2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment
Ca' Leonessa is a recently (2010) restored luxury apartment located in the heart of Venice. It is a short walk from the bus and railway stations. Due to its superb location all the sites of Venice are either within walking distance or a couple of stops on the vaporetto. In the furnishing of the apartment the prime consideration has been to create a comfortable and welcoming oasis for you after a busy days sight seeing in magical Venice.
The living room (which overlooks the canal and the Campo San Barnaba) features two Natuzzi sofa's (one double sofa bed) a Linn sound system and HD television with DVD/CD player.
Both bedrooms are bright and airy with comfortable beds and have plenty of hanging/storage space in the bespoke wardrobes. Bedroom 1 has a luxurious double bed with fine linens and traditional Venetian fabrics. Bedroom 2 has two single beds. Both bathrooms are fully tiled with power showers.
The kitchen has been hand built and features dining for 6.

Clean, comfortable, and perfect location
My family and I stayed in this apartment for our first trip to Venice. It was a wonderful stay in a wonderful city. The apartment was very clean and it is located very close to a supermarket that had everything we needed. Around the corner is a bakery where we purchased the most delicious croissants for breakfast at the start of each day. We walked everywhere we wanted to go but if not in the mood for walking, it was a short walk to a vaporetto stop. There was a fruit/vegetable boat located in the canal in front of the apartment which was a bonus. We met with Giulia, who gave us the key and the instructions for the apartment. She was terrific and she gladly answered all the questions we had. It was a pleasure staying here and we would highly recommend it to friends and family.
Beautiful apartment in a great location
Clean, stylish and well furnished. Was close to restaurants, groceries and a farm fresh produce market. 2 blocks from water bus stop. About a half hour walk to St marks square. Only issue was a bit of a sewer smell on arrival, but I think it was only because the traps had dried out. After we used the shower, it went away. Apartment managers were helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.
Fantastic apartment in great easy to find location
Great apartment very easy to find ,just a very short walk from Vaporetto stop so very easy to get around and see all the sites

Hopefully will return to Venice and I would definitely stay here again .
Perfect Location in the heart of Venice - Excellent Apartment and a home from home.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this fabulous canal side apartment. The apartment was in the perfect location - 3 mins from a Vaporetti stop and 2 mins away from a fabulous ‘everything freshly baked’ bakery. Also a couple of minutes from a decent supermarket and lots of nice restaurants and bars in the vicinity. We went in January so Venice was cold but the apartment was lovely and cosy warm every evening. Lots of DVD’s to watch if you want to put your feet up at the end of a long day sightseeing. Check in was flawless with Giulia giving us lots of information about the apartment, the local area and things to do. Beds were very comfortable and everything in the kitchen functioned well. There are 2 bathrooms both with hairdryers and showers were always lovely and hot. We are a family of 3 and my daughter absolutely loved this apartment. Would thoroughly recommend it and I can never understand why anybody would want to stay in a hotel. We hope to return to Venice in the future and would definitely come back to this apartment. Perfect in every way and thoroughly recommended. *****😁

Excellent location and great apartment
We have stayed in the Academia area several times and know it well. This was our first time staying at this apartment and would highly recommend it. The meet and greet was right on time and easy to communicate with. Very clean, thanks to all.
Your first glimpse of Venice, the pearl of the Adriatic, is of a magnificent vision of a city rising from the waters of the lagoon. The unique light has fascinated artists and travellers for centuries. As perhaps the greatest trading state Venice has absorbed different cultures like no other City. Its unrivalled blend of cultures is evidenced in the truly magnificent array of architectural styles from Byzantine through to Renaissance elegance and even the neo Fascist architecture of the railway station. The Grand Canal runs through the centre of the city with its numerous smaller canals and 400 plus bridges link the city and its succession of palazzi. From the first refugees arriving to the rise of the great Venetian empire of the 13th century and the later Napoleonic invasion, Venice has it all.
