I booked for 7 nights but it was not suitable for my family so vacated after one night and found alternative accommodation in the town. The apartment was dusty, my son’s allergies meant that we couldn’t stay there. It was not clean. For the one night we stayed my 2 children slept on the sofa bed down stairs as bedrooms were too dusty. The location is not good if carrying skis too and from the Telecabine. I received no offer an any refund or any sharing of the cost.

Hello Shane, Thank you for taking th time to review. As I said in our previous communication at the time that I was sorry that you felt that you had to leave for your reasons given. I was however, very surprised by your comments mentioning dust and cleanliness of the apartment as we ourselves were there until the night before you arrived and always ensure the property is thoroughly clean before leaving as do our concierge company at other times in our absence. Yours are the first comments received regarding cleanliness by our clients over many years of successful renting including many returning customers. The location of the apartment is described clearly on the website. I hope your decision did not spoil your enjoyment of Les Carroz and that you found your alternative accommodation more to your requirements.

Compact traditional French apartment

French apartment in a good location with great views. Easy access to the village and telecabin, we have stayed here a few times with our family of four and it suits us fine.

Family time at Les Carroz

We had a great time in the appartment. Well located at Les Carroz near shops and ski lifts. The communication with our host Martin was simple, helpful and spontaneous. Definitively recommandée for a family of 5.

Family skiing holiday Jan 24

Very comfortable and well appointed chalet. Warm and cosy, everything worked well, beds very comfortable, wet kit dried quickly, comfy sitting room. Plenty of warmth and hot water. Resort perfect for a young to aged skiing party. Note chalet is down steps, through a swing door, the last on the left before a hairpin turn to the right.

Great 2 week Ski Holiday Stay

My family of 4 had a great 2 weeks at Martin's apartment in Les Carroz. The location was very convenient with a very short walk to the telecabine (we rented a locker to keep our skis which made it even easier) and an equally short walk to the village. The apartment was very cozy with fabulous views onto the mountain. We had all the supplies we needed and the washer & dishwasher were very welcome conveniences. Martin was very quick to respond to any questions before and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay in a lovely apartment

Had a great week in this lovely apartment. Very well equipped and clean. Was easy to find with the instructions and we soon found the quick way down to the village, approx. 8mins walk away. Telecabine was the same time away too. Walking back up the steps was a bit of a killer though :) The apartment really does have everything needed for an enjoyable stay.

Wij zijn hier nu voor de vierde keer terug geweest en vinden het een heerlijke plek. De pistes zijn goed bereikbaar en het huis heeft alles dat je nodig hebt! Wij komen dan ook volgend jaar weer terug!

Wir waren schon zum 2. mal in der Unterkunft indes war wieder sehr schön. Da der Weg zur Unterkunft sehr steil und rutschig ist sollte man nicht Zuviel Gepäck zum Tragen dabei haben. Das Wohn/Esszimmer ist für Familie mit Kinder etwas klein, aber man ist ja eh auf der PisteDer Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und antwortet bei Fragen schnell. Empfehlenswert ist es sich eine Locker bei der Telecabiene zu mieten, da der Weg dorthin für das Auto zu kurz, aber mit Skischuhen zu weit ist.Der Ort ist schön, aber der Heimweg steil und damit anstrengend

bonne localisation même si un peu haut pour retour avec ses skis & pas de local ski au niveau de la télécabine de Kedeuze, Espace intéressant (55m2) & 2/3 chambre en duplex Equipement complet. Abord compliqués pour accès (pas de lumière et glissant si neige)

Cela sera réparé à la première occasion, maintenant que je suis au courant. Également pour vos informations futures, il y a un local à skis disponible à la télécabine de Kedeuze à gauche de la billetterie au rez-de-chaussée. Cordialement Martin

Vacances en famille

Nous avons passé 1 semaine dans l’appartement de Martin. C’était très agréable, les espaces sont optimisés, ce qui permet d’être à 6 confortablement. Martin est très réactif dans la communication ce qui facilite beaucoup les échanges. Je recommande cet endroit même si cela peut s’avérer un peu fatiguant de remonter tous ces escaliers pour des personnes d’un âge avancé.

Location, très bien situé. Proche de tous commerce, tout peux se faire à pieds. Quasiment à côté de la télécabine pour le ski. A relouer, pour une prochaine fois.

Bon emplacement

Le chalet est situé à proximité des pistes et non loin du centre des Carroz. La vue du balcon est magnifique. Le point négatif est l’accès au Chalet, très glissant sur la neige et boueux au dégel il serait bien de l aménager.

Idéalement situé et vue magnifique

Appartement conforme à la description avec tous ce qu il faut. Commerces et pistes à 5 min à pied. Vue magnifique du balcon. Seul bémol l accès à l appartement qui aurait vraiment besoin d être refaite car dangereuse et boueuse en cas de pluie et de verglas.

Très bon séjour !

Appartement spacieux et très confortable. Bien chauffé, bien équipé. Le balcon propose une vue dégagée sur le village Les Carroz-d'Arâches et la chaine des Aravis. C'est magnifique. Le linge de lit étant fourni, cela épargne du travail de lingerie. Les aires de parking sont proches du logement. L'accès au village à pied reste facile malgré le léger dénivelé. Nous avons apprécié la réactivité des propriétaires sur le site d'Abritel. Un très agréable séjour à la neige !

When the opportunity came in the year 2000 to visit my cousin who lived in the traditional French alpine village of Les Carroz, we came and fell in love with the area. By chance we looked at a property that seemed to 'find us' and have been spending as much time there as work will allow ever since.

The property is a few minutes walk to the Telecabine and to the village centre. Fantastic views from the south facing balcony.
