We spent a lovely three weeks here. Both double bedrooms have their own bathrooms. The kitchen is small and has no oven, but we knew that when we booked. It is fine for one pot meals, chilli, spag' bol' etc. Outside is the BBq which was well used. Maroje & Katarine were attentive and welcoming to our Giant Schnauzer dog. Maroje was always quick to respond to our questions/queries and speaks good English. There is a large garden at the side of the house so the dog is well catered for. The only minus is the speed of the wifi but when you look at the biokovo mountains literally behind the house, it is easy to understand why. The property has its own garage space which if you are here in the summer months, is an asset in itself. Brist is very quiet, but really friendly, with not much activity in terms of eating/bars. There is a lovely coastal promenade to Gradac, 20 minute stroll away which is awash with choice of restaurants/bars. The view across the sea to the Peljesac peninsular is wonderful. This is an excellent base for exploring this part of Croatia. Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir, Ston, Peljesac peninsular and Korcula all within easy driving distance. Also visit the lovely small fishing villages nearby. We also went to Bosnia on two occasions to visit Mostar, Blagaj and the Kravice waterfalls.
I would thoroughly recommend this property and Brist/Gradac to my friends and family.
Be advised, just like many other countries in Europe, dogs are not allowed on the pebble beach during June through to end of September.
