Fantastic hosts, accommodation and setting
We booked the property based on the look, location and the fabulous reviews already posted and it did not disappoint!. From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. Vincent and Jane are just fantastic, naturally friendly people and make every effort to ensure you're stay is one to remember. There is absolutely everything you need in one place and the attention to detail is second to none, they have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay as easy as possible. A lot of time and love has gone into this place and it shows in the quality of this well maintained location. Roscoe the dog and Muddy the New Forest pony are fantastic too and both are super friendly. Roscoe is such a beautiful, friendly, laid back dog, you can't help but fall in love with him. Our little girl absolutely loved them both and didn't pass up the opportunity to feed Muddy the horse a carrot each morning and give Roscoe big cuddles, he's like a big teddy bear. The location is great! It's within a short driving distance to several different beaches, to many New forest Walks/Deer spotting locations and picturesque villages. We had a busy week making new memories with our daughter and going on different adventures and coming home to the lodge each evening in its comfortable and relaxing environment made it all the more special.
I'm sure we'll go back one day and will definitely recommend to family and friends. I have no doubt in my mind that anyone that stays here will love every moment, as we did. One week wasn't long enough. Thank you Vincent and Jane for all you did for us and your attentiveness throughout our stay, we had a super week xx
Amazing, me and family loved every minute of it.
Was greeting by a loving family who took pride in the property we stayed at was very friendly and always asking if everything was ok. Lovely area and lovely house. Would 100% go again next year.
It was great just what we wanted ! Only stayed two nights but would definitely stay longer ! It was very cosy and comfortable and the hosts were very helpful ! Not forgetting roscoe who was fab ! Overall it was brilliant . Lyn Lea and Keith .
This was a wonderful place for our family! The accommodation was perfect, having all the facilities you could need and close to lots of exciting places to explore - from beautiful forest to amazing beaches, with so much history too. What made our holiday extra special was the welcome we received from the owners and how lovely they were, so eager to ensure we had a fantastic time. Oh and their super friendly dog and a horse in the paddock next to us - what better way to start the day than to see these two! It's not often that you go somewhere and it's actually even lovelier than you had hoped. We didn't want to leave! We hope to go back as soon as we can, and it would be enjoyable in any season. A HUGE thank you for our wonderful time!
