Villa Camélia - Fundão - Portugal center region

   Villa 'Vivenda' and its huge private swimming pool (16x8 m - plus 4x4 m child's bath) are on an exceptional site, on the heights of Fundão (550m above sea level) facing 'Serra da Estrela'; Mountain Highest of Portugal - 2000 m - with its natural park classified). The villa is located within the perimeter of the 3 Natural Reserves (Estrela - Malcata - Gardunha).
The site is beautiful and very quiet, in the heart of an orchard of 9 000 m2 (itself bordered by other orchards). An enchanting setting with panoramic views over 20 to 30 km overlooking one of the most beautiful valleys in Europe and nearby (2.5 km) from the nature reserve 'da Serra da Gardunha'.

As for the garden furniture, there is also everything there: 2 benches of gardens, coffee table, 8 chairs, 2 tables, 3 parasols.
You can also enjoy the covered barbecue and night swimming as the swimming pool is lighted. There is also a petanque and two mountain bikes.
Whether you are fond of old stones, gastronomy or hiking the region will seduce you by its Nature almost Intact!

The rented part is located on the ground floor of the villa and is very appreciated by visitors for its freshness in summer, as well as its large covered terrace ideal for your meals with family or friends.

Très bon sejour

Maison fonctionnelle avec un extérieur exceptionnel. Propriétaire discret mais toujours disponible qui connaît très bien la ville et la région. Je recommande.

Vacances en famille

Nous avons passée 13 jours vraiment sympa. Des propriétaires accueillants et très discrets. Un endroit juste magnifique paisible et reposant.Une piscine de rêves et des alentours bien entretenu. Le matin au déjeuner vous êtes accompagnés des oiseaux qui font que cette endroit est paisible. Proche de toutes commodités Fundao est une petite ville fort sympathique, Covilha ville a 10 min, offre une piscine avec vagues et centres commerciaux à visiter, sans oublier Serra de Strela, montagne la plus haute du Portugal.Merci encore pour l'accueil.

A beautiful oasis of calm

This villa was in a lovely location, the pool and garden were beautiful and very calm. The holiday villa, which is in the downstairs of the main house, had everything we needed and remained cool in the heat of the day. Whilst the patio added plenty of shady space outside. We had a wonderfully relaxing fortnight, many thanks.

C'était parfait ! Un jardin extraordinaire au mille couleurs et senteurs où nos enfants âgés de 7 ans et 18 mois ont joué en toute liberté, une superbe piscine, une famille très accueillante et charmante. Les paysages sont magnifiques : vieux villages perchés dans la montagne tous plus beaux les uns que les autres, plage fluviale, des vergers à perte de vue. Cuisine locale délicieuse. On ne voulait plus partir.... mais on va revenir !!!!

Superbes vacances !

Une semaine magnifique avec un temps superbe, une piscine aux dimensions effectivement XXL, (même plus !!), un accueil hyper chaleureux de la part des propriétaires habitant juste au-dessus accompagné d'une gentillesse sans bornes, citrons, pamplemousses, figues et autres concombres et courgettes à profusion.... Merci encore à vous pour tout ceci, n'allez pas non plus acheter votre huile d'olive bio ailleurs que chez eux, bref, location en tous points conformes à la description et au final une semaine de rêve....!!!!

Magnifique séjour dans un cadre idyllique

Accueil chaleureux, les propriétaires sont prévenants et disponibles, ils n'hésitent pas à nous conseiller pour visiter les environs. L'emplacement est fantastique. Vues magnifiques sur les montagnes, le soir nous avions une belle vue sur la vallée et les lumières de la ville. La villa est calme et à seulement 2 minutes en voiture du centre . La maison est très bien équipée. Le jardin et le verger sont magnifiques. Très grande piscine, et superbe terrasse, jeux pour les enfants. Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cette belle villa.

Description of the villa is perfectly compliant. Friendly owner, good advice to discover the wonderful places of the region. Can you imagine montains with cherry trees in flower ? it's so beautiful ! Magical place, we recomend it and we will return.
