The house is recently renovated in a rural setting of a typical Mallorcan village. Next to the Franciscan Convent of San Antonio de Padua.

Loft open ground floor with minimalist and practical decoration. The goal: the guest does not feel intimidated by excessive decorations.
Upstairs 3 bedrooms with very high ceilings with wooden beams that provide character to the house.

Our second stay at Isabel’s house in Arta

We stayed in Isabel’s property pre covid and we’re so pleased to be able to return again this year. Contact, arrival procedure and access to the property were all clear and simple. The property was even better than last time where there have been a number of upgrades. The property is well maintained and the ‘secret garden’ is beautiful and a wonderful place to spend sunny days and warm evenings. The town centre of Arta is a five minute stroll with its fine selection of shops and restaurants and a choice of beaches are a short drive away. We hope to return again soon.

Everything you could want

We stayed here pre-covid and loved it, but it lacked air con and wifi. Both of those issues are now fixed - aircon in the main bedroom and the lounge, and very fast wifi. Plus there's a new smart TV. Arta is a beautiful, peaceful small town with fabulous restaurants. This is a fabulous property; the garden is an oasis of tranquility and the recent upgrades make it perfect. We'd recommend getting a car, but be aware you need to park in the car park by the old train station otherwise you'll get a ticket (I'm still trying to work out how to pay mine, it's a nightmare). There's a wonderful small supermarket just on the corner, or you can do a big shop in Manacor. Cala Agulla is about 10 mins drive away and is the most beautiful beach in the world. Any issues, Isabel is always there on WhatsApp.

Der Garten war wunderbar und die Einrichtung liebevoll zusammengestellt!In der Küche hätte die Ausstattung etwas besser sein können, das Kochfeld war beispielsweise sehr klein, was das Kochen für mehrere Personen etwas schwierig machte

Ein wunderschönes Haus in der Altstadt. Fleischer, Bäcker, Supermerktvund Biomarkt ist super zu Fuss erreichbar. Trotz der zentralen Lage hat man seine Ruhe.

Super Stadthaus

Bonito y cómodo alojamiento

La casa está muy bien ,es muy cómoda y se agradece el aire acondicionado abajo y en una de las habitaciones(el resto tiene ventilador). El patio es superbonito, nosotros hemos tenido demasiado calor para poder aprovecharlo como hubiéramos querido, pero es una maravilla. En el pueblo no hay mucho, pero si tu plan es descubrir un sitio diferente cada día, está fenomenal.

Nette Unterkunft direkt in Arta

Die Unterkunft erfüllt alles was man braucht, die Ausstattung ist okay. Leider existiert nur in einem Schlafzimmer und im unteren Stock (Küche, Wohn- Esszimmer) eine Klimaanlage, die zwei weiteren Schlafzimmer sind ohne Klimaanlage. Das Gas für das Warmwasser müsste selbst besorgt werden, wenn es leer ist. Bei Vollauslastung der Wohnung ist das nach wenigen Tagen der Fall. Bei dem Preis der Wohnung wäre hier mehr Komfort gewünscht. In der Umgebung hat es alles was man braucht: Supermarkt 2 min, Bäckerei 2 min, Bio-Supermarkt 4 min, Restaurants 10 min, Parkplätze 4 min (man kann aber gut vor die Wohnung fahren zum Ein- und Ausladen)

Schönes Haus mit tollem Innenhof, aber verbesserungswürdigem Service

Die Eigentümerin des Hauses war bei unserer Ankunft nicht vor Ort.Auch die Hausverwalterin war nicht annwesend. Den Hausschlüssel sollten wir an einer Tankstelle im Ort abholen.Leider wurde er erst einmal von der Angestellten der Tankstelle nicht gefunden.Ich rief die Hausverwalterin an. Die Verständigung auf englisch klappte dann nur mit ihrem Mann. Dann wurde der Schlüssel gefunden.Diese Art der Schlüsselübergabe kannten wir so noch nicht und wir haben schon einige Male Häuser in Arta gemietet. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen komplett erfüllt.Es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz.Der Garten ist wunderschön bepflanzt und auch das Mobiliar dort war sehr gemütlich. Man muss allerdings wissen,dass sich gegenüber des Hauses die Kirche sowie eine Schule befindet.Ab 7.30 Uhr" nimmt man am Schulbetrieb " teil.Uns hat das nicht sehr gestört,man hat nun mal ein Stadthaus gebucht. Ansonsten war es ziemlich ruhig in der Strasse. Parkplatzschwierigkeiten hatten wir so gut wie nie. Während unseres Aufenthalts hätten wir plötzlich kein warmes Wasser mehr. Wir hatten mit der Hausbesizterin per Whats-App Kontakt und sie erklärte uns ,wo wir im Haus eine neue finden. Austauschen sollten wir dann selbst. Leider war auch diese Flasche leer.Die Hauseigentümerin schrieb uns,dass die Hausverwalterin sich am nächsten Tag kümmern würde und gegen 16.00 Uhr eine neue Flasche bringen würde.So freuten wir uns schon auf eine Dusche nach dem Strandbesuch. Leider hat auch das nicht geklappt. Die Hausdame war in Palma zu einer Arztuntersuchung und konnte auch nicht sagen,wann sie wieder in Arta sein würde. Als wir vom Strand kamen haben wir die Gasflas selbst an einer Tankstelle gekauft und ausgetauscht.Kurz um, wir empfanden das als sehr schlechten Service und waren in der Situation ziemlich verärgert. Das Geld haben wir natürlich am nächsten Morgen zurück erhalten. Ansonsten haben wir uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und eine schöne Zeit mit der Familie dort verbracht.

