Sommerhus "L'Alloro 2"

Den fuldt udstyrede lejlighed med 6 senge er opdelt i forskellige miljøer.
Stueetagen består af en åben plads med stor spiseplads med en behagelig dobbelt sovesofa og et badeværelse med bruser og bidet. På samme niveau er der også et værelse med en dobbeltseng, der kan deles i to enkeltsenge; Altid i stueetagen, ved siden af spisepladsen, er der køkkenet, der er udstyret med alle nødvendige redskaber og rengøringsmidler. Ud over køkkenet er der et yderligere rum, hvor du finder vaskemaskine.
På mezzaninen er der et andet soveværelse med dobbeltseng og et karakteristisk badeværelse med bruser og bidet. På anmodning kan du tilføje en camping-barneseng.
I tilfælde af at der ikke er mere end to, kan gæsterne kun bruge stueetagen med seng, spisestue, køkken og badeværelse, medmindre andet er aftalt.

A Few Days In Matera

Very clean and excellent location. We were travelling by car, so the on site parking was a godsend. Pietro was great with the communications and very quick to resolve any problems, as well as providing helpful suggestions.

Great stay in Matera.

We had the best time in Matera. The location of the VRBO was perfect . In walking distance to every where. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone . The owner was a great communicator and answered all our questions. Matera is an amamazong city to see .

Excellent location

Very nice clean property. Host was very available and really helpful. He gave us a lot of informations about Matera and Sassi. Very good location, everything we wanted to see was at a walking distance from the appartment.

Welcoming Matera Host and Accommodation

Our host Pietro was very welcoming and provided us with lots of information. The accommodation was clean and provided lots of room for 5 ladies (thankful for 2 bathrooms). Location was perfect, within walking distance of the old town of Matera. Lots of privacy and parking available. If we ever get back to the enchanting city of Matera would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location and property!

This is a wonderful property. It’s very clean, has parking and is very well organized and thought out for travelers. The pictures do not do it justice. Pietro was very helpful despite us not sharing a common language. Don’t hesitate to rent this property!

Beautiful Matera home

The property was wonderful in every way; spotless, attractive, comfortable, private yet very close to the Sassi of Matera we had come to visit. The host thought of everything, from breakfast and snack items, to all the comforts one could wish for in a “home away from home”. It was perfect! Grazie mille!

Fantastic property

Pietro was extremely helpful, kind and informative. The house was immaculately clean and well appointed. All the essentials had been thought of, and lots more. The location within the town is ideal for shops, bakeries, restaurants and setting off on a tour. Very secure too. I would recommended without hesitation. Grazie Pietro

Matera rental

We had the upmost pleasure of staying at the Holiday House in Matera. We were greeted by Domenico and his father Pietro. They were outstanding in showing us the home, where to eat, shop and explore. The house is amazing, it is equipped better than most 5 star hotels. It is impeccable, I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to go to Matera, they are short walk to the Sassi and main centre. We will be back for sure.

An excellent place to stay

The house is comfortable. There is a very good heating system - important in cool March/April weather. There are two modern bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable. It is very quiet - it's on a dead end so there is no passing traffic. It's close to town, good cafe, shops, etc. Pietro was brilliant to deal with. He doesn't speak English but he is very quick with his translation app and very willing to help. He was also happy to speak slowly and clearly so that those with a little Italian were able to follow him. Altogether it was a lovely place to stay.

Great Holliday home in Matera

This home was just as nice as the online pictures showed. The home was furnished nicely and was quite spacious. An espresso machine is provided as well as lots of coffee capsules. Nice selection for breakfast as well. Valeria was a delight to work with and she kept in touch with us throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. The secured auto court was so great to have since you didn’t have to worry about parking. The location is excellent as it’s very close to the old town and some wonderful restaurants. Matera was more splendid than we had expected. Will definitely return to thi jewel. Highly recommend the house and the city.

Outstanding apartment in a great location.....

Pietro and Domenica have done a great renovation to provide a spacious, well equipped and spotless apartment with first class finishes while retaining stone features such as the high arched ceiling and decorative tile flooring. Standouts for us were the extremely well stocked food pantry (croissants, cakes, jams, butter, juices, tea, coffee, yogurt and bottled water ), good kitchen equipment, large walk in rain shower and secure off street parking. Their advice on Sassi tour options made our time here very productive and enjoyable. Easily accessible supermarkets, fruit shops, delis, bread and pastry shops and assorted restaurants and pizzerias all within a couple of blocks. Ideal property for those looking for well equipped self catering accommodation with great hosts.

Great host . Had his stuff very organized even to the extent he had maps of everything. He explained everything with lots of patience and is of very good nature. I will have to come back to the city again because I loved it and I will stay in the same place again because everything from new town, restaurants , grocery stores parks Sassi to old historic town is walking distance. The house also have very safe and secure inside parking for car. The house is on a dead end street so no traffic at all. Owner left so many food items for us. Yogurt, biscuits patties , muffin etc Very generous of him . Great place to stay for families with kids

Of all the places we stayed in Italy, this was the best in every regard. It was clean, well appointed, quiet, spacious, had nice bathrooms, and was very comfortable. Our host Pietro was very kind and helpful.

Amazing!

This apartment was absolutely perfect for our holiday in Matera! Our hosts greeted us as we arrived and took the time to orient us to the city and point out key tourist points on a map. The apartment was located very well and within easy walking distance of the Saasi and also the train station. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful Matera

This apartment is the ideal place to stay for a visit to Matera. It is immaculate and well stocked with everything you could need. On-site parking is an added bonus and our host Pietro was welcoming and very helpful. We highly recommend this lovely apartment.

This is their family home and you could tell it meant a lot to them to make it your home too. The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of packaged foods, they were excellent communicators and the location is excellent. I’ll stay there again.

Perfect!

Let me just say that Pietro is by far and away the most gracious host we have ever met in our extensive number of stays using HomeAway. He has the most cheerful disposition and truly goes out of his way to make you feel "at home" in the L'Alloro apartments. From the well stocked fridge and pantry to complimentary toiletries in the baths, Pietro and Domenico certainly know how to create the perfect stay in Matera. Located conveniently just a few minutes away from the historic part of town, everything is walkable. You can easily drive to the apartments, park securely in a small courtyard, and then be on foot for the rest of your visit. We stayed in L'Alloro 2 (one of two apartments on site). It was spotlessly clean. A very nice layout with a private mezzanine above and additional sleeping area towards the back. This was perfect for a family of four with two little kids. Each area has their own bathroom with shower and toilet. And, oh by the way, Matera is awesome. But that's a whole other review.... :) Seriously, you will be very pleased staying at L'Alloro. Many thanks to Pietro for his hospitality. You are true gentleman, sir!

Excellent, Centrally Located Accommodations in Matera...Must stay!

We were so thrilled with every aspect of this property. The location is perfect, just a few blocks from the central Piazza. The property was large and had everything you could want included. And the property managers were absolutely fantastic! They were attentive, informative, flexible and amazingly welcoming and friendly. I will book this property again on my next visit to Matera and I highly recommend you do the same!!

Highly recommend, great location, wonderful hosts, comfortable flat

This apartment was like entering a luxury oasis. We stayed there with our 2 teenage so s(17,14) for 2 nights and I honestly did not want to leave. Domenico and Pietro could not have been more gracious and helpful we took them up on all their suggestions for sight seeing and meals and they were spot on every time. The apartment was very comfortable for all of us we had space to relax in one of the most charming updated and very reflective of the town it is in. We LOVED Matera it was one of the most unique unexpected cities we have ever visited. I would recommend the apartment and the city to any travellor.
