgrass rods are manufactured.
For the history buff, a visit to Virginia City is a must. This gold rush boom town sprang up in a matter of months after gold was discovered in Alder Creek in May of 1863. The town has a number of business and restaurant options, with many of the proprietors dressing in period costume to add to the old west theme. There is a narrow gauge railroad between Virginia City and Nevada City; children of all ages enjoy the ride and history lesson. Two of my favorite attractions are the Virgina City Creamery and Cousin’s Candy Store. For an evening’s entertainment be sure to check out the Virginia City Players and Brewery Follies.
We are less than 2 hours from West Yellowstone and the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. A trip to Yellowstone National Park makes for a great day of sightseeing.
Other places to explore are the Tobacco Root and the Gravelly Mountains. Both have a number of wonderful day trip options that can include fishing and hiking.