Schönes Haus mit kleinen Abzügen

Das Haus ist sehr zentral gelegen. Ins Zentrum mit vielen Restaurents geht man ca. 10 Minuten. Ein Bäcker und Supermarkt liegt ca. 70 Meter entfernt. Dennoch ist es sehr ruhig. Die Einrichtung ist wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Im Haus wird es allerdings, durch die fehlende Klimaanlage sehr warm. Es gibt zwar Ventilatoren, bei hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit war es aber für uns nicht ausreichend. Es gibt ein Babybett, aber keinen Kinderstuhl. Die Kommunikation mit Isabel fiel zwar gut, aber ausschließlich per WhatsApp. Während unseres Aufenthalts musste die Gasflasche gewechselt werden, über die das Warmwasser läuft. Wir bekamen nur eine Mitteilung wo im Haus eine neue Flasche zu finden ist und mussten diese selber wechseln. Dafür hätten wir uns etwas mehr Service gewünscht. Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden und haben eine schöne Woche dort verbracht. Besonders der Innenhof ist sehr schön und gemütlich.

Beautiful - but not quite as advertised

This is a beautiful house in a wonderful location. However, when searching for a property I had aircon and wifi set as filters. Both of these were listed on the advert but when we arrived at the house it had neither. Apart from that (a fairly big issue in a July heatwave to be fair), the house is amazing. Highlights for us: - The garden is like paradise and so peaceful, pool is fabulous and really deep! Take insect repellent though because there's bitey things. - Kitchen was great and really well equipped. Loads of spices, oil, vinegar etc etc. It was lovely to be able to properly cook in the evening and have dinner in the garden. - Great location. Just a few minutes to village centre and there's a pretty decent mini-supermarket about 50m away. - 20 minute drive at most to Cala Agullar which is one of the nicest beaches I've ever seen. - Showers were great, very powerful and lots of hot water. - No problems communicating with Isabel. She was away when we were there but responded very quickly to our queries. - Arta is a wonderful place to stay with lovely shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay at Isabel's house, and if it had aircon in the bedrooms I would go back in a heartbeat.

Great house in a great location

Really great house on the edge of the old town. 2 minute walk to get fresh bread and croissants in the morning, 3 minutes to the supermarket and 5 minutes to the local farmers market. The house was clean and surprisingly spacious, the courtyard garden was much larger than we were expecting and the plunge pool was perfect to cool off in at the end of the day. Isabel, the owner, was always helpful but all the contact was via email/WhatsApp. We collected the keys from the local petrol station and let ourselves in. Our only complaint was the lack of wifi - which did not go down well with the teenage member of our group! In truth the adults also found it frustrating. Arta is a great village/town and we enjoyed exploring it the evening and finding new places to eat and drink. Market day on Tuesday was great fun. The beaches are all about 10 minutes away in a car. We had our favourites but they were all good. All in all a really good property - would have been perfect with wifi.

Lovely holiday in Arta

Beautiful property with amazing private courtyard garden - perfect for sunbathing in the day and relaxing evenings. The small waterfall pool was great to cool off in during the hot July weather. The villa is really well located close to the centre of Arta in easy walking distance of the main square and lovely restaurants and just a short drive to various local beaches. We had a very enjoyable holiday and hope to return again in the future.

Top located house in a lovely village

We enjoyed our stay very much, the house had everything we needed. Even though indicated, there was no Wifi, but we didn‘t need it. The patio is very charming, nice flowers and a little waterfall pool. It‘s a 5 minutes walk to the main square of Arta, we loved this little village. We always found a parking space around the house. All in all we would definitely recommend this house.

Maison très bien situé avec un très joli patio et petite piscine seul hic pas d’état des lieux à notre arrivée départ sans état des lieux donc surprise à notre retour caution non rendu entièrement à ma surprise causse battant des toilettes une fixation cassé ceci est une pièce d’usure je signale au prochain de bien faire attention pour éviter les surprises Dommage de c’est incident car on compte y retourner l’année prochaine

Excellent house in a great location

The access could ave been easier. Communication with the owner was by e-mail on my iPad, a telephone conversation would have been more efficient. Not only did we not have the address, the housekeeper Rosa speaks no English but I managed to get a man who had just parked his car to arrange for her to come and let us in. The property is 2 minutes walk from a supermarket and 10 minutes from the restaurants. Very clean and lovely outside courtyard for sunbathing that is not overlooked. Slept well but there are a number of church bells nearby. A kettle would have been good.

Wer Urlaub abseits der Touristenströme sucht ist hier richtig. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet nur eine richtige Kaffemaschine und WIFI hat uns gefehlt.

Unglaublich schön und offen

Wir sind bereits viele Male in Arta gewesen und kennen die Art Urlaub zu machen in der Stadt. Dies ist für uns immer wieder eine Möglichkeit die Menschen hier in Ihrem für uns funktionierendem Ortsleben zu erleben. Es macht uns Spaß. Das Haus ist sehr hell und geräumig. Im Gegensatz zu den von uns besuchten ortsüblichen Stadthäusern! Der Patio mit dem Tauchbecken und Wasserfall hat besonders unserem Kind gefallen. Der Garten sowie das Haus ist noch recht neu. Der Garten sieht schon jetzt wunderschön aus, wird aber wenn die Pflanzen gut gedeihen bald ein echtes Juwehl! Die Vermieterin ist super freundlich und kümmerte sich schnell um unsere Fragen. Dank ihrer Vielsprachigkeit hat alles bestens funktioniert. Wir haben es sehr genossen in diesem Herbst die schon ruhige Insel besuchen zu können und kommen bestimmt bald wieder!!
